Coming from here.

After entering through the cave-like entrance, Arjuna was treated to a sight most ghastly: a dimly lit cave system that seemed to stretch on forever in every direction. The violet light that permeated the space caught the Berserker's attention at once, for it seemed very similar to... He retrieved the shard he'd gotten on the Moon Isle and watched with surprise as it glowed, too, as if synchronizing with the energy of the place. "So the shard is tied to the Underworld..." he theorizes while looking the shard over. It was the first time he'd witnessed any reactivity in the stone.

He quickly stows it back into the seam of his clothes and focused his hearing on the target he was tracking moments ago. He saw some other people in the distance, but they appeared to be on humanity's side and fighting monstrous creatures that must have come from Irkalla itself. Arjuna's wondered what might have happened here to warrant this much chaos and evil. He quickly snapped to and remembered why he had ventured here: to find the missing Hana, or at least the truth about her disappearance. Soon he picked up the familiar sound of crow wings beating the air. His target had gotten some considerable distance since the Arali had slowed him down outside, but it was still within reach. Arjuna quickly followed after, coming to a small cubby hole in the cave wall that didn't quite look like the other prison cells around. He heard crying coming the dim space and instinctively leaned in to see..

"Please, get me out of this terrible place!"

A frantic hand reached out from the darkness and grabbed onto Arjuna's arm. He damn near screamed. Their grip was so cold. "Hana?"

"Yes?"

Arjuna stared at the hand for a moment, then he said, "Your sister has sent me for you."

"Great," the voice replied, "I knew she wouldn't fail me."

And that was the confirmation Arjuna needed. "You're Arali aren't you? You change forms to hide your true self, taking on others' appearance and mannerisms like some hellish mimic." He didn't wait for a reply. "Hana only had a brother, and he might be dead by the looks of it."

"I'm honestly surprised you were able to get past Kilik and them. You must be strong."

"What have you done with those siblings?"

"Only the strong survive in this world. The weak perish. Those two, even though they had put up a decent fight, were weak--so they perished."

The grip on his arm slowly morphed into a great clawed hand with talons the size of kunai. The Arali tried to pull Arjuna into the cubby hole but he resisted by forming a single hand seal with his free hand and converting his entire body into Entropy. The creature's clawed hand would not only phase through him, but be disintegrated almost immediately. The moment he heard a bird-like shriek come from the dark spot Arjuna drove his other hand in there, grabbing the Arali before it could shift again and find some slimy form to escape with. The Berserker's rage he felt took physicality in the form of a barrage of fists into the dim space. Arjuna struck the creature until it had stopped moving. Until its cries for mercy had become nothing but blood-filled gurgles and then... silence.

"In my world the unjust perish. Not the weak," Arjuna said as he backs away from the spot. He stared at his hands which remained unsullied by the carnage and sighed. He'd hoped to go back to the village with good news--

A sinister growl caught his attention, coming from deeper in the cave. Arjuna squinted his eyes in the dim violet light and saw a monstrous creature hobbling toward him, a mass of tentacles and limbs. Just the mere silhouette of the thing brought Arjuna to high alert: what unholy power had spawned this thing, and just where did it come from? Didn't look like an Arali, either. This must be something else...

( Entropoton: Mugen no Sokumen ) Entropy ∞ Aspect of Infinity
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 ( -10 per turn )
Damage: 80
Description: Aspect of Infinity is a technique that allows the manipulation of Entropy in its condensed form throughout the body and infusing it with the element. The jutsu requires three hand seals, after which the user becomes a more condensed form of Entropy which appears like a dark silhouette with a shimmering outer edge caused by the passive emission of radiation. Inside the user's body will appear to be filled with small pulses of light reminiscent of stars and their eyes will glow a blueish color. As per natural properties of the element, the user is able to phase through solid objects and those devoid of chakra such as the ground. This can be done passively while Aspect of Infinity is active but while phasing the user will be unable to deliver physical attacks such as free form and Taijutsu or perform techniques other than Entropy. The real strength behind this jutsu comes from the body, whereas the user is able to interact directly with their own energies, enhancing their attacks. While Aspect of Infinity is active, the user is able to perform Entropy techniques with added potency ( +1 rank to techniques up to S-rank, and +20 damage above S-rank ) while halving the number of required hand seals. This is to compensate for them being unable to perform any other forms of elemental Ninjutsu except for Fire and Lightning ( Entropy's component elements ) and elements composed of the two, as well non-chakra aided Taijutsu and of course, Entropy. If the user is to be sealed while Aspect of Infinity is active the Entropy chakra will disperse, ejecting the user while the energy is being absorbed. Likewise, if an attack were to overpower this jutsu, the resultant damage after clashing would carry to the user while the state deactivates. Can only be used twice per match, lasting four turns each, and has a two turn cool down.

Mission End.

Chakra: 1410 - (40 + 10 (Last 10 turns of Inner Sonar) = 1360
Post marks beginning of a Mission with the following element(s): Encounter and defeat your first Void creature (S-rank).

After dispatching the murderous Arali, Arjuna found himself face-to-face with a hulking monstrosity that seemingly came out of the endless tunnels. The dark purple miasma that permeated the place also came from the creature as well, seeping from its body like thin mist. They had to be connected, for he hadn't seen let alone heard of anything like this before. It had four legs, but remained upright with a pudgy torso and one, giant arm that dragged on the ground behind it. The other side of its body, where another arm should have been was covered in writhing tentacles that reached out and seemed to lick the cave walls as it approached. Such a vile aberration of life gave Arjuna the creeps way more than the shape-shifting Arali had.

Still enhanced by Aspect of Infinity, he charged at the creature, refusing to let fear take hold of him as he jumped as high as the cavern ceiling would allow and swing his leg at what appeared to be its head: a bulbous sac covered in pitch black eyes that looked more like orbs poking out of its skin. The mass of tentacles that served as its left hand reached up and grabbed his foot with a quickness before taking and slamming him into the cavern wall with enough force to shake his little spot of the Underworld. In between the blinding pain and his gasping, Arjuna realized he would have to abandon his previous plans for this creature: getting close could be a death sentence.

(Konoha Daisenkō) - Leaf Great Flash
Rank: B
Type: Offensive, Supplementary
Range: Short
Charka cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: Similar to Tsunade’s Sky leg but the user user charges at their opponent and unleashes a powerful lateral kick aiming at the head that will send their opponent flying away.

He heard the Void beast's brutish arm swinging around to finish him off in his dazed state and immediately gathers the quickest response he knew: lightning. Molding his Raiton chakra into a mass of skewers that manifested under the creature's grip and grew outward, piercing and slicing the tentacles while paralyzing it long enough to halt it in its tracks. He couldn't afford to get snatched up like that again, so as soon as he was back on his feet, albeit sore and in pain, Arjuna followed up by releasing a wave of Entropy aimed directly at the mass of tentacles, causing them to shrivel as if in a cold breeze and fall off. By then the beast broken through its paralysis and brought its giant hand down in a vertical arc to crush him into the ground, but Arjuna was prepared, dodging backward with a well-timed hop and began forming three hand seals--

A new set of tentacles sprang from the writhing mass of flesh that was the creature's arm and lashed out at Arjuna like whips, striking his body at multiple points while violently pulling him toward the creature. He saw a maw as infinite as the tunnels themselves open up on the creature's torso, complete with teeth and a thick, snake-like tongue. It roared at him, lighting up the Necropolis with even more violet glow. Luckily for his form, the tentacles--which were also lined with teeth-failed to pierce into him, but still they stung with an unnatural searing pain that was unlike anything he'd ever felt. This was bad.

