Uhm actually i wouldn't say, that Naruto is such of a fool anymore. Just the way he rejected Sakura when she faked to profess her love to him made him look way more mature to me - I mean did you ever reject something you wanted more then anything else because you could tell it was an illusion?

Also remember the 3rd died in battle to save his people, sure Naruto would have to calm down more and sit things out but he would sacrifice himself for all people in the village and that's what's most important to bare the name of Kage - Protect the folk.
He might just need Kakashi as his consultant to be all fine

About the Sasuke being Hokage point, even if it was just a joke. That's what came in my mind really. Okay mabey not Hokage but like him returning to the Leaf. As he didn't kill Bee the Cloud might still forgive him. Of course he has to suffer for the attack at the Kage summit but still noone got killed.
I mean like if it would end up that Naruto sacrifices himself to protect Sasuke from one of Madaras attacks or someone else's attacks and Sasuke comes back to his mind, killing Madara, expiating for his crims, why not?

Sure this sounds very unlikely, but hey give it a shot. ^^

I dont mean in Death. The story lines of the new generation is kind of falling into place like that of the generation before them. Tsunade/Sakura, Jairya/Naruto, Orochimaru/Sasuke, ect...Their lives are turning into a similar version of the old generation...Naruto might become Hokage when he gets older but I have a feeling that since he is recognized & well known he's just going to continue his triumph of bringing peace to the ninja world. Doesnt need to be a Hokage to do so...

yeah im pretty sure that being the most powerful ninja in konoha and all of the five great nations is enough for him

Uhm he isn't rejecting Gaaras words at all. He pretty much follows them if you ask me. Naruto didn't know what to do about it himself, now he got his solution. And well he still hopes to get Sasuke back he won't give up as long as he still breaths.

to me that was at the begining of shippuden but to me it changed naruto/hashirama or 4th sasuke/madara or itachi sakura no body cares about her anymore

I don't think the next hokage will be soon.
It'll be either Naruto, or much later in time konohamaru in some way saves the village similar to the pain arc & upstages or saves Naruto somehow.
