Guys 4 people know the Rasengan. Yondaime Jiraiya and Naruto and Kakashi.
Jiraiya was the 4th's teacher he learned it from him. The 4th invented the tech so no1 before him can know it. Jiraiya tought Naruto the tech. And Kakashi learned it from the 4th when he was the 4th's stundent. So i don`t think annyone else knows how to make a Rasengan. And it cannot be copied since it not uses seals or anything like that. It`s just verry precise chakra control and release. So I do not think that you have Senju acestry because you have Rasengan.

in this theory I was trying to say that Kishi was using SYMBOLISM to show Senju ancestry. the past hokages fall in line with the Hindu chakra system. it's a system that is based on spherical life force energy and each chakra is associated with specific elements. Hashirama, Tobirama, and Tsunade were/are Senju and that is a known stated fact. I was trying to say that Kishi may be revealing to us who else is a Senju by having them wield Rasengan, be ause Rasengan is the actual materialization of the Hindu concept of chakra from the Hindu chakra system.
since all past hokages are assumed to be Senju, and all Senjus have a special engrained life force from Rikudo Sennin, it can be hypothesized that that life force enables Senju to wield Rasengan, because the chakra in Hindu system is spinning spherical life force.

and naruto is the son of the fourth wich is the son of the third, when the fourth died the third resumed hokage, then kohonomaru sarutobi is cousin of naruto which explains asuma/ naruto's wind chakra, asuma is a son of third hokage
the fourth is not the son of the third. you say "but" as if you disagree with what I was saying. I know Rasengan is Minato's technique. never said it wasn't. but I was implying as time passes, knowledge and technology advance. Minato probably having the same life force as the Senjus that came before him, was able to create Rasengan with advanced knowledge, because one of the themes in Naruto is surpassing the old generation. So with this new technique, Minato n Jiraiya are able to pass down this technique to those with the Senju life force (the spinning life force energy sphere).

Tobi said Senju Retained Supremacy.... that doesnt mean that the hokage and people elected to be hokage are senju... not in the least bit... not by blood that is but the senjus ideals there ethics there culture.... yes that has retained supremacy
either way... no one can be certain. tobi's words are vague... you can't just say not in the least bit because it's still possible.
I'd like to add that after saying Senju retained supremacy... he said:
"The Uchiha Clan were nothing more than Senju's dog's"
he was talking about clans. It is quite possible he was saying the Senju Clan retained supremacy, as the Uchiha Clan became their dogs.

Chakra-san I completely support your theory.
When you said Ransegan is symbolic for Senju it do not means all senjus knew rasengan.
It is like Sharingan being attached to Uchihas but all uchihas didnt have sharingan.
Considering Rasengan as one of the most difficlut tech to learn, we can say it needs some special thing in user to learn it....
