To Stand Out, Above the Crowd!

The Golden Sabbath spent the first few months of their existence pursued and villainized by the Ashikaga shogunate. They held their tongues and bided their time waiting and watching for their chance to strike. Landing a resounding blow in both the Battle of Shinramoto and the Razing of Degarashan they chased away any hope the Shogun had of reclaiming the former glory of the Freehold. However, as the Shogun fled east, his tail between his legs, and embarrassment in his defeat, the Golden Sabbath chose to once again pounce upon a wounded foe. Knowing the Shogun was weak, and that he and the remainder of his funds, warships, and armies fled east to a mysterious land dubbed Tobusekai it was only a matter of time before they followed to take everything from the men who tried to stop them before they began.
A party of shinobi, under the banner of Tsumigakure lead by the respective kage of the newly found village, tracked the warships across the sea from the Tea Peninsula to a tiny cluster of land deemed the Lost Shores. Together, they found resources forsaken, warships left behind by the Shogun as he limped away to safety ditching any remaining semblance of honor or pride he may have had. Tsumigakure took this opportunity to make another loud, and bold message to the Shogun who wanted to break them. "What is ours, is ours and what was yours, is ours."
Together they seized the massive war vessels in the Lost Shores, a pivotal member of the village building a harbor and a port in one day proving how fast Tsumigakure could work under pressure. Quickly they used the newly acquired warships to begin to extract wealth, income, and resources from the East. They sent home anything of value and even obtained influential information.

Even If We Gotta Shout Out Loud!

That same party of shinobi began to claim various lands in Tobusekai changing the face of the world to better reflect their position above the fallen Ashikaga. They were quick to snag several points of interest, the Lost Shores, the Dead Marshes, Fist of the First Men, the Port of Innovus, Temptest Mount, the Clefts of Targinar, and even the Battlements a stronghold held by the Mother Cult fell before the expansion of Tsumigakure into Tobusekai.
The colonial income poured forth, as they continued to explore this brave new world, finding their footing and continuing with exactly what they stated upon their first meager steps into the vast Ninja World under the name of the Golden Sabbath. They took what belonged to them, and they made it wholly their own. With time, unable to pick up on the tracks of the Shogun they decided to smear his name, as he had done theirs oh so many months ago.
They used those same pillaged ships and began to do terrible deeds in the name of the Ashikaga Shogunate placing a once proud, noble household into infamy and disgrace. They resorted to piracy to make their message even clearer attacking a Witchwood trade vessel, bellowing loud and proud how they worked for the Shogun.
In earnest the story was told, these actions must be just another in a long list of atrocities the Ashikaga Shogunate would commit. In disguise using the same crests, the Shogun left upon his war-ships Tsumigakure sunk trading vessels on the wide open ocean in the name of the Shogun, turning a watching world against him even further. The narrative of mistrust and dishonor spread like wildfire slandering the gospel of the Freehold that had been built up over numerous years of complacency and debt.

Til Mine is the Only Face You See!

Their deeds abroad were just a drop in the bucket compared to their accomplishments on the home-front. Somehow they continued to expand deeper into the Badlands of Earth, pushing outward and rushing to clutch what few scraps of land they had left. After a disaster in their main capital, several skilled shinobi rearranged the pieces of a broken home. They built a bigger, stronger, and more in-depth foundation from the rubble of what was lost. The Motoi Drylands and the Uchiha who now called it their home had begun the process of building up lasting and strong trade relations with Tsumigakure offering their support for protection and aid. This gave the Graveyard of Sin a direct path to the East.
It gave them a seaport with which to dock the massive warships and to begin the trading process. It made Tsumigakure rich and prosperous, even more so than before. The Graveyard of Sin lead to the Motoi Drylands and via sea the Motoi Drylands lead directly to the Lost Shores. This meant that Tsumigakure now had a naval fleet, and could trade over the sea. Land travel was a cumbersome and tedious thing, but the sea opened up a literal ocean of possibilities. The village was active, with so many individuals building toward a singular goal. A name, a home, and a place above all else.
It seemed they had various leaders, doing multiple things in several places. It made them seem larger and more robust. A healthy home-front and a powerful hold over diverse lands in Tobusekai? It could only mean they had authority and rumors of their actions would spread throughout the world. Reaching the Marketplaces, the gossip spread, how could a man like Takauji Ashikaga-... lose? Was the Freehold truly and resolutely over? Only time would tell, but hey-... if they could do it, why haven't you?

Geets uses 3 cans of spray paint, taging the post the noticeboard is attached to just under his Kage's post so he doesn't mess that up. When he's finished, he puts the cans back away and slinks back off into the darkness. The message said it all, and even told whoever wanted to know who was brazen enough to boast such claims..

