Welcome, brothers and sisters, to the Qunari.
Unlike other social groups, the Qunari is not a 'brotherhood' or a 'family' in the sense that we fight and/or die together. Instead, the Qunari is a group focused solely on role-playing, both with or against each other.
The Qunari aim to take the role-play to the next level: a level that not only incorporates interaction and character-development, but a level that attempts to improve the role-play as whole through a slow process of suggestions, trial-and-error and, most importantly, consensus.
As one of the People, you'll be expected to possess a certain level of ability in regards to role-play. I'm not talking about fighting and abilities, I'm talking about the ability to act your character; to become him or her and not take the actions of other characters against yours as a personal attack or compliment. You'll be expected to know your character and to add flaws to your character. You'll be expected to take hits and lose once in a while, but it won't be to hurt you or your reputation.

Yes, there are a good amount of demands and requirements, but the most important thing is the ability to try and keep trying in the face of failure. You're not expected or required to be a native English speaker with impregnable grammar and skills like Ray Bradbury. No, but you are required to try your best. If nothing else, the ability to role-play can help you in everything from acting to keeping a straight face.

So, what's so special about the Qunari? Well, other than being a good place to organize role-plays and discuss/improve your role-play and the role-playing of others, I guess the Qunari is just another Social Group. We take pride in the ability to role-play like actual role-players, but I hope that's a common occurrence.

I'm afraid that Cannon biographies have no place within the Qunari, as they're far to rigid history-wise to be used properly in context with the role-play. If you only have Cannon biogrpahies and really want to join; send me a message and we'll work something out with the Staff.

Most Qunari role-play threads will follow a set of rules that differ slightly, but do not conflict, with the 'normal' rules of the NB role-play. The set looks as such:

-Rules and Restrictions-
You may only use an approved Narutobase Biography to participate in this scenario.
You may not bring any NPC's unless they're stated in your bio, or if you've discussed it with the Qunari Collective.
While you can join without the other participants' consent, you must follow the Rules of Posting:
The Original Poster post first, then another participant posts, then another, then another, etcetera. When all participants have posted once, you start over, following the same order. While there might only be two participants in the beginning, you are still required to follow the order of posting, which means that you DO NOT post until the current round is over. E.g; I post, X posts and only then do you post, meaning that you'll be participant number three.
You must post in this thread at least once per day if you are a participant.
Spam will NOT be tolerated.
You are required to write in third person, past tense.*
You may not use the script style of writing.
Be descriptive.
Do not God-mod in any way. You may give vague descriptions of NPC reactions, but you may not describe another participants reaction or doings in any way.

*This is merely the standard; you may change it at your own leisure.

Character-development is a big focus-point for the Qunari, too. Quirks, family relations, NPC's, etcetera, will all be things you can learn about and develop alongside other role-players of your particular level of skill.

Do you think you have what it takes?