(Raiton: Supaiku Bodi) –Lightning Release: Spiked Body
Type: Offensive
Spoiler
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 30 (-5 to sustain)
Damage Points: 60
Description: The user will begin to gather a large amount of lightning chakra within their own body. The person will then proceed to make highly concentrated spikes of lightning, which will emerge from a desired location on his/hers body. The lightning spikes emerge from the body like regular chakra by seeping through the skin and then immediately forming the spike seemingly making it look as if the spike protruded from the body and out into the open air. It emerges with enough force to pierce incoming projectiles or skewer some one’s body and paralyze them. The spikes can essentially have any length the user wishes it to have, though the absolute limit of the technique is that it can only reach targets within short-range of the user, though the user has no limit to how many spikes he can emerge from his body through this technique when used. Another note may be, that the spikes can be dispersed at will by the user if he sees fit.
Note: This technique may only be used twice per battle and while sustaining it, the user cannot mold any element aside from Lightning
Note: This technique must be taught by Gutsy Jiraiya

(Entropoton: Akuyaku no Shizuka) Entropy ∞ Silent Undoer
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: C-S A S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15-40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 30-80
Description: This technique serves as a basic release for the element, and allows the user to concentrate various amounts of Entropic Radiation either within his body, the terrain around him, or even the air. When conjured without a source the element cannot be formed within 5 meters (short ranged) of an opponent, unless the user himself is within that range. The radiation can be used in various forms; it can be condensed into solid objects such as weapons, shields, pillars, etc and it can stay as simple radiation to cover vast distances and wreak havoc from afar. When made into objects, the element will be able to, upon contact with techniques and/or chakra filled entities, disperse the kinetic and potential energies found within said technique which can cause it to lose form. The other side to this technique is when the element is released in full blown radiation form. As per abilities of the CE, the radiation is able to pass through solid objects to get to hidden targets. Once contact is made the radiation will forcefully scatter the energies within its target which can lead to severe internal damage within people and summons, and loss of form to techniques. To use this technique above B-ranked, the user will have to perform a hand seal. A-ranked usages require two hand seals and a turn cool down between applications, S-Ranked requires three hand seals, two turn cool down, and a maximum usage limit of three times. After using the S-ranked variant the user will be unable to perform Entropy techniques above A-Ranked in the next turn. Applications of Silent Undoer can remain on the field more than a single turn up to a max of three turns but at a price of ten chakra per turn.

Again, he was forced to abandon his plans: forgoing the hand seals in favor of something that came naturally. "
O Mistress of Heaven, guide my aim so that it may be as true as yours." He turned to the gaping maw threatening to swallow him hole and made a finger-gun gesture directly at it whilst closing an eye to line up the shot. He manifested a pale, white spear that seemed to glow with the light of heaven itself, piercing the gloomy dim of the caverns while also showing Arjuna just how massive and terrifying this many-legged creature was. Not only that... but there more in the distance. The spear blitzed forward many times quicker than Arjuna was being pulled and ran straight through the void creature's oddly placed mouth, bursting from its back in an explosion of white and violet light. A terrible wailing followed as the beast keeled to one side and slumped against a great, cage-like structure. Arjuna would not let up, this time sending his Entropy radiation directly into the wound he'd made and wreaking havoc on whatever internal organs/systems that governed the monstrosity. Slowly, amidst its writhing, the beast shriveled and fell apart, having no way to deal with the pervasiveness of Entropy.

When it had completely stopped moving Arjuna allowed a sigh of release to leave him. He himself leaned against the cave wall and heaved. The Aspect of Infinity faded from his body, and the mortal Berserker was shown to be bleeding at the arms and legs where the Void beast had grabbed hold of him. He wasn't sure why but something within him kept telling him that this is where he was supposed to be--even though he was clearly in over his head. He pushed from the wall he leaned on and stumbled further into the tunnels, entranced by a calling from elsewhere... "To rid the world of evil..."

(Fūinjutsu: Ishutaru no Heiki) – Sealing Technique: Ishtar’s Armory
Type: Offensive, Defensive, Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short – Long
Chakra: 30 (-5 per turn)
Damage: 60
Description: This technique is the sibling of Sealing Technique: Ethereal Guardian. Like its sister technique, Ishtar’s Armory employs the same principle of malleability and versatility allowing the user to produce a wide variety of barriers. These barriers, like the familiars created by Ethereal Guardian, are limited only by the user’s imagination in their creation allowing the user to produce objects which range from simple geometric constructs, such as a pillar, to something as complex as a sword, kunai, bird, or dragon. Although, unlike the Ethereal Guardian, which allows the user to produce familiars which siphon chakra these constructs are static and simply drain the user’s chakra should they be sustained over multiple turns. The created objects cannot exceed a maximum of 15 meters in height or width. By default their created color, like Ethereal Guardian, is white. These constructs are created within short-range of the user and can reach up to long-range from the user’s position. They are capable of levitating by default, like Ethereal Guardian. The user is able to produce multiple constructs freely, following normal splitting rules. Ishtar’s Armory can be used four times per battle with two turns in between applications. In the following turn the user is unable to use Sealing techniques above B-Rank. Creations are only able to be sustained for up to two turns, during which it will occupy one of the user's three moves per turn.

This post marks beginning of a Mission with the following element(s): A-Rank

  • Explore the Necropolis.
  • Encounter and defeat your first Void creature.

Arriving in the Necropolis, Faye and Seraphina found themselves in a vast, cave-like system that seemed to stretch on infinitely. The earthen walls were lined with thousands of prison-like structures, each containing the souls of long-departed humans. These souls had resided here since the Age of Gods, their quality of life in the underworld determined by the judgment of the Burial King in the Fields of Suffering.

As they ventured deeper into the Necropolis, the sheer scale of this place became evident. The corridors and passageways seemed endless, and the dimly lit cells created an oppressive atmosphere. The souls within existed in various states, some shrouded in darkness while others were bathed in the faint glow of small wisps of flame. The lighting within the Necropolis was eerie and unsettling. The violet light, seeped through the cavernous walls and cracks. It cast ominous shadows, and its source remained elusive, creating an atmosphere of perpetual twilight.

Faye's curiosity was piqued as she examined the prison-like structures more closely. Some souls seemed at peace, while others were tormented by their circumstances.
As Faye and Seraphina continued deeper into the heart of the Necropolis, the ethereal ambiance of the place began to weigh on them.

Seraphina, looking to lighten the mood, couldn't resist making a lighthearted comment. "You know, Faye," she began, her ethereal form shimmering, "I wonder if the Burial King ever had a sense of humor. Maybe he judged souls based on their ability to tell a good joke."

Faye chuckled softly, her sense of humor undeterred by the gloomy atmosphere. "Well, if we ever cross paths with this mysterious Burial King, I'll have to inquire, 'Do you find overseeing this realm rather... grave?' You know, because it's the underworld and all." She couldn't suppress a smirk, fully aware of how cringe the joke was.

Their banter provided a momentary distraction from the eerie surroundings, but as they pressed on, the violet light grew more pronounced, casting eerie and elongated shadows on the walls. Faye's unease deepened as she watched the crystalline shard hidden within the pure realm reacting to the presence of the Void. It pulsed faintly, its response to the malevolent energy of the underworld becoming more pronounced.

Seraphina noticed Faye's growing concern and inquisitiveness. "Hmm weird," she remarked, her expression thoughtful. "It must be reacting to underworld energy or something. It's as if they share some kind of connection."

Faye nodded in agreement, her brow furrowing with curiosity. "I've never encountered anything like this before. It's almost as if the crystal is trying to tell me something, but I can't decipher its message."