Dawn of the Next Generation
Although Nana has protected her village and served the people as much as she can, every leader knows when it is time to pass the mantle. After convening with the council and the elders, it is time for new blood to take the title and the leadership of Korikage of Shimogakure. Nana will still continie to serve and protect Shimogakure as well as serving as an aid to the Kage, however passing on the title to Genos.
This message is sent through all of the world including all known villages. The hopes that he will be received and accepted as the new leader which will not lessen the relationships nor the position that Shimogakure held within the other villages.

[OOC]Officially, this is myself passing on the title of kage for shimogakure to The Pervy Sage effective at the start of the next arc.

A New, Humanity! As told by Tsumigakure.

Are you lost?
In your lies?
Do you tell yourself "I don't realize?"

Your crusade's a disguise.
Replaced freedom with fear.
You've traded money for lives.
I'm aware of what you've done!

No, no more sorrow!
I've paid for your mistakes
Your time is borrowed
Your time has come to be replaced!

I see pain!
I see need!
I see liars and thieves!
Abused power with greed!
I had hope.
I believed.
But I'm beginning to think that I've been deceived.
You will pay for what you've done!

Your time has come to be replaced!
Your time has come to be erased!

- Sado Yasutora, the Demon of the Badlands
No More Sorrow

Tell us, do you know the other villages? What are the names of their shinobi? What have they done for you, or for the world? You don't know? Good. Over the last year and some change, Tsumigakure has flourished in many ways but not without their growing pains. Throughout their time, they seemed to make a promise to the world, expanding their hold even across the sea to the vast untamed lands of Tobusekai. Their messages were many, and they were loud, bold, and screamed of a nearly irrevocable declaration to take out and disband both Takauji Ashikaga, the Shogun who tried to march forth upon the world with legs crippled by the Golden Sabbath and the very same Mother Cult that aided and abetted him.
With time they got their chance to do just that, and not only that prove to the world that they were an honor-bound lot that held firm to their guarantees and words no matter how lavish and megalomaniacal they may come off to the rest of the world. When they said they would accomplish a heroic and valourous deed, they meant it, and nothing in this world, especially a crippled, fallen pawn such as Takauji Ashikaga would stop them from achieving everything their hearts desired.
You see dear reader, the Fallen Shogun, was a man who had everything taken from him, not once, but twice. A prominent commander who had watched his home burn at the maw of the Nine-Tailed Fox, and most of all saw his name gradually dwindle from nobility to squalor would in time give himself over to Tiamat the enigmatic and timeless Mother of Beasts. He would trade his mind, body, and soul for the power needed to defeat the expanding empire that was Tsumigakure on its rise. He gave everything he was, and everything he could become over in exchange for the slight chance that he could get the just desserts that he felt belonged to him via his birthright. He'd soon learn leaders aren't born, they're forged in fire, and flame, and turmoil.
Empowered with the Mother's Love, the command of her cult of lies, and Sea of Life, the Fallen Shogun would lash out at the Haunted Forest, an orbiting satellite state of the proud Village Hidden in Sin using his previous abilities augmented significantly by the power of the Mother to annihilate a land of commoners, merchants, men, women, and children.
Most likely feeling justified in his actions he continued to glass several city-states making his way toward the capital, the Graveyard of Sin. Leaving nothing behind, but the few stragglers who had enough strength, or luck to survive the onslaught, leaving little more than dust, ash, and destruction in his wake. We can only speculate at what went through his mind, as he slaughtered countless innocents, because as you'll see later the Fallen Shogun paid for his misdeeds at the hands of the only foes bold enough to step forth to oppose.

We stand at the end of the world. You are the chosen protectors! Now come, protect everything you care for!
- Takauji Ashikaga, the Fallen Shogun
You dumb bastard, this is Tsumigakure. Our entire lives we've been struggling. So we don't need an introduction from the likes of you because when we get knocked down-... EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US GETS THE **** BACK UP AGAIN!
- Sado Yasutora;
- the Goliath Barbarian!
- the Demon of the Badlands!
- the Monster of the Tea Peninsula!
- the First Tsumikage!
- the Shogun-Slayer!
- the Motherfucker that Saved the World!
The Greatest Show

