I can't speak for all of them but i know for certain Naruto was never and will never be centered around Sasuke, that would ruin the entire manga.
Because Sasuke called about the Akatsuki shiz, its obvious its super important, he isn't coming there just for shits and giggles with Sasuke, Naruto would never leave the village for someone as pointless as Sasuke unless it was important.

Even in chapter 700 Sasuke was outside the village doing something cool while naruto was doing boring hokage work. So you agree it's important and Sasuke is obviously playing a big role in this because not only is he a target for akatuski he's leading the charge.

I was talking about narutos personal characterization. He was always chasing after Sasuke for his approval and other things. Naruto the series was succesful only because it revolved around Sasuke for a long time.

Lol one of the 1st chapters was Naruto getting in Sasukes face and giving him a smooch. At vote 1 Naruto said he always wanted Sasukes approval and acknowledgement whenever they went on missions. In the anime Naruto had constant flashbacks about Sasuke in every arc lol gtfo. it was narutos drive since day 1, you denying makes me think you're not even a naruto fan.
The fight scene with onion kid is right after Sasuke goes my impression in chapter 700. Shikamaru even said Sasuke has been going on in missions where technology is impossible to use. quit retracting your statements. It's clear you think boring paper work is cooler than missions.
