lol, this becoming a repeat of events. Pain basically killed a lot of people but at the end, he ended up resurrecting them. It seems that obito has the ability to revive madara however, obito will eventually come back to the good side after naruto shows him wrong. After naruto shows obito that there is hope after all in the shinobi world.

After this, before obito dies, he will revive all the people he killed or were killed. He will not use the revival technique on madara.

he had no more role to play in the series , to develop hinatas character a bit more .... & to make naruto feel pain about killing his friends

This, every character has a purpose and Naruto's is death of the ones closest to him, J-man remember.

perhaps we will see a Hyuga powerup

I fail to see how this would make Naruto and Hinata get closer. If anything, it would create development potential for Hinata, not NaruHina.

i don't know if its the fanboy in me speaking, but it think Neji, in some weird way, would be revived.. now, without the seal that marks him as a member of the branch family.. i don't know.. for now, RIP Neji..

Usually I wouldn't like another rinne tensei jutsu..but for neji. I wouldn't mind. Then again...it would make his death irrelevant. and that chapter would be a waste of time

It's odd, there are a lot of characters that I've wanted to die, and I never realized it kinda hits me when they do. I know they're just characters but I've been with this series since i was a little kid, it's really sad to see that happen

Another case of foreshadowing people overlooked. Back in the exams the tale of Neji's curse mark and his father's death. Then he got close to Hinata over time and was straining himself during the war. Kishi has been building up to Neji's death for a while. i'm sick of the comments where people say this was a random ass pull because it wasn't.

This was a beautiful death.

I thought the brand was a green cross, not a swastika?

All the same, after he became less of a douche he was an awesome character, always wanted him and Shikamaru to fight, one tactical mastermind against another.

It's a good death though, I'd have hated for his death to have been a weak one.

The swastika was chages to a cross in the anime because SOMEBODY "Cough" Hitler "Cough" ruined that symbol for everybody.
