Watch out for spoilers.

Many people here have at some point wondered what's going to happen to the Donquixote Pirates and their captain, Doflamingo. Most people seem to think he's going to die at some point in the near future, either by Luffy or Kaido's hands. But what if the outcome will be completely different?

"Usoland will save everything, he said so. The toys that are forced to work here every day. Our friends who are treated like slaves in the factory. The toys that look like they're having fun in the city, but inside are weeping. The sad, big humans that don't even realize that they lost their loved ones. Usoland will save everyone... He's a legendary hero!"

For those who've already read the latest chapter, you know where this quote is from. Most of us probably felt really bad for the toys and the people in Dressrosa, especially after this chapter, but were we the only ones? After the Tontatta's emotional speech, it looks like there's someone unexpected who may or may not be showing sympathy for the dwarves, and everyone involved in the current situation.

Yes, Sugar. The look she gives the dwarves can mean many things, but one can't deny that it looks like she's regretting her actions. Maybe she is, maybe she's not. However, what would happen if she actually did feel bad for what she's done? What if it turns out that she never really wanted to turn people into toys in the first place?

That's when I came up with this little theory of mine. What if she betrays the Donquixote Pirates, goes against them in one way or another, and then, in the end, decides to turn them into toys? They'll be forgotten. No more SMILE production, no more war between countries, and no death for Doflamingo. An unexpected turn of events, if I have to say so myself. They have to live their lives the way they made the citizens of Dressrosa live theirs.

Ussop to me is the most useless character on the whole crew, damn even when all of them were training and he came back he seemed stronger, less of a lier, and more brave but that guy hasn't change, I really dislike him and for him to do something with Sugar I really doubt it, well that's just a thought and maybe Don Quixote will maybe die at the hand of Law if anything, that's what I think anyways

I've never read one piece. Is it something worth reading?
If you give it a chance and read past the first couple of chapters you'll be hooked. Or at least I was.

I kind of agree. I never really liked Usopp, always thought he was only there for comic relief.
you should ask yourself. is naruto worth reading...
You have to ask yourself, is anything worth reading?

OT: I agree, I saw that panel and just thought: "Maybe she does regret her actions."

Agreed, they should suffer the way they've made Dressrosa-ins suffered for the past 20 years!! Her face shows all the remorse in the world!!! She feels bad, this betrayal needs to happen aha :)

But i highly doubt she could easily touch Doflamingo or his main 3 that easily. Maybe Trebol, because it'd be pretty unexpected. Regardless, i love this idea. I hope Sugar does eventually betray the Donquixote Pirates.

It'd be pretty unexpected for everyone actually. If she turns, for example, Trebol into a toy, then the rest of the Donquixote crew wouldn't remember who their slimy friend is any longer, thus unaware of Sugar's betrayal. Then she could move on to Pica, Diamante, and eventually Doflamingo. Also, considering they're all going to fight sooner or later, they'd be pretty worn out after their battles. I doubt it would be too hard for Sugar to actually turn them all into toys.

Let's say Sugar rebels and makes everyone in the Don family toys... then we will be back to square one where Don family now would want to make Sugar unconscious... there is one way to make here unconscious.. that candy my man...

That's a false statement. They barely have similarities other than Luffy/Naruto being similar to Goku.
He simply meant that One Piece is better. He didn't intend to draw similarities.

I really like that idea! I really like it!

I don't think Sugar will become a Strawhat; even if she betrays the Donquixote Pirates. I think she'll join the Revolutionary Army and work under Sabo.

It's a fantastic ending to the Donquixote story. It would be very interesting seeing everyone forget Doflamingo's existence. It would be funny and confusing at the same time. It would be like he never existed even though we know he did. Dat irony!

Sugar could easily just make a contract with them and order them to stop their evil deeds as pirates, leave the citizens of Dressrosa alone, and never try to harm her.

Maybe, still would like to see her as a SH ^^
I'd love to see her as a new member of the crew, but the possibility of that happening isn't exactly that high. For all we know, she could suddenly just disappear in the in the end of the arc, or maybe she'll join the revolutionary, or maybe she'll even die. That last one is less likely than her joining the crew, though, but we never know.

Do you know what would be more ironic? If Doflamingo turns into one of those toys with strings attached to their arms, legs, and back.

I wouldn't say it is too unlikely. Picture the final way Sugar with a bunch of followers, like a WB division commander XD

I agree her abilities are useful and Op.

We need this. Oda, we really need this. Just imagine; thousands of enemies look up at the Sunny, intimidated by the flag of the Strawhat pirates. The only person who's looking down on them is a little girl, Sugar. First they laugh, but the cold look she gives them makes them even more scared.