The difference between Takauji Ashikaga and Sado Yasutora had to be plain to see, to anyone who had watched the world flow since the start of it all. Sado knocked on the Shogun's front door, Degarashan in the heart of his empire, he landed a crippling blow with the Razing of Degarashan. Surgical precision, hitting the capital, and the capital only, minimizing the effect such a military incursion would have on the common people.
Whereas the Fallen Shogun even empowered exponentially by the Mother Cult and with unimaginable abilities, Takauji he crawled through the window, like a common bandit, or a thief in the night. He threatened Tsumigakure not face to face, to their strongest but through a satellite state, trying to take the Village Hidden in Sin by surprize using the common folk to exact his revenge by taking the lives of many innocents but even with such a cowardly deed, Tsumigakure stood resolute against him.
The first altercation at the Howling Plains lasted three-full days, a battle that lasted long beyond the normal limitations of any human being. Sado Yasutora, the Goliath Barbarian, fought on his own, propping up his entire nation on his back knowing that their fate rested behind him. If he were to fall, they would fall. If he were to die, there would be no one fast enough to stop the rampaging Fallen Shogun. So with everything he had each drop of blood in his body, every ounce of stamina, fortitude, or will Sado fought against a malformed beast. An acolyte of the Mother of Beasts, a once-proud warrior, a strategic genius, turned into a thoughtless lap-dog. A creature that felt no pain, that carried with it limitless power, it would seem that through his pact with the Mother Cult, Takauji had got just what he wanted. The power of a god, but Sado, and his allies would eventually prove that even a god can be killed. Sado had fought, and fought, and fought, each blow he landed taking away a fraction of the Fallen Shogun's vigor and power.
It was never his goal to completely overwhelm the Shogun, and defeat him there. He could see that he wasn't strong enough as a mortal to stand against whatever augmentations Takauji underwent. However, he knew without a shadow of a doubt he could last until his allies made it to them. So the goliath barbarian alone, and exhausted he pushed, and he pushed, and he landed blow after blow avoiding strikes from the Shogun that would smite any human slow enough to be struck by it in one fell-swoop holding out for that singular moment when he could rest. It would either be the rest that came with his allies' arrival or the rest that came from the sweet, loving embrace of death but either way, the Demon of the Badlands, Sado Yasutora would find what he was looking for.
Eventually, his rest would come in the form of several of his allies Vegeta, Skarlet, and Desmond arriving to aid and defend him. The world would one day know their names and more than that they would remember them because they were the few who stood against damnation while the rest pissed their pants, and hid away blaming their absence on being too busy to avert the apocalypse. For two more days, with the aid of his allies Sado fought, well, he tried. You see, Sado isn't the main hero here, the heroes are those allies who stood at his side. Those brave men and women who threw their lives up to chance. They risked everything they were and everything they could be to protect not only Tsumigakure but the entire world, because if you think for one second the Fallen Shogun would have stopped with Tsumigakure, well you're lying to yourself.
So, together in one powerful combination, they each threw what they had, two immeasurable blasts of strange green energy from Desmond and a flurry of prideful fire and fury from Vegeta. I guess if you want to know the full unabridged story, Sado was worn out and in that moment of valor and courage could only offer up a soundtrack and some extra empowerment via his superior chakra control to his fearless allies. He was left to watch the nation he had built stand up to protect him in his weakest moment.
With his death, the Fallen Shogun would herald the entrance of someone stronger, in earnest, he was nothing but a hypeman for something darker and much more primitive. A threat to the world as a whole and not just Tsumigakire. Tiamat, the Mother of Beasts a long-forgotten relic of the east another name the entire world would learn of and would grow to fear, respect and abhor. A beast.
This hand of ours glows with an awesome power! Its loud roar tells us to defeat you! Take this! Our love! Our anger!
- Doombringer, a clone of Sado Yasutora.
And all of our sorrow! DIE YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!
- Desmond Miles, aka, Grenth the Spirit of the Haunted Forest.

The Resistance

Until this point, with each word read, you've been reading the story of Tsumigakure, our story, as we see it. Well, here's your story for a change, you've listened to ours for nearly two years now. You each stood, and you watched petrified, with fear, or with greed, or with envy, as the Mother of Beasts appeared on the wide-open Hokubu Ocean. That bright light signaled out to us all that she needed to be defeated, yet you chose wrong. You let her shackles wane and deteriorate each sparkle of light dripping down to touch the water along with that black ichor that oozed from her body like a growing void threatening to warp and twist the world around it.
All while the real heroes tried to gasp for air, and get their heads above the rising tide that threatened their lands, you watched the pollution spread, and destroy, altering the wild-life. You stopped others from saving the world and stopping her either in fear of what she might do to you, or in greed for what she might give to you. If you only bowed your head deep enough and long enough to appease her what gifts she'd give to you. So you submitted to the new world order ready to be stepped on, dominated and give your allegiance to your new Queen of Beasts.
You let her bindings break, and you let her walk away but before leaving she showed you all of her appreciation by attacking you, and proving that all of your waiting, primping, preening boasting and roasting were for naught. She didn't offer you the power you so arrogantly believed was yours, instead, she screamed, lashing out at all of you. You wasted your time, hers, and most of all ours.
That is true for most of you, you few were the middle ground though. Some gave their mind, body, and soul over to her, hoping to grasp at the slightest glimmers of might she had. They became vessels for her Sea of Life, shadows of their former selves, twisted, mangled, malformed and stillborn creatures. Those humans and you few, your names should be stricken from history, because, this isn't your story. Your deeds don't deserve recording, but, they're here because some need infamy, not fame.
Though there were a few who risked what they were to protect the world. Those noble, individuals deserve to be celebrated alongside Tsumigakure. Their names should be remembered as should ours. A few members of the fledgling nation Shimogakure, their mightiest fell before them, their previous Kage becoming a puppet, yet they steadfast in the face of turmoil. They fought against their own, and the Mother of Beasts proving that their loyalty lied with the other humans. Next, we must remember the Rising Cloud, a tiny clan, hailing from the Lightning Mountains.
They proved, like the others mentioned above that they would put aside their petty differences, they would work alongside those who they may have called enemies in the past knowing that right here right now, in the face of calamity they had few enemies only the Mother Cult and their goddess Tiamat. They entered the fray before Tsumigakure, commendable.

