This chap trained under Luke Skywalker &amp; the supreme darkside guy. He murdered his fellow students, escaped Luke. Trained under both sides of the force for years &amp; he then gets whooped by a girl who collected shit for a living as a slave. Had just discovered the force about ten minutes &amp; had literally just picked up her lightsaber.<br /> <br /> The random black guy who doesn't even have the force and about 2 mins lightsaber xp ALSO went toe to toe with kylo for a bit and got some good hits on him. <br /> <br /> Another thing. Chewie managed to shoot Kyle from like a mile away and in front of him <b>after</b> he killed his father to get a dark side power up. While at the start of the movie, the pilot shoots at him much closer and from behind while in hiding and Kylo stops the shot in motion about half way between them....I know he was emotional but that should help, ffs.</div>

On topic, I enjoyed the movie. Not my favorite in the Series of course, but it had its good parts.
Only reason Kylo couldn't whoop their asses was because he was shot in the bloody chest or abdomen. And as for what you referred to, I suppose he sensed Poe's presence before he shot at him while he was so fixed at his father and ignoring the rest that he couldn't sense Chewbaka's shot, which was more powerful than Poe's blaster btw.

Lol Kylo was obviously nerfed down a bit. What story would we have if he killed our heroes in the first film? To be honest I think he's going to have a redemption in ep 9 where he gives in to the light to probably save Rey or something like that and sacrifices himself I think he will have some sort of similiar ending as his grandfather, Darth Vader (or Anakin). But I felt he and Han Solo kept this movie moving in the right direction. I held those tears in like a boss.

This random fodder storm trooper whipped out this lightsaber resistant arm attachment as if it were a standard army knife. If they can afford to hand these out willy nilly, why not make full body suit variations but sharp at all the proper points for stabbing. I don't read comics or anything btw &amp; haven't seen the other movies in yeaaaars.<br /> <br /> That was another plot hole. Chewie shot Kylo and it acted as a regular arrow, while earlier, Han fired a bolt at the feet of two storm troopers and they went flying.<br /> <br /> Kylo could've missed an arm and he should've mid diffed at most. The shot wound was accounted for during hus breaks where he beat his wound. <br /> <br /> Kylo sensed a random pilot but nit Han right behind him? That makes it even worse! Lol<br /> <br /> More powerful shot from further away means more warning. It was also just slightly to his lift and up so it should've been in hus field of vision. It's been like 30 years and they think past events are myths??? I thought about this, and I agree.

Thinking about it a second time, Ren's injury from Chewbacca is what nerfed him, allowing Fin to wound him further.

When he fought Rey, he had wounds in his abdomen and across his upper chest. Nerfs are nerfs.