Their discussion shifted to more serious matters as Faye recounted her journey, her encounters with Eiji, and the quest for answers that had brought her to this place. Seraphina listened attentively, her ethereal form a comforting presence by Faye's side.
The atmosphere grew increasingly tense as they ventured further into the heart of the Necropolis. Shadows danced ominously on the cavern walls, and the distant echoes of the dead and the void creatures served as a haunting backdrop.

"Faye, Something is not right," Seraphina finally whispered with more urgency, her ethereal form glowing softly as she cast a wary gaze down the dark corridor ahead.

Faye nodded in agreement, her senses on high alert. Suddenly, they heard a strange, otherworldly sound echoing through the corridors—a guttural and chilling noise that sent shivers down their spines.

A creature of the Void emerged from the shadows, its form twisted and nightmarish. Faye and Seraphina exchanged a determined glance, knowing that they had to face this threat head-on.

A creature of the Void emerged from the shadows, its form twisted and nightmarish. Faye and Seraphina exchanged a determined glance, knowing that they had to face this threat head-on.

*To be Continued.*
The Void creature's presence was a nightmarish tapestry of grotesque design. Its form was an amalgamation of writhing tendrils that seemed to writhe with malevolence, and its maw was a gruesome display of jagged, razor-sharp teeth. It moved through the dimly lit corridors with an eerie grace, each movement carrying an air of unpredictable, unsettling fluidity.

In a terrifying display of agility, the creature emerged suddenly from the shadows, its multiple tendrils whipping through the air like vipers seeking prey. With lightning speed, one of these dark appendages struck out at Faye, aiming to ensnare her. However, in the blink of an eye, her body became enveloped in a pink glow.

Just as the monster's tendril made contact, Faye's chakra surged to life, manifesting as a protective barrier that encased her. The creature's strike sent her hurtling through the air, her body colliding with the unforgiving stone wall of the Necropolis.

Despite the force of the impact, her defensive barrier bore the brunt of the collision, crackling with energy as it absorbed the shock. The protective field flickered and shimmered with resilience, visibly absorbing the kinetic energy that would have otherwise inflicted grave harm upon her.

Faye gasped for breath, shaken but resolute within her protective cocoon. Her defensive maneuver had spared her from the full brunt of the creature's assault, though her battle against the Void was far from over.

Chakra Cost:15-40
Damage Points: 30-80
Description: Shojun no Hel is perhaps the most essential technique throughout the House's epitome of techniques. The jutsu is based on the use of the generic Genki which whom traverse between the Pure and Impure Realms, a.k.a into our 'dimension' per say. Through the conviction of the user, and a sacrificial portion of chakra, depending on the strength of the Genki, and the Rank within the House of the user, they will forcefully be able to persuade the Genki to do their bidding. Now this can be used in a various amount of ways, essentially by bending the savage spirit in it's else deformed mass of ethereal spiritual energy, the user is capable of forming 'constructs' of ethereal energy throughout the field through hand motions or else body movements. These constructs carries a certain color of Kūki no Yōna depending on the user, upon materializing in the desired area of the user's choice. On top of that, the constructs are either flame-like or solid in the appearance, thus adding for versatility. Once the sacrifice have been made the user can freely without further payment manipulate the Genki, with the only cost being spending a move. Being hit by a Genki will either do nothing (if the spirit decides to not take a tangible form), or produce kinetic, physical damage (if he takes physical form). In this case, the Genki still has the ability to select which matter he will interact with, though that is not true for energies, as per the clan description.
Note: This technique can only manipulate one genki at a time.
Note: S-Rank can only be used three times per battle and not in consecutive turns.

Faye pushed herself up from the rubble, determination gleaming in her eyes as she faced the grotesque Void creature. Her first priority was safeguarding the mysterious crystalline shard, and she glanced at Seraphina with a firm command.

"Guard the crystal," Faye instructed Seraphina, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. The creature, its monstrous visage contorted with otherworldly features, appeared momentarily bewildered, unable to comprehend who Faye was speaking to.
Faye observed the creature's reaction carefully, and from its response, she deduced that it possessed a semblance of intelligence, or at the very least, an ability to comprehend her words.

She proceeded to unclamp her leg weights, letting them fall to the ground creating a small crater. As she prepared herself for another encounter with the Void creature

Type: Tool
Rank: E
Range: N/A
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage points: N/A
Description: A basic automated clamp designed to read the electrical input of muscles contracting allowing the user to simply flex in a specific way to release them. These clamps are integrated into Leg Weights to hold them in place. Allowing the user to simply flex their leg in a specific manner to passively release the weight gives them freedom of mobility. These clamps give no added bonus or benefit other than releasing the weights in a more versatile way, better suited for combat.
Notes:
-Must be placed in the users' biography
-Can only be taught by Serpent

Taking a deep breath, Faye shifted her focus back to the creature. "Alright, let's try this once more," she said, her tone resolute. "I'm Faye. And you are?"

The creature responded with an earth-shaking roar, lurching forward in a predatory charge. Faye's hopeful curiosity shifted to a mild sense of exasperation as she realized her attempts at communication were falling on deaf ears.

"Of course," she muttered to herself with a rueful smile, acknowledging that diplomacy wasn't in the cards with this particular Void creature.

The creature, undeterred, unleashed another barrage of tendrils. Faye, her barrier still glowing pink, effortlessly sidestepped the attacks. She relied on her exceptional speed to position herself beneath the monster, ready to launch a series of swift and precise strikes.

With a burst of agility, Faye lowered her stance using her hands to spin, delivering a powerful blow that sent the creature airborne. It roared in response.
Before the creature could recover, Faye charged her legs with chakra, allowing her to jump high into the air and appeared behind the airborne target in a blur of speed. Utilizing the momentum of her jump, she delivered a flurry of spinning kicks, each impact sending shockwaves through the creature's form.

The monster howled in pain as it crashed into the ground, creating a miniature crater. Faye landed gracefully a short distance away, her barrier still shimmering with protective energy.

Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 60
Description: The user appears below their target in a burst of speed, having assumed a low stance, and then uses their hands to twist their body into a spinning motion in order to deliver a powerful kick meant to send the opponent airborne. This technique can be used to prepare for a variety of other offensive maneuvers.

Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: By charging their legs with chakra the user enables themselves to jump high into the air, appearing behind an airborne target in a burst of speed. Utilizing the momentum of their jump the user then delivers a number of spinning kicks, sending the target crashing into the ground.
The dust from the creature's fall had yet to settle when four tendrils suddenly emerged, lashing out with deadly precision toward Faye. With grace and agility, she evaded each tendril, her movements a blur of speed and precision. It seemed the monster was growing desperate.

However, the creature was cunning. It seized the opportunity, using the cover of the swirling dust and the flurry of tendrils as a decoy. In a surprising move, it swiped its jagged claws at Faye, catching her off guard. The vicious strike sent her hurtling backward, her protective barrier shattered, and blood trickling from a gash on her arm.

Faye gritted her teeth, the pain in her arm a sharp reminder of the danger she faced. With steely determination, she pushed through the pain, her resolve unbroken. The battle was far from over, and she couldn't afford to falter now.

The creature, emboldened by its attack, roared defiantly, its writhing tendrils lashing out once more in a frenzied assault. Faye held her ground, her Golden Nightmare gleaming ominously in the dim light of the Necropolis. She knew that patience and precision would be her allies in this perilous battle.

With unwavering focus, Faye waited for the opportune moment, her eyes locked onto the creature's every movement. As the tendrils thrashed toward her, she moved with a dancer's grace, sidestepping and weaving through the onslaught. Each tendril missed its mark, narrowly avoiding her lethal strikes.

