Watch out for spoilers.
Many people here have at some point wondered what's going to happen to the Donquixote Pirates and their captain, Doflamingo. Most people seem to think he's going to die at some point in the near future, either by Luffy or Kaido's hands. But what if the outcome will be completely different?
"Usoland will save everything, he said so. The toys that are forced to work here every day. Our friends who are treated like slaves in the factory. The toys that look like they're having fun in the city, but inside are weeping. The sad, big humans that don't even realize that they lost their loved ones. Usoland will save everyone... He's a legendary hero!"
For those who've already read the latest chapter, you know where this quote is from. Most of us probably felt really bad for the toys and the people in Dressrosa, especially after this chapter, but were we the only ones? After the Tontatta's emotional speech, it looks like there's someone unexpected who may or may not be showing sympathy for the dwarves, and everyone involved in the current situation.
Yes, Sugar. The look she gives the dwarves can mean many things, but one can't deny that it looks like she's regretting her actions. Maybe she is, maybe she's not. However, what would happen if she actually did feel bad for what she's done? What if it turns out that she never really wanted to turn people into toys in the first place?
That's when I came up with this little theory of mine. What if she betrays the Donquixote Pirates, goes against them in one way or another, and then, in the end, decides to turn them into toys? They'll be forgotten. No more SMILE production, no more war between countries, and no death for Doflamingo. An unexpected turn of events, if I have to say so myself. They have to live their lives the way they made the citizens of Dressrosa live theirs.
