In my opinion the reason for his hate of Naruto lies not just in the fact he's only witnessed him making stupid decisions, but the fact that he regards his father as a failure because of the 9 Tails situation, and that Naruto is the embodiment of that hatred, he's the son of the man who was his ultimate Rival, and who he relied on to save the ninja world, Naruto hasn't done that yet..., and the nine tails fox his failure now is within Naruto, so in his opinion he's the embodiment of the "FAILURE" of the man he respected over anyone.

Except, Naruto is actually the embodiment of success of Minato's plan and sacrifice regarding the Kyuubi. Naruto needs to prove that though. I get your point from the Raikage's eyes. Draegod said something similar I believe.

Yea bro I completely agree Naruto's my favorite character all the way, but the Raikage's never seen him in his glory moments like saving the leaf from it's destruction etc. When Naruto hopefully fights him somewhat for real and shows him what he can really do then maybe he will respect him because the Raikage only respects those who are strong.

A' got bee to help narto control the fox in the same place(cloud's island) where bee learned to control the fox. So that rules out his fear of the nine tail fox as future enemy.

The thing about minato, I just wanted to say he thought no one could surpass him and he thought he was the destined child as jiriaya called them that. THere speeds are even what we have seen, but minato would have edge against mode people with his time-space movement as that intaneous movement, totally different from body flicker and the riakage's method of speed.

And finally I actually can see why A is restorting to this, think about it. The alliance doesn't know the extend of madara's power, even us the readers. So it makes no sense to allow naruto or bee enter the war untill some decent intell is gathered. To much is at stake to be showing off right now, and raikage nows this, but not naruto.

So think naruto should reveal some stuff that maybe helpful to the army in the backlines like sensing zetsu's fakes in the army. Mind over muscle guys.
I think that it was an absolute nessecity to have Naruto learn to control the Ninetails. I don't think the Raikage particuraly wanted to do this, but if Tsunade explained to him that it was possible for the Ninetails to get loose if Naruto got to emotional, he would see how nessecary it was to teach Naruto to control it.

As for the rest, I realize that is definitely the smart thing not to let Bee and Naruto go into battle, but the Raikage is taking it a step further than that. If he has the ability to kill Bee and Naruto, he definitely has the ability to simply stop the pair of them. But he already said that he wants to KILL Naruto, even after Bee volunteered his life instead.

I don't think A hates Naruto more than Sasake. If Naruto has the ability to sooth the hate of Kyuubi in the future, could he not also get A to believe. Furthermore does Bee have the ability to change A's view in that he agrees with the Prophecy child( Being Naruto ).

I think A has so much pride, that he is not willing to admit that Minato was not that child, because that would make him less.

A's is definitely not showing for strength, but neither is Naruto( not close ). I think Naruto will use the tailed beast bomb( or at least show it ) proving he is an asset more so than even Bee. That along with the knowledge that his rivals kid can whoop his a**.

Yes he might have some hate for Naruto, but I also believe after this "spar" A's is gonna believe in The Prophet Child.

Was the Raikage involved at all in deciding if Bee would help Naruto master the Kyuubi? I don't remember, but I know Naruto learned via prophecy from the eldest toad that an octopus would help him.

The Raikage said he would kill Naruto over Bee because Bee had mastered the Hachibi and had the TBB mastered as well, and assumed Naruto was less valuable. In my view that's just a justification because he cares too much about Bee and doesn't want to believe in Naruto as he may have in Minato.

I dunno.. It never really said. I'd assume he was somehow involved, as the turtle is property of the hidden cloud. O_O

I don't think that [A] hates Naruto. I just think he doesn't care about him.

And when I say don't care I mean as long as it doesn't effect his village in a negative way [A] could care less what happens to Naruto.

Like someone said, and I think even [A] might have said this "killing two birds with one stone."