And then, in a breathtaking display of skill and precision, Faye unleashed a relentless barrage of slashes with her Golden Nightmare. The blade sliced through the creature's form like a literal hot knife through butter, cleaving it into pieces. Dark ichor oozed from the severed tendrils as the monstrous entity let out a final, chilling wail.

With the creature defeated, Faye took a moment to catch her breath, her gaze drawn to the crystalline shard hidden within the pure realm. It pulsed with a faint, violet light, its presence seemingly heightened in the aftermath of the battle. As she observed, she noticed something intriguing—the shard appeared to be absorbing a strange, otherworldly energy emanating from the remains of the defeated monster.

The sight left Faye both fascinated and puzzled. The connection between the crystal and the Void creatures was becoming more apparent, but the nature of this connection remained shrouded in mystery.

As Faye contemplated this newfound revelation, she was suddenly jolted from her thoughts by a cacophony of growls echoing from the nearby shadows. Her heart sank as she realized they were not alone.

"Well, this complicates things," Faye muttered, a mixture of frustration and determination in her voice. Without a moment to spare, three more nightmarish Void creatures emerged from the dark, their grotesque forms casting eerie shadows in the dimly lit Necropolis.

This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following storyboard elements:
-Defend yourself from wild beasts

Following the eerie light after setting up the camp she found a strange gateway into what seemed to be an underground tomb, at least that's what Inveria thought looking from the outside. Trying to look deeper into the underground proved to be difficult and almost futile as the soft purple glow hardly lit up anything further than she could see about 10 to 20 metres in. Plucking up her adventurous spirit, Inveria filled her self with courage to brave the unknown and step into the breech as she moved forward to the underground. It was barely more than a tingle but it almost felt like stepping through or into a thin film of something, like a barrier being passed and once inside the dimly lit underground now seemed to be a bit more clear with twisting and winding paths going in different directions and cave mouths. It was unlike anything she had ever seen or read about and as she strained her eyes there was a skittering and chatter that echoed around sending a shiver down Inverias spine. She suddenly stood upright as her body began to enter a fight or flight response as she had barely prepared or been in combat before, she was beginning to feel a bit of that courage she had slip away. It was as if the cave was sapping her of her spirit, smothering her bravery and drowning her in a crushing sense of despair and fear, something she had never experienced before. Inveria had no problem looking down the eyes of a bandit, some outlaw or someone she had to step up to meet or stop from doing evil things (at least in theory) but this omnimous sense of foreboding wasn't able to be looked at, it wasn't a fight against something she could hurt or stop. This was a fight to keep herself brave and to keep her self from fleeing, and just like that mid thought it was broken as something jumped out from the shadows of a path she started to wander down.

Inveria barely had time to react before it was a few feet from her face and she twisted her body in an attempted to dodge it, but the darkness combined with her distraction caused the creatures claws to catch her hip as it passed. A sharp pain like an electrical shock radiated shout from her hip, shooting down her right leg and up into her chest as she clapped a hand to it quickly in panic causing another momentary blip of pain to rush through her. Thankfully this second one wasn't too bad for her, meaning that it wasn't that deep of a cut but she had to focus on what attacked her, time for healing after. Turning to face the creature it looked like some strange purple quadruped creature, like a dog mixed with a rats or something like that. It had the head of a dog, with pointed ears, a nose, but no eyes where they should have been, not even sockets just smooth skin. It's mouth bared fangs that were drooling and it hunched over looking like it was ready for another assault. Pulling a kunai out of her back to arm herself, she though about what kind of attacks she could use to fight with any kind earth techniques she specialised in could potentially bring the whole cave down onto her.... manifesting some wind chakra into her mouth, she began to exhale the wind onto the kunai causing a longer blade of wind to wind around it. Though not as skilled at wind as she was earth, it would still be sufficient as the beast lunged at her Inveria would bend her knees to push the wind infused kunai upwards cutting into the void beast. She tried to stab it through or make a large deep cut but she only felt it's lightly graze across its underbelly.

(Fūton: Shinkūjin) - Wind Release: Vacuum Blade
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user exhales wind-infused chakra onto a weapon in order to increase its sharpness, range and lethality. For example, the user can infuse a kunai to resemble a makeshift scimitar or infuse shuriken to increase their range and cutting power.

Turning to look at where it landed she could see some dark purple looking liquid dripping out of it, though it was hard to tell whether the liquid was purple or just regular blood with the refraction of the eerie purple light. Gripping the kunai with both hands the beast began to prowl to the right as she tried to keep her eyes on it, but it was getting hard to keep watch as only its glowing purple eyes could be visible in certain times. With one blink it was gone and another blink it was back again, Inveria had to keep focus through this battle and survive. She was not going to be an adventure to die against the first beast she came across. It was like a dire wolf the way it prowled and attacked her, waiting for a moment when her guard was lowest but it's ambush had failed and now needed to attack her head on. It snarled and leaped once more but this time Inveria was watching it, taking a hop backwards and slashing forward at the beast catching its shoulder and wounding it and causing more blood to splash out from its body. The beast yelped in pain as it hobbled backwards recoiling leaving an opening for inveria to press the advantage. With a quick step forward an attacking Inveria plunged the enhanced kunai blade down into the top of the head of the beast with more blood leaking out. A horrible squeeling noise came from the creature as she stabbed down before its muscles tensed up trying to pull away briefly then collapsing in a heap on the floor.

Breathing heavily, Inveria wondered just how these creatures survived down here or just what kinds of creatures they were. Was it possible whole different kinds of mosnters and species were here that never came to the surface or were they just animals that got too close and mutated from this environment? Inveria had no idea but she would need to go deeper to investigate to get these answers, but before even that, he had to dress the wound on her hip that the strange Void creature had inflicted upon her.

This post marks beginning of a Mission with the following element(s): A-Rank
  • Defeat the horde of Void Creatures.

Faye knew that facing more of these formidable Void creatures would be no easy feat. She quickly assessed the situation, her mind racing as she considered her options.

"Let me help, Faye," Seraphina offered, her ethereal form shimmering with concern. "The crystal is safe in the pure realm. As far as we know, they don't even know it's here."

Faye hesitated for a moment, her gaze locked on the advancing Void creatures. She knew Seraphina could provide assistance, but she also understood that they needed to be cautious.

"We don't know anything yet," Faye replied, her voice resolute. "Stay with it for now."

The trio of Void creatures approached with menacing intent, their grotesque forms closing in on Faye. She kept her focus on them, her senses sharp and her body poised for action.

With a swift, calculated motion, Faye channeled earthen chakra into the ground beneath her. The earth responded to her command, sending multiple earthen spikes randomly emerging from the ground.

Two of the creatures displayed an eerie level of agility, effortlessly evading the earthen spikes as they continued their advance. However, one of the creatures was not as fortunate. It slammed into a spike that had emerged directly in its path.

As the remaining two Void creatures closed in, one from her right and the other from her left, Faye sprang into action. She moved with precision and grace, narrowly dodging the creature that lunged to bite her. Her evasive maneuver caused the creature to inadvertently bite its companion, resulting in a chaotic collision as they crashed into each other.

The creatures, momentarily disoriented, hissed and growled in frustration. The first creature somehow managed to get behind Faye, putting her in a rather perilous situation. Its tendril struck her in the back, causing her to cry out in pain as it launched her forward, straight into the path of the other two approaching Void creatures. It was a devastating blow, and Faye's health suffered as a result (-30 hp).

