I don't think that the jin corpses are edo, just dead bodies like nagato used. Tobi probably saved their bodies just for this after extracting their beasts. I haven't seen any of them speak for themselves, or show any personality at all like the edo's do.

Hay guys, been a reader for a long time, just never posted so its my first time.

This theory has had me thinking of what the 8 tails said to the 9 tails few issues back, about the 1 tail always hated the 9 tails because he thinks the more tails the more powerful you are.

Im not sure on the exact issue, but i think the 8 tails mentioned its not the number of tails you have that makes you powerful.

So maybe the 1 tails has something that the 9 tails doesn't, sort like the other end of the spectrum of tailed beasts.

So maybe tobi is saving the 1 tails for the 9 tails cause he knows that the 1 tail has something against the 9 tails?

Anyone just something i thought of while back when i read that issue.

true. that kabuto resurrected all the 6 previous jinchurikis. But we've also seen that if you kill an edo tensei resurrection, they just regenerate their bodies and start fighting all over again, and not just the bodies, entire chakra is regenerated..

But when the 4tails got freed by naruto and the gedo statue sucked the biju back into it.. (like a meatball {manga 570- pg 7}) the previous jinchuriki's body just lingers around.. lying flat and dead.. which is very unlike an edo tensei.. coz normally, they regenerate and start to beat the shit out of ppl.. immediately..

so whether or not this is just an edo tensei or soemething even more bizzare whipped up by kishi remains to be seen..

Eh, basically the reason he only has six is plot no-jutsu. I mean since Kabuto revived 6 jins, it makes sense that Tobi use those six jins, keep the jins consistent with their past beasts and leave it at that. I guess he could have put one tails chakra in another edo and Kin-Gin 9 tails chakra in another, but then we'd be saying: "wtf! they weren't jins"!

So ya, its basically because of the plot that he holds six, not because the rinnegan is limited to six or he is limited to controlling six or anything.

You sir have a good theory. Makes the most sense of them all. However I have another theory. Perhaps he sealed the Shikaku inside of himself (Tobi) so he would have the extra chakra to control the tailed beasts. Gotta take a lot out of a guy to walk dogs as big as those eh? Ya gotta need some body (or something) to leen on!

but killing oneself during the extraction to achieve your goal of fusing them together seems like a really foolish idea

1. all jinchurikis were brought back with edo so all bijju have there hosts except shukaku because gaara is not dead
2. son goku is no longer active because naruto removed the chakra rod which let tobi control him.