I think if I were of [A's] position and mindset, I would do whatever I had to do to Naruto to:
A.) Keep him away from Madara.
B.) Make sure no one had access to his(Kyuubi's) power. (If I could.)
and C.)Try and get the 9 tails for myself.
((If I were myself however I'd rather all the tails be destroyed or sealed))

[A] doesn't want to kill/hurt Bee.
1.) He's literary become his brother.
2.) He's a source of power for his village.

But like he said, he really doesn't want to, but I bet if it meant saving his village he would.

None of these ninja villages are pure. Just like in the real world. You defend your team and think you're side is right. The other team, well guess what? They think that THEY'RE the ones that has the right perspective.

I can't even think of one government on this planet that hasn't done something to harm another people.

[A] to me represents the real world. He's life and he represents the things people will do to protect their own interest.

Then their is Naruto. He represents the "perfect world". All though ironically what is good for one person still isn't ideal to everyone else.

To be perfectly honest I find Naruto himself to be very self-righteous and naive. For me his character becomes increasingly ironic as the story goes on, but I digress...

[A] doesn't hate Naruto. He hates the other part of what Naruto represents.
Naruto was born a weapon of his village(I'm not implying by his parents wishes). He represents a power that could be used against [A] in the future.
This hate to me stems more village to village than as a personal attack.

"Either you stand behind me or you stand beside me. No one is in front of me!"

This is just my opinion that his been shaped by the world around me.
This is what I see and this to me is just the nature of MOST people.
I'd love for the world to be a perfect place though. It just doesn't seem possible in reality or in fiction. I love reading the manga though, it's always like a glimpse into humanity.

I don't nessecarily think Naruto is right. If I were in charge of the army in this situation, I would have both of them killed. .-.

My point was the Raikage hates Naruto BECAUSE he is an endangerment to his village. I mean this in both regards to the fact that Naruto comes accross as an idiot, and because of the Nine Tails power which could cause problems after the great war if there are any conflicts between the cloud and the leaf.

If a threat/outside source/unknown entity becomes powerful enough, people begin directing hatred towards said force. Take the average American and their views on China, for example. .-.

Tell me this though, has bee beong stuborn about going into the war? no. A was surprised he would trade his life for naruto. A' would hestiate from that ultimattum, look at the extremes A' went for blood with sasuke even though he didnt have to loose his arm, he choose to attack sasukw with the black flames and did again even after he knew what the black flames were on his arms.

Also naruto sticking up for sasuke after A' thought sasuke captured his brother doesn't go well with raikage's opinion of naruto aswell. Naruto can't get in the way of these matters in the future. Naruto needs to accept sasuke is a noob and can't jump rings of fire everytime he noobs it up.

do you really belive A' didn't have anything do with this? Don't be naive dude, thats naruto's style
Raikage is basically a black-skinned Naruto. Both of them are idiots, but Naruto is an idiot with more power and being the main character doesn't hurt either >33

Seeing that tailed beast regenerate after a while and easier to capture without a host it may hinder Madara only for a while- all the shinobies being dead already will be pointless.

Madara is going ahead with his plan even without the two, thanks to Raikage's pot and Bee's tail.

Raikage tried to get Hinata and Kushina kidnapped. Tried to get Hiyashi killed. Traded blows with Minato ( I wonder under what circumstances) to kill Naruto at first excuse, got sasuke declared a missing nin fast enough.
Granted he was angry and thought his brother was kidnapped but, would it have made any difference if he knew that Bee had escaped and he himself had targeted KOnoha more than once?

Bee doesn't look any less of a fool at first impression than Naruto though he is much older than him.

Raikage power has gone to his head.

Wrong, Naruto and the "Child of Prophecy" shit has gotten to his head. I liked how Kishi didn't make Naruto seem like a God in his altercation with the Raikage.

1) In all of those situations of capture was because it was war going on.
2) Sasuke should have been made a missing ninja faster.
3) Kumo is stronger than Konoha militia wise.
