[Theory] The Raikage hates Naruto.

So after reading the latest manga, I arrived at the conclusion that A hates Naruto.

Now, I think that there are multiple reasons for this but I'll start with the one that everyone seems to know

The Raikage views Naruto as an idiot. He has said it multiple times. He already thought that Naruto was foolish based on their first meeting, in which Naruto asked him to spare the life of a deadly criminal. I think that his opinion dropped even lower when he heard that this same fool was the jinchuuriki of the Kyuubi. In his mind, Konoha was to blame for his foolishness and the ammount of freedom given to him. It seems rather clear that the Raikage is very strict with what he allows Bee to do, seeing as Bee had to stage his own death to earn some free time away from the village. The Raikage seems to be one of the Kage still leaning towards the way of the old shinobi, and thus hates this new image of shinobi that Naruto and the ninja of Konoha are creating.

Now I'll move on to the next two reasons that I feel less people picked up on.

Naruto is the Raikage's former archrival's son. I think that when the Raikage looks at Naruto, it reminds him of his old rival, the fourth Hokage. He told Naruto that Minato was the only man in the world who was faster than him. At this point I thought that he had a respect for Minato, until he said that he fought against him, and then later said that he was a failure. I'm guessing that Minato won all of the battles that they had with each other. I can't see the Raikage letting Minato escape and live if he were the victor, however, I can see Minato allowing the Raikage to get away. Because of this envy of the fourth, I feel that the Raikage can't stand to look at Naruto, as it reminds him of how he was inferior to the fourth.

And it's time for the last reason.

The Raikage hates that Konoha and Naruto possess the ninetails, which is a step above the eighttailes. This became evident to me when he began to express his desire to kill Naruto. Especially when Bee offered to give his life instead. The Raikage said that Bee was a better tactical investment due to the fact that he could use the Tailed Beast Bomb. However, wouldn't the Nine Tails be a better investment due to it's higher chakra levels? If the Raikage were to kill Naruto and they procede to win the war, wouldn't he have also severely crippled Konoha's military power? I think that the Raikage HATES the possibility of there being a Jinchuuriki that could surpass Bee's level, and wants to eliminate that possibility.

I can think of people I HATE, but I wouldn't fight my brother just to get at him.
And in A's case Bee probably would have proven to be quite the hand full..

I do, but if you recall, the Tsuchikage said he didn't want to because he had remembered what he was like before he got stubborn. This is what I was talking about with the new type of shinobi thing. Many shinobi are beginning to take the more moral path, however, the Raikage hasn't bought into it yet.

I think the reason A if so angry and the way he is towards bee and naruto is because maybe he lost his faith when his rival and the thought child of the prophecy died. So he is willing to do anything to save the world since minato couldn't..

very nice theories... Indeed I think most of them are FACTS.... Just to add some 'spice', we all know that Raikage and his village were the ones who ignored the "disarmament" rule (said by tsuchikage) and seemed that they like to gain more power. That way, they also wanted to surpass all the other villages which means it is really a possibility that he wanted to kill naruto, therefore eliminating the konoha's jinchuriki.... just opinions..

I like this theory & to add to why A might have hated Minato is maybe the Shinobi that where sent to capture Kushina was his friends. & I don't know if this is mentioned in the Manga or not but Minato probably killed them. & that ties back to the theme of the Series that killing becomes a Chain of Hatred.

I have to agree on anything but one thing. Minato was only able to seal HALF of the chakra of the ninetails in Naruto.

Does that mean he's still stronger than the Eight Tails? Who knows.
Bee did say he couldn't handle the 9tails, but that was inside naruto, where he couldn't use his full capacities.

Interesting theory though, kudos.

A' got bee to help narto control the fox in the same place(cloud's island) where bee learned to control the fox. So that rules out his fear of the nine tail fox as future enemy.

The thing about minato, I just wanted to say he thought no one could surpass him and he thought he was the destined child as jiriaya called them that. THere speeds are even what we have seen, but minato would have edge against mode people with his time-space movement as that intaneous movement, totally different from body flicker and the riakage's method of speed.

And finally I actually can see why A is restorting to this, think about it. The alliance doesn't know the extend of madara's power, even us the readers. So it makes no sense to allow naruto or bee enter the war untill some decent intell is gathered. To much is at stake to be showing off right now, and raikage nows this, but not naruto.

So think naruto should reveal some stuff that maybe helpful to the army in the backlines like sensing zetsu's fakes in the army. Mind over muscle guys.

@ Draegod, you might be right, it's a valid view. He may have believed in him and his disappointment turned to resentment as some maladaptation to handle his emotions, which we know he doesn't do a great job of.

I'm wondering if this has to do with the whole Namikaze->Uzumaki name change. Yes, Minato had many enemies; however, the Cloud inflitrated the Leaf at least twice that we know of to kidnap "special" children (Kushina and Hinata), meaning the trend could've continued for Namikaze Naruto who looks just like his father and is the son of Uzumaki Kushina who had the special chakra they so desired in the past. Not to mention that everyone relevant in the village seemed to know he was the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki except for him for 12 years.

If Draegod is right, maybe they would've kidnapped him in the hope that he might complete his father's legacy or being the Kyuubi Jinchuuriki if they knew? Not sure of any of this.