Let's get back to the good part, Tsumigakure was licking their wounds after their victory before the once mighty and powerful Fallen Shogun. They each split and tried to fix things in their ways. Sado sought out survivors, first from the Haunted Forest than from any of the other glassed landmarks. He healed who he was able to, even giving up his bone, blood, and flesh to those so gravely wounded they may never wake from their comatose state. He alongside his clones roused his people, then settled them, and before he could regather his allies, and set out to fight the Mother of Beast he had to deal with someone else. A Jinchuriki decided that now, here, at the end of the world was it's time to make a stand, and prove itself against Sado Yasutora the Shogun Slayer. The holder of the Three-Tailed Turtle would lash out at the remaining lands hitting empty unoccupied landmarks as it made its way to the capital. Finally arriving, Sado was the only one there to stop it.
Once more, Sado had to throw himself into a fight he didn't ask for, to fight a being he didn't rightly know to protect the nation he had built. He hadn't gotten sleep, so, to offset this he took a medical-based stimulant allowing him to push through the pain, that addled his entire body and fight the Jinchuriki. It wasted no time, as it didn't speak, merely transforming into it's final, true form. Anyone else may have fallen before it, but somehow, either by luck-... or by skill. Sado Yasutora, the Demon of the Badlands stood before the beast, and alongside his clones landed three decisive blows rendering the beast unconscious. In that fight it struck him, as with each passing second he looked to the sky noticing that the light over the Hokubu wasn't fading away.
He had to gather his allies, and they had to defend the world because something wasn't right, the others, the other humans of the various clans and villages they weren't stopping it. They weren't standing against the apocalypse. So, rallying his most trusted allies he found Vegeta, and Desmond, and left Skarlet to deal with what remained of the Jinchuriki as they set off toward the Hokubu.

There they all were the resistance at the end of the world and they were desperately ready to sacrifice everything they were to save the home they had built themselves. They joined their allies that were already there, Vayne, and Shady and together Tsumigakure began to resist the Mother Cult and Tiamat. Through the years of suffering, and sin, the countless battles won, and the world, changing to reflect what they wanted. They were the only village trusted enough to protect the world, the only village that made their name known and challenged not only the Ashikaga Shogunate but the Mother Cult, and the Necromancers. Anywhere there was action, they were there placing their banner, and claiming it all. Ashikaga's Gambit, the formation of the other factions, the Battle of Shinramoto, the Razing of Degarashan, and then Tobusekai. Now they had to face the apocalypse because no one else was brave enough.
The Monster of the Tea Peninsula found himself leading the charge, as he laid his eyes upon the Mother of Beasts he knew that the only thing he could do was fight even if it meant his own downfall. He had to help those around him, even those he may have called an enemy in the past. He had to empower them both in mind and body and he had to prove to them that they could fight like him giving everything they had. He bolstered his ally Desmond as the man, alongside his clones formed several massive empowered beams of chakra and force. Sado used his clones as well relying on them to aid by using the Yin natured energy they were learning to harness to attack and distract the Mother. The Hands of Sloth tore into the Mother as all of the other individuals there lashed out with their own techniques. With a bellowing screech, the Mother called upon her mysterious abilities subconsciously harming those around her with her mere presence. The others, the ones not from Tsumigakure fought, just as hard, two of them using gravity-based abilities to push away the Mother's onslaught of fury alongside Desmond who did the same via his Tensaigan-based abilities.
Sado called out to them explaining what he had seen with the Fallen Shogun and how they could possibly harm the Mother of Beasts. Everyone was affected by the strange trance the Mother had put them in, Sado had one choice, to use the Yang energy he had trained with to free their minds from the influence of the Mother before she could take control of them completely. He broke the tethers created by the Amino-Geis, and healed the restraints on their minds hopefully allowing them to continue fighting, he was helped by other Yang users who did similar things one from Shimogakure. With one more push, it seemed they had defeated her as she fell into the Sea of Life that had been pooling below her.
However, instead of falling to her death she was able to use the energies and the mutagenic properties of the Sea of Life to both heal her body and contort her form to another more monstrous and grotesque one. She managed to make it to the mainland as she tore through everything and anyone in her path. During this time Vegeta fought off a nameless individual who had given themselves over to the Sea of Life becoming a pawn and a puppet to the Mother of Beast's caustic influence.