Realizing that she needed to act swiftly, Faye summoned her resolve. A pink, spiked bubble materialized around her, a protective barrier that encased her form as she crashed into the two monsters with bone-crushing force. The barrier impaled them, causing agonized cries to fill the air.

The creature that had struck her in the back howled in fury, summoning reinforcements. At least twelve more of its brethren emerged from the shadows, drawn by the distress calls of their kin. Faye, bruised and bloodied, stood up amidst the chaos.

"Shit, this isn't good," she muttered, her voice filled with grim determination.

Seraphina, concerned, began to speak, but Faye interrupted her. "Don't worry, I've got these little guys. If numbers are all they have, then it's nothing."

With a swift and practiced motion, Faye planted her sword firmly in the ground, hilt up and blade anchored in the earth. In an instant, it released a substantial amount of liquid bismuth into the ground, causing it to surge upward like towering trees. The miniature bismuth forest spanned about 30 meters wide and reached a height of 10 meters.

The sudden emergence of the bismuth forest disoriented her opponents, providing her with a crucial advantage. Faye wasted no time. She performed a rapid series of handseals, preparing for a counterattack. Countless bullets of liquid bismuth rained down from the trees within the miniature forest, pelting the battlefield from all directions in a relentless and chaotic assault. The pain-filled roars of the monsters echoed as they were struck by the barrage.

Faye's determination and resourcefulness were on full display as she fought to protect herself against overwhelming odds. The battlefield was filled with the anguished cries of the Void creatures as they fell victim to the onslaught.

"Hahaha, that will teach you," Faye remarked with a triumphant grin, her breathing heavy but her spirit undaunted.

As the dust began to settle and a moment of respite settled over the battlefield, an ominous silence prevailed. However, that silence was soon shattered by a deafening roar, one far louder and more ominous than any that had echoed through the Necropolis thus far.

Faye's expression shifted from one of momentary relief to disbelief. "Oh, c'mon! A boss fight?" she half-joked, a wry smile on her lips as she caught sight of the approaching creature.

The new threat that loomed on the horizon was formidable, and Faye knew that facing it would be the greatest challenge she had encountered in this nightmarish realm.

Techniques Used

(Doton: Kujo Joushou Iwa Chuuseki) - Earth Release: Destructive Rising Rock Pillars
Type: Offensive
Rank: A
Range: Mid-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description: This jutsu causes gigantic pillars of rock to forcefully emerge from the ground. This is an even greater scaled Earth Release: Rising Spikes and is large enough to impale a summoning technique.

(Shojun no Hel) Δ Hel's Alignment
Rank: C-S
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15-40
Damage Points: 30-80
Description: Shojun no Hel is perhaps the most essential technique throughout the House's epitome of techniques. The jutsu is based on the use of the generic Genki which traverse between the Pure and Impure Realms, a.k.a into our 'dimension' per say.

(Gōruden'naitomea) - Golden Nightmare
Type: Weapon
Rank: S
Range: N/A
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 80
Description: The Golden Nightmare is a sword made by parts of reinforced steel and liquid bismuth. This makes the sword able to shift in construction and turn into a hand-cannon due to the liquid parts of the construction. It will either start as a sword or a hand cannon at the beginning of an encounter. Both forms gives the user an enhanced passive trait to the bisumaton release, increasing it's damage by +20 and giving it additionally +10 chakra through a designated seal that is passively activated when it's master is either holding the blade/handcannon or has it sheathed. The seal fluctuates bismuth chakra through its masters body constantly and gives them an extremely faint rainbowy aura(which is just for visual effects).

Sword: The sword form is very beautiful with multitudes of colors and shining edges. The edge of the sword is partially liquid bismuth and partially hardened steel. Due the temperature of liquid bismuth the sword will inflict severe burns on contact with skin and cause great pain. It further enhances the swords cutting capability since it can melt away other elements(within reason, but rubbery and bouncy for example) that are in the way of the sharp steel. If placed on the ground with the hilt upwards and the edge planted in the foundation of the ground infront of the user it will release a large portion of liquid bismuth into the ground that will shape into half of a sphere. Using their ability to control the element, the user can then shape the underground sphere into large roots or trees around the battlefield that deals burning damage on touch. These roots can reach long range while the trees(depending on their length) can only reach mid-range. This causes S-rank damage. The trees can spread and create a miniature forest(about 30 meters big and 10 meters tall), entrapping foes. On touch it causes severe burns. While not dealing 80 damage on freeform, the sword can be used for standard kenjutsu techniques with the burning damage added to it. The user can, however, do freeform 80 damage kenjutsu moves but that will consume a moveslot.

Handcannon: The handcannon form of the Golden Nightmare is like the sword, very beautiful and contains the exact same parts as the sword. This handcannon can fire rounds made out of liquid bismuth. On impact, the bullets will not pierce their target but rather splat on the impact surface and spread across it. This causes severe pain and if shot on a limb it will immobilize it the metal is quite heavy. One single shot can spread all across a regular human-sized creature's torso all the way to their back and thus immobilizes their spine.
Regular gun rules apply and only one round can be shot each time-frame.

Note: A bullet and the sword does 80 damage following the S/W of Bisumaton and up to four bullets per match.
Note: Changing form of the sword costs a move-turn and the user must state in the beginning of a battle what form the Golden Nightmare has taken. If not, it's default as a sword.
Note: Can only be used by Skorm
Note: Utilizing the roots/tree application of the sword renders the user incapable of using the sword's other active abilities in the same and next turn.
Note: Firing a bullet, using the sword for an S-rank attack, or creating the roots render the user unable to use Bismuth Techniques above A-rank in the same turn.

(Bisumaton: Kamigami no umi | Bismuth release: Sea of gods)
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 10-40
Damage: 20-80
Description: Sea of gods is a multi-ranked technique that serves as the basic, jack-of-all-trades technique of the bismuth release. It can be created from existing sources(earth) or from the user directly. Depending on how much chakra he/she spends it amps the technique further and thus produces more liquid bismuth. The force of the torrent of the liquid metal will also become greater the more chakra is spent into the technique. But even so, small amounts of liquid bismuth may be enough for some occasions too. Through this technique, the user will be able to shape the land infront of them and create small or large torrents of the liquid bismuth, create a huge "sea" of the molten metal right under their targets or manipulate pre-existing liquid bismuth to form into huge hands or small flying liquid bullets. Even though the possibilities are essentially endless, the bismuth will stay on the field until destroyed and does not require chakra to stay on the field. However, since the release is indeed liquid it cannot maintain any lasting functional structures unless chakra is used to sustain the releases state. Sort of like water which can be formed into a dragon but needs chakra to sustain its form in such case. D, C and B ranks can be used indefinitely while B-ranks will require one handseal; Hare. A rank variation can be used up to 4 times, but will start to require two handseals; Hare - Ox. S-rank variation requires three handseals; Hare - Ox - Rabbit - and can be used up to 3 times per battle.

Note: B-ranks require a single handseal, A ranks two handseals and S rank three handseals.
Note: A rank version can be used 4 times per battle, S rank 3.
Note: No Bismuth Above A-rank after using S-rank version.

