[Theory] The real reason Uchiha clan was killed

The main dent was 3rd hokage dying.

the 2nd dent would have been gaara attacking the village, but last i checked bijuu are much stronger than ninja.

So saying the shukaku would have destroyed lots doesnt really prove much, other than its stronger than ninja, which we all kind of already know...


Again, for the coup to be successful or damaging to Konoha you need the clan itself to be stronger than Konoha itself minus themselves.

Meaning they have to represent 50%+ of Konohas entire militaristic power, which would be retarded because then there would be no reason for the coup.

The reason they were going ahead with a coup was because they were being ostracised and being pushed down in power and rank, so if anything itd be the other way around.

Theyd kill quite a few Lead Ninja but they would have been dealt with very fast.

Itachi managed to kill the entire clan without amaterasu or susano'o (same as tobi)

so yeah, Itachi and Tobi are super geniuses, but they didn't even use their good techs (we saw no black fire in the clans area when sasuke was running through there, or burnt buildings, or smashed buildings, in fact everything looked intact.

It was a simple feat for Itachi and Madara even without using MS techs.

It seemed clearly like a sneak attack.. Something that the clan didn't had power of reaction..Not that matters because Itachi still would have killed them all even if they had time to react and prepare.​

The coup could have worked, as they were planning a way to remove the senju from power, not destroy konoha. The problem was that it would leave the village in a disorganized state, without any appointed leader or anything, and as such, there would be an opening for an invasion, and then the 4th ninja war. Just a view...

Hes telling sasuke a story hed want to hear to get revenge on danzou, who happens to wield sharingan, which happens to have the ability to inhibit tsukyomi, which is the entire premise and fundamental workings of tobis moon eye plan.

Say Tobi is successful and places everyone under tsukyomi, the people who could resist it somewhat will be Kakashi and Danzou, and anyone else with sharingan, as Itachi pointed out the sharingan can resist MS somewhat.

Tobi needs all sharingan users dead or on his side for the moons eye plan to work.

Pain even said "i should get rid of you or you'll become a problem in the long run"

How could Kakashi become a problem? The only thing i can think of is his sharingan and its resistance properties to tsukyomi.


I mean it doesn't make sense to have Itachi murder the ENTIRE CLAN.

Those who are battle Ninja in the clan who would take part in the coup sure, but Itachi made sure not a single Uchiha was meant to survive, not a SINGLE ONE, even his brother was supposed to be killed.

Why kill innocent women and children? Because them innocent women and children can give birth to sharingan users who could resist the tsukyomi placed upon them.

The massacre wasnt killing the coup makers, it was killing the bloodlimit.

It could also be assumed as assuring that there would be no revenge on konoha. But it really is a great point, as the moon-eye plan can maybe be countered by the uchiha. We can't know what is in kishi's mind xD