I know what you're asking; "Well, how does the story end!?" You'll just have to wait and see.

The Sacrifice of Sin
The Sacrifice of Sin is a temporary holiday or event only celebrated by the Village Hidden in Sin using their vast treasury obtained through Tobusekai, and the Colonial Income obtained via the Eastern Continent to bankroll the extravagant event. Inspired by the similar and much more well-known holiday, Conqueror's End, the Sacrifice of Sin is something wholly their own. The Sacrifice of Sin is scheduled to run alongside the next arc.

In short, it is an arc-long time of remembrance and reverence for those villagers, shinobi, or lands lost to Takauji Ashikaga, the Fallen Shogun, and the further destruction wrought upon the outside world by Tiamat the Mother of Beasts. Inversely it is also a time of celebration and solace in the fact that with the aid of others Tsumigakure averted a near-apocalyptic calamity. The entire village is decorated with banners, honoring the brave shinobi that stood up, even those who didn't reside in Tsumigakure.

Any NPC found in Tsumigakure will be happy to celebrate alongside those valiant warriors that protected them offering free food, drink, and commemoration opening their businesses and homes to each other in a time of need. As to not cause an economic loss, everyone is compensated for their work including the common folk. They will even include and celebrate with shinobi, and merchants as long as they act with no hostility, providing a modicum of stability to those displaced by either the Shogun or Tiamat.

During the arc, members of Tsumigakure can partake in various bounties, missions, or objectives to build, rebuild or improve the village as a whole while being compensated via Colonial Income for their sacrifice of time, effort, blood, sweat and toil. Alternatively, there are still Children of Tiamat roaming the world in various forms. Be they the normal humans and common folk involuntarily altered by the Sea of Life, shinobi who have willingly given their mind, body and soul over to the twisting Sea of Life or animals inadvertently affected by it, for example, aquatic life in the Gaikotsu Bay or the Aisu Bay that have migrated from the Hokubu. Bounties to seek out these abominations and lay them to rest will be many, and arduous some of them being repeatable.

Current bounties for the Sacrifice of Sin are as follows:

War Were Declared.

Important information has spread all across Shimogakure, Tsumigakure, Taniagakure, the surrounding oceans and adjacent lands.
Resistance states must reclaim their land or defeat the rivaling village's invasion in order to not be forced into submission.
Shimogakure is under attack and has been reduced to a resistance state. If someone does not stand and fight, they must submit.

On top of these events the Tsumikage has placed a bounty on the Korikage.

Kiko Island
Information known to the World: An island home to a number of small, almost tribal ninja clans, who have lived in isolation for countless generations. Pirates used to consider it a small vacation resort, however since the Sea of Life epidemic that struck world. That small island has yet to be tempered with, local attempts of varying pirates and the alike have failed to loot the island, as how it used to be in the previous years. Since many that have attempted have never prevailed since, they're claiming Shaolin Monks of that Island aren't be messed with. Not much is known of what happens on that Island as its information on any known leaders is hard to attain, given only visitors are the people that arrive and leave with the information.

Update 13: Cursed Revenge
As the Tiamat arc fully wraps up, it is time for the next arc to begin. With that said, this next arc will have ties that bleed over into subsequent arcs. After the defeat of Tiamat and the creations spawned from her, the remains began to poison the land and spread rapidly, infecting everyone. Normal citizens have began to die in significant amount while the average ninja has yet to show symptoms. Those who directly combat Tiamat, however. Have been impacted the most. As the virus grew to be more concentrated and have the worst impact in the Hokubu Ocean, those who visited there recently of have made contact with Tiamat has caused all of those who met her to develop severe side effects, mirroring those of the Red Fever, suggesting it wasn't just an influenza strain years ago and could have been much more.

Qhile every ninja has the virus now, only those who fought Tiamat or have recently crossed the Hokubu Ocean are noted to have Severe Cases and have weakened health and dull senses and be extremely contagious. The Virus shows up as a virus that causes them to move at a max of 2x their base speed and track up to 4 times their speed max. This also reduces their health and chakra by 25%. As a severe chakra strain, it also prevents those affected by it to be incurable by any known methods, including Yang or other healing based abilities. These effects can pass to anyone who touches someone infected, causing 8 posts before the sickness worsens to this state and they too become contagious.

While these conditions seem harsh, they aren't the entirely of the Arc; new tournaments and events will arise gifting opportunities to compete for various prizes unique to the Ninja World. For roleplayers, it also offers a set of time limited objectives, activities, and rewards. New story elements will become available, featuring an assortment of themed missions and objectives. The arc will also offer a chance to obtain arc-limited artifacts, themed after the event. These will not be obtainable outside of Arc 13, making them much more unique than any other artifact available. The event also offers a set of rewards for various activities that reward Kumi to participants.