This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following storyboard elements:
-(Custom) Recover from the battle (2)

Inveria sat down after the fight with the large void creature flopping onto the floor and pushing herself up against a pillar, as a throbbing pain began pulsing from the wound on her hip and looking down at it, her eyes widened. The wound had began to have purple marks around it where she had been scratched almost looking like some kind of horrible bruising but stretching out in long tendrils across her body, only a few centimetres. It was almost as if those marks themselves were causing her pain, as she cupped a hand to her hip to hold the gashes together, gritting her teeth through the pain now that the adrenaline had worn off. Her head was starting to feel a bit fuzzy while looking at it, and she pulled her bag in front of her with a free hand, was it the cave causing this or the wound or loss of blood making it hard to focus. Had the creature poisoned her or was there some kind of toxin in its claws that now was seeping through her body causing a shortness of breath as she rolled her head back, trying not to panic thinking about what might happen if she gave in. This was not anything she had been prepared for, how could she fight something that wasn't a physical object to beat but it was still a learning experience that she needed to remember and learn from. Pulling her backpack around she opened it and rummaged through with a single hand without looking down, her head rolled back and eyes closed as another spike of pain sparked through her body, she needed to find a bandage or some healing pack to help her. She couldn't remember packing any but maybe there was something that she could help her to stem the pain before she could head back and get it looked at. It was there she thought she heard someone speaking in her ear as if behind her.

  1. Your biography begins to hear undiscernible whispers in their ear. Lasts for seven turns.

" . . . Bwixki amala zal qulllll . . . "

Her hand moved over tools, clothes, bedding, food and other supplies as she tried to picture her hand wandering through her bag picking apart what she was touching. Starting to pull out the items to get to the bottom as they kept falling on her hand she let out a muffled scream unable to stifle the pain as once again it burned as she moved but in fear of attracting anything she forced her mouth shut by biting her lip. A bitter metallic taste passed her lips as she could taste blood now, having ripped a bit of her lip.

MMMMMMMMM

Getting more desperate, Inveria started ripping out items and chucking it on the floor before her looking for some relief from this pain and some way to stop the bleeding. Taking a chance to look down and peak at her wound, she could see that the wound itself hadn't changed much but gone a darker shade of purple, though she wasn't really sure what she expected. Originally it was a light purple something akin to a bruise like a mauve but now it had changed to a darker shade like a palantine or grape, causing a slight bubble of panic to well up in her throat. Getting a bit more desperate, Inveria could feel her grip starting to loosen on her calm. Suddenly she thought she heard a whisper again that caused more panic to add into her fears of dying from this encounter.

" . . . Shgla'yos plahf mh'naus . . . "

Throwing caution to the wind but trying to just survive this, Inveria decided that she needed to be ready in case what ever what in the cave talking came towards her so grabbing one of her shirts she ripped it up into a few thing strips to wrap around her waist. Putting pressure and stopping the bleeding with the makeshift bandage was the goal but it was roughly done, simply to do what ever she could to get ready, and groggily getting to her feet, Inveria took a deep breath as quietly as she could and pressed herself against the wall of the cave ready for what ever was around her.

She looked around but nothing was coming, there wasn't any movement or any other kind of noise nearby she could discern that indicated she was in danger, but she could swear that there was something or someone nearby whispering or saying something. It was hard to remember when she thought back to it what she heard she closed her eyes hard almost squinting with her eyes closed in an effort to remember but nothing came. Had she imagined someone talking or something nearby, was it an echo in the cave like a reverberation that the wound had caused, or was it something more. She knew nothing about where she was but with everything that happened recently, there was rumours of creatures and gods and demons, had something else been down here with her she was unsure.

This post marks the beginning of a mission using the following storyboard elements:
-Do some moderate meditation to improve focus (1)
-Perform a moderate workout routine (2)

There was a moment that Inveria thought about running away and heading back home, trying to escape this terrifying situation not even trying to claim the quest work about the camp she set up prior to this cave investigation. She wanted to be an adventurer from a young age but nothing had prepared her for this kind of work, the idea of killing bandits, monsters like zombies and wolves were what she envisioned rather than being in a cave attacked by some strange purple mutated hound and hearing voices she couldn't see. It was as she considered turning and running out the cave she heard a voice again, indiscernible but unmistakably speaking and whispering in her ear.

" . . . Naza bul rexil qalic ul' . . . "

She shook her head someone understanding part of the intent of what it was saying for the first time, the voice was calling her useless perhaps it was some kind of compiled fear and she was unsure about herself but it was in that moment she saw the face of an adventurer who inspired her to get into adventuring, his outline in her mind. He wouldn't show fear or give into the panic she was feeling, he would heroically head on further in and push further into the cave network. The thought of his image gave her some comfort and so sitting down she began to think and meditate on what Lord Momon would do.

She took a breath and sat down wincing as the throbbing pain in her hips still hadn't subsided trying to ignore it and go away in her minds eye from where she was to the tavern she wanted to go back to, hopefully seeing Lord Momon in passing.
Breathe in, breathe out.
He would be so brave and heroic investigating this cave as the stories of his bravery and heroic adventures were told all through the tavern and the town. One time he had single handely entered a spider infested mine and cleared it out, killing and burning an entire network of deadly barbed spiders, whose legs were barbed and fangs could pierce iron. Their webs were known to be as strong as steel wire and he didnt have any troubles. Inveria sighed heavily, wondering if she would ever reach though heights of strength, she wanted to protect people and become a legend but right now she felt worthless.
Breathe in, breathe out.
She had to remind herself that even Lord Momon was once a new recruit started as a copper ranked adventurer where he would face undead, though granted there werent many stories of his adventures before he became a legend, it was his heroic stories of killing legendary monsters and saving entire towns that gave him that status and made for more interesting tales. Lord Momon was the pinnacle that she wanted to reach, but she had to overcome this first, the meditation helping clear her mind and the whispers now seeming a bit more distant and further off.
Breathe in, breathe out.
She had to focus back on this cave and investigate further as to what this purple glow was, what had been happening in this area and she couldn't do that if she was injured and handicapped or struck with fear where a mistake could cost her, her life. Her mind had been panicked but after this nice sit down and focus on her goals thanks to her crush on Lord Momon, she had calmed down to focus back on the goal.
Breathe in, breathe out.
Standing up and opening her eyes, Inveria stretched her back after that nice meditation session feeling mentally refreshed and focused but her body was a different story, she would need to see just how badly she was moving at the moment before she proceeded.

Inveria looked down at her bandage that had been wrapped around her waist which was now a dark red where she had bled into and parts of the purple streaks had eeped their way from behind the bandage. She had a pained face as she moved her arms upwards which pulled on the skin and a paid rose up the side of her body with them, but lowering her arms almost seemed normal with no pain. Inveria began stretching to test out her range of motion with the wound she had on her hip so that she wouldn't agitate it because although she needed to move on, any movement that could cause the injury to reopen would just hurt her even further or slow her down. Her usual range of motion was only slightly hindered for her upper body, the wound on her hip not really affecting her upper body and arms, though this was obviously to be expected. It was going to be moving her lower body and any movement that was going to be a pain for her, especially if things got in a pinch and she had to run away. Inveria began to lightly stretch as she let her legs warm up trying to make sure that her hips remained in a neutral position to make sure they didnt bleed the wounds again.

