I agree,Orochimaru is the only character that is just plain evil.There's no good will driving his actions because they are all driven by selfishness.

I think I get what you're trying to say.

Oro is the only villain who doesn't have a higher purpose or greater good that he fights for, nor does he do things out of bloodthirst, hatred, or impulse. He merely does everything for the best interest of his goals, seemingly purely out of self fulfillment.

So yea, Orochimaru is probably the only character in Naruto who has such basic, barebone, and uninfluenced villainy.

I still wouldn't excuse Danzo or Madara as "not true villains," as I think either of them might be more evil than Orochimaru Lol