The Storyboard

Like with previous arcs, Cursed Revenge will feature a number of unique storyboard elements for the event. The elements made available during the prelude will no longer be available for use, but will be replaced with this set. Missions that involve Cursed Revenge's story elements will be awarded with an additional 25% Kumi and Ryo, as well as twice the chance to gain an You are allowed to mix regular storyboard elements in with Cursed Revenge's elements. In addition to the usage of regular story elements, you are allowed to create custom Cursed Revenge storyboard elements. These elements must be themed toward the event. The rewards are broken down below:

D-Rank: 312 Kumi & 312 Ryo
C-Rank: 562 Kumi & 562 Ryo
B-Rank: 812 Kumi & 812 Ryo
A-Rank: 1,250 Kumi & 1,250 Ryo

Special Classifications: S-Class Bounty, PvP Bounty, Special Mission
Name(s): DIO, Daenerys, Hei, Medusa, Menma, Vayne, Sin, Nana, Hakuryuu, Astra, Hokusai, Sado, Vegeta, Desmond, Banri, Orochimaru (Solf), and Kotetsu. Also Severe Cases of Red Fever
Orders: Capture and Deliver Alive to Dark Tower
Wanted For: Spread of Red Fever
Bounty: The initial reward for delivering a live Severely Infected Ninja is 2,000 Ryo, including any who have traveled to Hokubu lately. Those who capture their targets and subdue them without battle are to be rewarded with an additional 1,500 Ryo. Named Targets will award an additional 1,000 Kumi.
Special Info: After several trained Scientists to the Hokubu ocean over the course of months following Tiamat'a defeat, traces of a rare strain of Red Fever was found within the Sea of Life flooded ocean. These samples taken suggested that perhaps the disease that crippled nations hundreds of years ago may not have been as simple as once expected. The scientists, all working for one named Oisha, have discovered the virus stemmed from the conflict with the Mother of Creation, Tiamat, and those who battled her with the first to show symptoms of it. With the information of who was there known to Oisha, he has determined these ninja to be a threat to the world's safety and called for them to be bought to him for questioning and more.

These Ninja, despite being infected, are considered very dangerous and as such, care should be taken to avoid direct contact with them. Becoming infected will only mean one more bounty to be collected - Yours.

This Bounty can be found out about from various Marketplaces in the Western World. Those who fought Tiamat are known amongst the Ninja World as saviors, these are the few Ninja universally known to all. In addition to this, all of those with Severe Cases have extremely reddened skin that is easily identifiable due to the deep red skin they will have.

Tsumigakure. I want to tell you. If you don't find a cure, if you don't fix this-... your shinobi are going to die. Your family is going to die. Everyone is going to die, but before all of that if you don't do this you're gonna die, and you're better than that. You're better than the rest of the world, better than Shimogakure, better than Taniagakure, better than those clans. Better than me. You are more than just the Village Hidden in Sin.

You are the saviors of this world, you are the heroes who stopped Tiamat. The warriors who fought off the Fallen Shogun. This isn't your dying breath, this is your second wind. Now every fucking one of you will plant your motherfucking feet, grit your GODDAMN TEETH! And save the world-.... *cough* *cough* *cough*-... AGAIN! Now get out there, figure this shit out, and DO-.... IT-... NOW!

Also, wash your hands, practice social distancing and don't buy up all the god damn toilet paper.

Down with the Sickness!

The Village Hidden in Sin has been rocked to its core by the influenza outbreak. It is highly unlikely that any other village or clan has been hit as hard as Tsumigakure in these trying times. They were the loudest targets, the valiant heroes that rose up to directly face off against Tiamat, the Primordial Goddess of Life and that has caused many of their strongest and their most prominent to undergo the worst cases of the Red Fever ever recorded. They stood face to face with the Sea of Life and they fought through the pain and the sickness to rescue the world from its ultimate downfall. Now, that they are suffering the effects of their valorous heroics none stand up to supplement and aid them. This means it is up to them, once more to save themselves and the world.

At the words of Sado Yasutora the First Tsumikage the stirring of a village-wide event has begun. "Down with the Sickness" is Tsumigakure's rallying cry to the Red Fever and the others in the world who have it. It is the Village Hidden in Sin's way to say "Yes, we're sick. Yes, we're dying, but we're still better than you!" From 04/05/2020 until the end of the Cursed Revenge event each member of Tsumigakure will be able to earn points by performing objectives. In the end, the shinobi of Tsumigakure with the highest point total will be rewarded for their effort in the face of death, sickness, and turmoil. Only objectives completed after the starting date of 04/05/2020 are counted toward point totals. Every single shinobi of the Village Hidden in Sin who participates in the Cursed Revenge arc will also be rewarded in smaller ways for their effort during their sickness. All of these stimuli and payouts will be from Colonial Income/Village Kumi: Tsumigakure's Colonial Income Accounting.