After a good time stretching, Inveria began to perform more of a work out testing her strength to see how much would push her before the would would split open and so moving over to a few loose rocks of various sizes to lift them up over her head. The lighter ones weren't much of a problem, but as she reached the heavier ones, particularly the last two was when she struggled and her arms gave out. That was almost to be expected once again as she had just been through a bit of a struggle and hadn't even had something to eat or a day to recover, only a sit down to recover her breath, dress her wound then the meditation to focus herself up. The next challenge was going to hurt but she needed to do the work out to make sure that she still had enough strength in her legs if something could put her in a compromising position where she would need them.
It was awkward but putting the rocks up against the wall, Inveria laid down with her back on the floor then began testing if she could lift up the rocks with her legs giving a test of strength to her muscles in her lower body. Again it was to be expected but she struggled after the first rock, with a pain every time down her hip and through her leg as the muscles screamed as if on fire. She could feel sweat building up on her chest and forehead as she focused and concentrated on the work out, seeing what would be the limit of her legs. She began breathing heavy as the work out began taking its toll on her body, the strength training pushing her with the injury. It was tough but Inveria focused on what Lord Momon would be training like and wondered how he dealt with his injuries if he ever got any, as a rose flush went up into her cheeks.
Inveria wondered what else she could do for a work out to push herself one last time when it hit her, something she actually prided herself on which now might have taken a hit with the injury, which was her balance and so taking a breath she would begin taking poses to balance on a single foot while holding arms out and a leg in the opposite direction. She started with her non injured leg to make it a bit easier but even just stretching her leg outwards with the wound on it was causing sweat to roll down her cheek as there was a dull burning sensation of the muscles stretching again. Slowly returning back to the neutral position to let her body prepare, Inveria would shift her weight onto her damaged side and wince as the pain increased but she pushed through it. Stretching out once again extending her arms and other leg, she wobbled a bit before closing her eyes to focus her mind and force her body to listen to her mental command to ignore the pain and keep its balance. She was determined to keep her balance, a slight issue of pride mixed with determination to push through and make an imaginary Lord Momon who was watching her proud. Visualization to keep her balance and make sure she would work hard was a trick she learned a long time ago when first starting her training to become an adventurer. Sweat was actively now building up on her forehead and her breath was becoming laboured as Inveria slowly went back to the neutral position and bringing her body back standing. It was hard but the work out was good enough to test everything she needed and at least satisfied her to know she could continue or at least head back to the town. Wiping down her forehead with a loose bit of cloth from her bag, Inveria wondered just how silly she might have looekd if someone came in watching her do pilates and stretching in a dark cave. Inveria smirked at her own stupid image in her head before focusing back to the objective.

Despite everything so far, it was good experience for her and she wanted to continue, where she could at least know what she would need to work on and what to prepare for in future.

**To be continued...**

HP: 120 - 30 = 90
Chakra: 1540 - 30 - 30 -40 = 1440

End of mission.

  • Survive the boss creature.

The Necropolis trembled as the colossal boss monster closed the distance. Its massive form seemed to eclipse everything around it, and its malevolent presence was suffocating. Faye's heart pounded in her chest as she assessed the enormity of the challenge before her.

The boss monster wasted no time in launching its devastating assault. It unleashed a deafening roar that sent shockwaves rippling through the earth. Faye's instincts kicked in, and she leaped to the side, narrowly avoiding the tremors that shattered the ground beneath her. The creature's obsidian scales glinted ominously in the violet light, and it swung its colossal claw with calculated precision but missed.

The boss monster's eyes burned with malevolence as it prepared for its next attack. Faye, her determination unwavering, pushed herself to her feet. She knew that this battle was far from over, and she couldn't afford to hold anything back. With a deep breath, Faye shifted into an offensive stance. Her Golden Nightmare gleamed with an ethereal light as she swung unleashing a wave of liquid bismuth at the beast.

But the boss monster was not easily defeated. It reacted with blinding speed, countering Faye's attack with a thunderous roar that sent shockwaves that stopped the wave of molten metal. Its massive claw swung down, and Faye barely had time to react. The claw struck with bone-crushing force, sending Faye hurtling through the air. Pain seared through her body as she crashed into the ground, her vision swimming as she fought to stay conscious.

Faye rose from the ground, her body a canvas of pain. She knew she had to keep moving, to stay one step ahead of the colossal boss monster that threatened her existence. Despite the odds, she refused to yield. Her battered form moved with a stubborn grace, as she confronted the boss monster once more.

She circled the behemoth, her eyes locked onto its massive frame. The creature's obsidian scales seemed impenetrable, and its malevolent eyes watched her every move. This was no ordinary opponent; it was a force of nature. The boss monster lunged again, its colossal claw descending with brutal force. Faye Red Kama activated, granting her more speed, power and slowly healing her. Her new speed allowed her to easily avoid the devastating attack. The ground quaked as the claw struck, sending tremors rippling through the Necropolis.

Faye seized the opportunity, launching herself into a lightning-fast counterattack. Her blade cut through the air like a streak of lightning, aimed at the creature's vulnerable flank. But the boss monster was no stranger to combat. With a flick of its tail, it deflected Faye's strike, sending her skidding across the uneven terrain.

Faye moved with blinding swiftness, darting around the creature and delivering a series of rapid strikes. Her blade connected with the creature's scales, sending sparks flying. Although close range was risky, she wanted to find any weak spots or at least create some in the process. With a powerful swipe of its claw, the boss monster sent Faye tumbling through the air. She crashed against the Necropolis walls once more, this time however her durability was boosted by her Red Kama seal, she simply shrugged off the debris.

Yeah that’s not going to work anymore.” She taunted.

The relentless battle between Faye and the colossal boss monster had pushed them both to their limits. Faye, rejuvenated by the power of the Red Karma, faced an adversary whose obsidian scales proved nearly impenetrable.

The boss monster, sensing an opportunity, began to charge a massive attack. A swirling, purple ball of unknown energy formed in its gaping maw. It unleashed the destructive force towards Faye, who met it with a knowing smile.

"Heh, gotcha!"

Faye opened a rift in front of her, redirecting the energy into another dimension. Swiftly, she reopened the rift behind the monster, setting the stage for a devastating counterattack. The creature's own attack exploded against it, shattering its obsidian shell and causing it to roar in agony.

With a newfound resolve, Faye dashed towards the wounded monster, intent on seizing the opportunity to end the battle. But as she closed in, the Red Karma's power waned, leaving her vulnerable. The monster, wounded but not defeated, seized its chance. With a powerful swing of its colossal tail, it struck Faye squarely in the stomach, sending her tumbling across the ground. Blood oozed from her mouth as she gasped for breath.

The creature, driven by a primal desire to finish her off, lunged towards her, teeth bared and claws extended. However, Faye was not so easily defeated. In her moment of desperation, she summoned a barrier of shimmering xenon, creating a protective dome around herself that began to heal her just keeping her from the clutches of death.

The boss monster, in a fit of rage, clawed at the dome, shattering it to pieces. But Faye had already sprung into action. Her body was engulfed in a brilliant blue aura of medical chakra, mending her wounds further.

As the monster's claws tore through the barrier, Faye was already on her feet. Her muscles ached but she swiftly made her way across the monster's massive arm, leaping high into the air. The creature looked up, its massive form silhouetted against the ominous backdrop of the Necropolis.

As the vortex drew in debris and the hapless creature itself, the boss monster's desperation grew. It dug its massive claws into the ground, a futile attempt to resist the inevitable.

"Your free trial has ended, please purchase the full version!"

Faye's xenon orbs struck the creature with an explosive impact, reminiscent of an aggressive reminder of the fine print in a contract. The beast's grip on the ground crumbled, leaving it helpless against the irresistible pull of the swirling abyss. As the climactic explosion unfolded, it was as if a grand finale had been set off.

Amidst the dazzling spectacle, Faye found herself sent crashing to the ground by the shockwave of the explosion. Her breathing was heavy, her body battered and exhausted. But she had triumphed, and her resilience had proved unyielding in the face of a colossal foe.

Seraphina, ever the silent companion, remained in awe of the young katsuryoku's indomitable spirit and determination. She got an idea that just might work with Faye.

