[Theory] The one being who knew the SO6P

Ok so it is common knowledge that the Sage of 6 Paths lived long before any human in the series, but this would make no sense what so ever. If he really did live so long ago and the only one who knows anything about him is Madara then how is it going to play into the story at all?

So i was thinking it never really said how long ago the sage lived just that he created the ninja world and stopped the ten tail beast. To do this would take unimaginable power more then that which merely the Rinnengan posses.

This brings me to my point going on the assumption that the entire SAGE thing in his name actually has meaning i believe that the Great Toad Sage was his summon. i know there is no evidence for this but it would make sense. The Great Toad Sage being kind of senile may not remember or may be waiting till the time is right to divulge his knowledge and it would be the perfect source for reliable info on the mysterious SO6P

the eight and nine tails would know about SO6P, as they were created because of him, and of Madara too, as he lived after SO6P, and Madara even took over Kyuubi, giving Kyuubi a reason to hate Madara and possibly even team up with Naruto and Bee and the eight tails to kill him.

The beasts were created by him on his death bed so they would have no first hand experience with him and i said that Madara knows alot about him but i doubt he will just show up and fill in the alliance to explain to them his secrets and powers

Possibly, I think the sage was simply a godlike/ Messiahlike figure, born with insane chakra yields, and the rinnegan, his pacifistic ideals also helped his knowledge.

Remember he probably didn't abuse himself like Nagato did, and so didn't shorten his life, and got to learn the secrets of "ninshu", mabye the GTS helped him with this? Who knows, good theory however, pretty plausible, but then again anything on the SO6P can be! xd

I think the Great Elder sage toad will help naruto answering about the SO6P. He foretold most of jiraya and naruto's Prophecies. The gread toad sage elder seems to be the type that writer can say anything about and get away with it.
Good Theory. You are right! But, I think Kyubbi will know alot of about SO6P's.

@Rambo: No no no everyone knows OF the SO6P not about him i mean even Jiraiya knew him as merely a myth, a very strong being. This gives us absolutely no info into him, yeh he had the rinnengan but besides for that he's a complete mystery.

I like this theory. I too thought there was some connection between GTS and SO6P.

I think there are two options :

1)Great Toad Sage forseen that SO6P would be the prophecy child/messiah/saviour of the world. He found him and teached him about ninjutsu, chakras and everything else so he could defeat 10tails and protect the world.

2)Great Toad Sage was a summon of SO6P, he learned ninjutsu from him.
After SO6Ps death he created his own toad kingdom at the mount myuboku, where toads practiced the ways of ninjutsu and so on

Either way, toads have some connection to SO6P. You know, those horns of SO6P could be similiar to Jirayas headband horns, just a bit more pointy

Edit: It would be badass if SO6P would suddenly appear out of nowhere, standing on the Great Toad Sage infront of Juubi. Just like Minato did when he fought kyuubi.

Yeah, and the reason why SO6P is a mystery, is because GTS has memory loss.

Besides, Jiraya was one of the ppl who knew about SO6P. He could have learned that from toads.

And look what happened when a little bit of info leaked to a guy like Madara/Tobi. He read a bedtime story and now he's planning on world domination.

well madara found out about the reality of the So6P by reading the Uchia stone tablets passed down from generations. he needed however the rinnegan to read it all. anyways I do believe that the GTS could be a summon of the So6P, but i think its more probable that he was a summon of the second "son" of the Sage since the toads are only blessed with the sage body and not eyes. makes fairly sense, but who knows.

"Blessed with sage body"; So the SO6P practised beastiality, LOLwut?

I think the Senju son may have taught them the techniques, but they couldn't aquire the techniques of the Uchiha anyways.