The methods for obtaining points are as follows:

✴ Dark Champion Games ✴

"To Kages and Clan Leaders of the Ninja World:

Red Fever has returned to our lands and much like the last time, threatens our future in this world. Oisha-sama has managed to research the disease directly and discovered that though it affects us all, there is a possible cure to be found. However, with thinning resources, only a small amount could be created. In order to allow others a chance to reverse engineer their own cure from it and with no fair way of chosen who deserves the cure, he has decided to host his own tournament with the cure itself as a prize. You could use it on yourself, share it with other villagers or even find a way to create more copies of it and save everyone.

This tournament, called the Dark Champions Games, is not like the norm; with everyone competing in an open field, you are free to choose your own opponent before progressing to the next round and having different abilities to utilize. However, your opponent may also be preying on you in the same way.

Think fast, however; this notice is sent all over the known world, inviting all to compete and only a limited amount of spaces can exist. Arrive at the Dark Tower Thread to sign up as the games will take place in the Rose Corridor, a special large open arena. Successful sign ups will gain a special armor used for the tournament. It is imperative that you arrive quickly, these slots may fill up quickly.

RULES

The general rules are listed below. Prizes, outside of the Red Fever cure, will be finalized after sign ups as well as exact rules given upon arrival.
  • LoK's R&R. Fights will start 10 meters apart and an opponent you defeated once cannot be battled again unless they challenge you or there has been at least one battle in between you.
  • Every Combatant will start at Jounin Rank and Speed, speed based specialties as well as Leg Weights are disabled for the first 2 rounds.
  • Armor does not reduce damage taken, instead preventing access to select abilities before each round commences, starting with only Taijutsu, Kenjutsu and non chakra enhanced Bukijutsu being allowed. These also disable passive chakra boosts, damage shaving and similar abilities unless stated.
  • Each fight has a 12 hour reply limit and needs to finish in 5 days, upon which a winner will be declared.
Oisha will be directly at the games to speak to all Legends prior to competition and in between rounds. He wishes for only the best to compete and as such has allowed for those with Severe Cases to also enter, though their extremely contagious symptoms can't pass to others, their armor preventing the spread.

To all competitors, may the odds be in your favor.

Signed, Terasaka."

It is always better to be the warrior in the garden than it is to be the gardener in a war.

I'm still here, the man they tried to dispose of
So, dry those eyes, don't you dare weep for me

'Cause this will be
A labor of my love
and if I should die, don't be afraid to say goodbye
Because if you can say goodbye, you can move on, and outlive me when I'm gone.

Wrath of the Warriors

The birth of the four great villages was abrupt, chaotic, and influential but as the rest blandly decayed away to dust like castles made of sand the Village Hidden in Sin remained staunch in their sacrilege. Taiyogakure was the first to be forgotten as a story lost to time now with the possibility of Shimogakure's downfall hovering just over the horizon, Tsumigakure endures as a global superpower. Holding firm on their feet, gritting their teeth, through the calamity that overtook the world at large during Conquerer's End, the creeping rise, and the inevitable defeat of the Shogun; Takauji Ashikaga. Through a world besieged on all sides by the Mother Cult and their Primordial Goddess of Life. Through the multiple clashes of clan and village warfare that shattered Hellsing and the once-mighty Shimogakure but left Tsumigakure stronger for both.

Through the Red Fever, the same pandemic created by their defiance against the Mother of Beasts herself. Through strife, persecution, and bounty after bounty. Wrath of the Warriors is just another excuse for the Village Hidden in Sin, to show the world that not only will they stand through it all, but they will also come out of it stronger. They'll push themselves till their minds and bodies are ground into nothingness. The event will last from the start of arc 15 until it reaches its natural end.

Wrath of the Warriors is a long-form event consisting of three phases, the initial being an extravagant celebration held in the heart of the Graveyard of Sin christened the Rite of Catharsis. Each shinobi will have a set of duties set before them to complete for their home. Village Missions will be handed out to every shinobi who wishes to take part, all who wish to prove themselves will have a shot at just that. The ones who are able to finish their Village Missions promptly, persistently, and most importantly first will be rewarded. Those who fail experience no punishment but also no reward, such is the cruel fate of an assignment done poorly. Every Village Mission passed in the specified time limit will see the individual receive one point for participation up to a maximum of five points.

