[Spoilers] The Real Wano Challenge: Death or Power-Up (907)

One Piece Ch.907 was absolutely incredible and has a lot of new content to be excited about but I have yet to see anyone discuss possibly the biggest dilema for the main cast that was revealed.

Both Big Mom and Kaido are coming for the StrawHats lives during the Wano Arc!!! And we just recently saw how the StrawHats just barely survived their run in with a distracted and weakened Big Mom. Now during wano it is being confirmed that they will have to survive and stop the FULL MIGHT of TWO VENGEFUL YONKO!! These guys are bloodlusted after the strawhat crew, which IMO puts them in the most dangerous situation they have ever been in.

This leads me to believe that one of 2 things will happen for the Strawhats. They will either:

1. All gain massive powerups (not asspulls but something natural through story progression), which by the end of the Wano arc will have them able to compete with a Yonko's crew on their own. Examples of this has already been shown with Nami aquiring a huge powerup with the addition of

2. A Strawhat will Die!!!

This Wano War has already been confirmed by ODA to be 10x worst then MarineFord, and now with the possible intorduction to Kaido and Big Mom's old Captian (Rocks or Locks), Whitebeards Son, the Whitebeard pirates, possibly the marines, The Minks, the Supernova, the Samerai (which even Akainu is cautious of crossing), and 2 yonko crews this is slated to be a bloodbaths.

I'm almost certain the first option is going to happened especially with the hype of Luffy rising to the Rank of Yonko (5th Emperor of The Sea), but I would like to hear your thoughts on this. How powerful do you think the strawhats will be after the wano arc, and do you see a potential SH death on the Horizon?​

It'll be the biggest hype storm in One piece history. We're probably gonna see things that don't make sense but for sure Luffy needs to polish up his game if he wants to sit there on top of everybody else except for his other two colleagues Linlin and Kaido (as weird as that sounds).

Luffy does need to polish his game because 4th gear was fodder in comparison to big mom so more than likely it won't phase kaido either.

We could also see Rayleigh. I mean, he also like Luffy. I just dont know what is gonna happen. But Doflamingo was right, the biggest storm is coming and there is only one seat for Pirate King.

But I think after Reveries we could see the scale of all this, even Garp said that the situation is worse than what we can think of.

If the worse is death, then what could be worse than that?

My thoughts exactly but Luffy needs to work on that stamina and Haki more too. He can't fight for 11 hours and get tired, JImbei and Ace went on for 5 days straight.

The fact that Luffy defeated Crocodile and Enel before Lucci proves Lucci > Enel and Crocodile, and Luffy isn't gonna be the one who'll fight Akainu, Sabo is.

Also, I predict the typical stuff. A lot of people helping out the Straw Hats, possibly even Shanks showing up and helping Luffy, he will turn some of the samurai as his allies, the typical shit.

No one will die from the Straw Hats, come on now buddy.

I agree Lucci is > them, especially in the future

Akainu was never unconscious and there's no proof he was. If anything it was a tactical retreat and he even says whiteboards name, unconscious people don't speak if I recall

He never said Whitebeard's name those were the commanders. He "koff" before falling unconscious but when you fall head first to the ground, that's called being unconscious even if the eyes are wide open. It happens all the time in combat sports.
If a "tactile retreat" is still your excuse despite being concussed stiff falling, that's still a loss for Akainu.

Marco and Vista sent Akainu packing so stop with the fanboyism because I don't care about how illogically powerful you think Akainu is, the manga made it very clear that Yonko is on a tier of their own. Even Kizaru refused to capture Rayleigh because he admitted that he himself isn't enough.

I don't think Luffy fights Akainu; I feel like Sabo inherited that fight when he ate the Mera Mera no mi, essentially Ace's will, and we saw how distraught and beat up about it he was as he couldn't be there to protect Ace. Him fighting and beating Akainu is redemption for his lack of showing at Marineford, as well as serenity for himself as him beating Akainu will inadvertently be him protecting Luffy once more.

Luffy's biggest power has been underlined 100x in the manga. It isn't his physical fighting ability, it's his ability to turn almost anyone into an ally. I expect any strong character not named BM or Kaidou and to take Luffy's side. Whether that's Weevil (I believe he'll become good, he's obviously not a bad guy. Just very retarded and manipulated), the Samurai etc... it is of my opinion that all the Supernova will link up once more at Wano and join forces too.