The second phase is a journey throughout the entirety of the Ninja World deemed the Trail of Sacrilege. The shinobi will be arranged into pairs and sent out to solve arduous riddles, puzzles and hunt for sacred objects of fate and lore. These can be as simple as a plant from a specific landmark, to as complex as a beast that must be fought and subdued from a savage land, or even supplies such as iron or religious artifacts from places of renown. Pairs will face their own trail of fate, again those who complete their objectives promptly and correctly will be rewarded while those who do not will receive no punishment but their own failure. The first pair to return with their object of fate and lore will be given five points, the second four, the third three, the fourth two, and finally anyone after that who completes the Trail of Sacrilege will be given one point. Those who do not finish their trail will get nothing.

Finally, the phase in which the event derives its name will be called the Wrath of the Warriors and will eventually itself become an annual tournament that will see each individual shinobi have the chance to partake in formal combat among one another. Several stages will be constructed where separate arenas will have special and explicit rules where no two fights will have the same restrictions. This means every shinobi will undergo a wholly personal experience of self-growth. Depending on where they place in the tournament participants will again be given points based on their place. First place will be rewarded with five points, second will be rewarded with four, third with three, fourth with two and anything below will be granted one point.

At the end of the Wrath of the Warriors individuals who went above and beyond the expectations laid out before them will garner splendid compensation for their tireless work and effort for the Village Hidden in Sin. Those who performed adequately may see a moderate reward for their time, while those who underperformed will see either minor and meager rewards or none at all. This scale is decided by how many points each individual has accrued over their personal journey. A total maximum of fifteen points is possible if one were to complete every Village Mission, be the first to finish their Rite of Sacrilege, and place first in the Wrath of the Warriors tournament.

HEAVEN SENT CHILD FOUND IN LAST BASTION

The paper is dated August 7th in the year 813, with a very clear headline. It was printed in Last Bastion and distributed throughout Tobusekai, though word quickly spread west to the Mainland as well. On it a picture of a man dressed in black Kevlar, a sleeveless shirt, and a silver plated collar with orange hair. He was, in every sense, an average man; it was not the man that the paper focused on, but the child in his arms. Various sensory types and citizens in Last Bastion have reported to the press that the child could not be sensed, by any means based around chakra - it was as if the child itself did not have a chakra network. But perhaps even more interesting is that those within close proximity to the child have been cured of their Red Fever affliction; it was as if the child could perform miracles. Hundreds of citizens in Last Bastion, within a day or two, became cured of the disease. Something that physicians and healers throughout the world could not even dream of doing. It wasn't long before the child itself became regarded as somewhat of a mythical baby, a child sent from heaven. An angel even.

Daenerys, the Nidaime Tekikage, has fallen!

It didn't take word long to spread around the Land of Fire: Daenerys Stormborn has died. Rumors swirled around how exactly this could have happened. Some spread whisperings of the Red Fever claiming her, others speak about her dragons turning on her. but perhaps the loudest and most accurate rumor spoke of a lone assassin ending her life with his blade, dropping the head of the Dragon Queen. With recent sightings of him heading towards the capital city, the rumors seem to be true.

Madara Uchiha has returned and killed Daenerys to become the Sandaime Tekikage of the Hidden Valley Village.

The Return of Hellsing
You must be registered for see medias
It was no surprise that word would spread quickly in the wake of the return of the demon after having being inflicted by the Red Fever. Many already noticed that the one named Alucard never stopped for battle even in his fatigued state. However, at the far reaches of the Tobusekai continent a grand battle had just concluded with him and his two summoning's remain victorious against a three-thousand strong army of cultists as well as offspring of Tiamat. It would speak alone on their prowess, but mostly what caught wind was the massive quake that could be felt by the neighbouring countries to that of the Shard of Evil as Alucards blood sacrifice had dropped a massive meteor during their battle.

..With the prince of darkness returned to full strength again, the word would start to spread like wildfire from the absolute east side of the world. The pronounce of his power was different from person to person with a mix of fear and support.

- Alucard dropped his testicles in the sink-
Due to recent events that occured on the Midnight Island, a tsunami heading north - south and west from its vicinity. It's origin was from the usage of the shattered heaven technique which made two massive meteors fall from the sky. It's safe to say a 50 meter tall wave will crash into every single island in its neighbours. Most impacted landmarks will be LM 201 - LM 202 - LM 141 and LM 142 all will have their coasts slammed with the max force of the wave triggered here[x]. Other islands in the land of water will not be impacted as much but will still feel a small tremor.

RED FEVER CURE MASS PRODUCED

The physician Iskandrous of Tsumigakure has, with the help of Emiya Shirou, Merlin, and Solomon, mass produced a cure to the Red Fever by mimicking the effects of Enkidu's Chaos. As it is in its early stages of production the cure can only be obtained in a Marketplace, though any will suffice.

A system of dense storm clouds have formed over the Ruins of Chungsu, starting a downpour of historical quantities over the former 'Capital of the World.' The cause of the rain is unclear, but it has continued unabated for nearly three days.