Chakra: 80 for level 1, 100 for level 2.
Damage: ( Varies depending on Level )
Description: Kāma, a seal that normally serves as a compressed backup of an Ōtsutsuki that they can embed in the body of a chosen recipient to transform into should they sustain fatal injuries, is capable of being placed on entities that are not considered proper vessels. Such individuals are unable to serve as a receptacle for the Ōtsutsuki's soul and thus cannot be used for the process of reincarnation, but retain its other traits, gaining tremendous power and abilities. When activated, this Red Kāma significantly enhances the user's physical abilities and power as well as allows the usage of Kāma Rift as well as Nesaku. They can also make use of Kāma to absorb enemy's attacks like ninjutsu and large-scale explosions. Unlike the normal seal, this variant only has 2 levels, differentiated between the power gain and the manifestion of a horn that grows across their head similar to a headband but spiked in the middle, extending over the top of the head towards the spine.

  • Level 1: The lowest level, this version simply creates black markings across the user's body, and increases all of their Ninjutsu and Taijutsu by +20. This level also allows the user to cause explosions of built up chakra and allows the user the ability to absorb Ninjutsu containing up to 30 chakra regardless of rank up to 3 times ( once per turn ). The user gains a doubled speed as well as a durability capable of reducing 15 damage from techniques. He also becomes capable of healing 10 damage per turn.
  • Level 2: This level, containing the same markings as before but with them now stretching up the arm and allowing the user to grow a small horn, likewise allows the user to increase their physical attacks and Ninjutsu by +30. Their Kāma now allows the user the ability to absorb any Ninjutsu of 50 chakra and below regardless of rank up to 3 times ( once per turn ) and the use of Kāma Rift. The user gains a 3x speed boost as well as a durability capable of reducing 25 damage from techniques. He also becomes capable of healing 15 damage per turn.
Note: Kāma cannot absorb non-chakra based physical matter, such as non chakra based viruses or natural existing water from a river being manipulated, thus becoming a vulnerability towards such attacks and weapons.
Note: Only Custom Characters with Red Kāma can use this.
Note: Can only be activated a max of 3 times. Level 1 lasts up to 6 turns while Level 2 can only be used a max of 4 turns. Level 2 can only be used one time. Collectively, this technique can only last a max of 7 turns each use before timing out.
Note: After absorption, the user is only able to use 2 jutsu the next turn.

( Kāma Hame ) - Karma Rift
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 50
Damage: N/A
Description: This technique is a Space–Time Ninjutsu used by those with access to Kāma. The user creates a rift, which allows anyone enveloped to transfer to a chosen location including foreign dimensions. The rift's formation is fast enough to catch targets off guard and transport them alongside the user, as well as to evade attacks from enemies at the last moment. Two Kāma recipients can collaboratively manifest the rift from their marks to bypass barriers. The rift's formation is fast enough for catch targets off guard, teleporting as close as 5 meters away and if in contact with them, transport them alongside himself when teleporting.
Note: Can only be used once every 2 turns and requires Kāma to be active.
Note: Can only be used by Kawaki, Boruto, Jigen and custom bios with Red Kāma
Note: Can only be used 3 times in Level 2 and 4 times in Level 3.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short
Chakra: 40 (-10 per usage)
Damage: N/A (+15 Health Per Turn)
Description: Whirlwind Guard is a technique used as a defensive barrier that heals minor damage. The user will do a set of three handseals, causing a Xenon barrier to instantly erect around the user. Doing this will create an incredible amount of xenon to surround the user, destroying techniques that come in contact with it. Upon being inside the orb barrier, the Xenon will quickly enter the users body, causing an instant anesthetic affect but the user doesnt falls asleep. This tricks the body into thinking the body is resting in deep sleep healing the users close minor wounds while also healing all the same. Upon being inside the Orb, the user is able to utilize techniques that dont require extreme focus to keep the technique active.
Note: Technique last for 3 turns before dispersed
Note: Can use twice per battle with a two turn cool down
Note: While this is active, the user's elements are limited to Xenon and its components, and their Medical techniques are limited to A-Rank and below.
Note: All small wounds are healed upon activation. (No major organ repair)

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Chakra: 40
Range: Short-Long
Damage: 80
Description: The user creates a Xenon vortex that begins to suck opponents and objects alike inwards towards them. The vortex then bursts outwards sending all the debris and opponents it sucked in flying. The user at any point from the vortex’s creation to its explosion shoots out of their hands, dense Xenon orbs, in the form of twin gatling gun-like shots. Upon impact they burst causing small xenon explosions. The user can choose to do a sweeping motion for a larger AoE or simply aim their shots at the intended target
Note: Can only be used 3 times
Note: Can only be taught by El Alucard

( Iryō Ninjutsu: Iryō Mōdo ) - Medical Technique: Medical Mode
Type: Supplementary
Rank: A
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 30 ( -30 per turn )
Damage points: N/A ( Heals up to 50 damage per turn )
Description: After forming 4 hand seals, this mode envelops the user in a flowing blue chakra and allows them to constantly heal themselves in the midst of battle while at the same time boosting their stamina and vitality as it replenishes their strength and health. The limitation of the technique in terms of healing is it's low speed and inability to heal lost limbs. The technique lasts for three turns before deactivation.
Note: Must have medical training.
Note: Can only be used twice per event.

( Entropoton: Mugen no Sokumen ) Entropy ∞ Aspect of Infinity (REF)

Mission End.

HP: 160 - (10 +10) = 140
Chakra: 1360 - (10 + 30 + 30 + 30 +20 + 1) = 1230
Post marks the beginning of a new Mission with the following element(s): Vanquish a large horde of Void Beasts within the Necropolis (S-rank).

Injured and lost, Arjuna shuffled further into the Necropolis' bowels. Violent sounds echoed throughout the tunnels, shook the walls, from all the others doing their best to contain the Void. One sound in particular grew louder with each second: A low rumbling with a thousand chittering teeth... He'd seen them before, during the explosion of light when he felled the previous Void creature. At the time he'd only seen their many eyes leering at him from the shadows but now, as if sensing he'd been hurt, they practically hurled themselves at him, fang and claw.

Arjuna closed his eyes a moment. This is where I ought to be. He clapped his hands together in a single hand seal and channeled Seraphic Water chakra to release a focused stream of the element from his mouth. With the narrowness of the Necropolis tunnels to consider, Arjuna would angle the stream like a firehose while also infusing his Sound chakra into it, creating a piercing torrent of extremely high pressure and heat which carried next to no sound as it bubbled and frothed across the ground. The first few Void creatures that ran headfirst into the torrent disappeared in its steam and did not re-emerge. As the wave continued through and decimated their ranks a chorus of howls rang out from the horde. The smarter ones among them latched on to the walls and ceilings and continued their advance there. Though Arjuna still new nothing of the creatures, it seemed they carried physical bodies capable of being destroyed--as well as the fear of it. This made him smirk. They were mortal, after all.

After the steam cleared Arjuna saw that he did little to their overall numbers, but even a little was enough. He formed five hand seals and manifested a brilliant aura of purple Prana around his body that quickly condensed into full-body armor. He would not let them or
anything from this cursed place touch him again. From the space around his shoulders grew two extra arms as horns made of the energy jutted from the Prana helmet that protected his head, allowing Shiva's likeness as he took on the form of the many-armed god of destruction. With renewed vigor the Berserker dashed toward the incoming horde, which he could see by now as at least a hundred hound-like creatures of varying sizes. With his Prana surrounding him he had little fear for their savage claws, but their sheer numbers gave cause for concern. He would form curved tulwars in each hand including the ones that didn't belong him and brandish them against the horde. He crouched and then jumped to slice the first Void hound clean in two. A number of them scrambled on top of each other to reach him almost instantly afterward but he would grip all four blades and begin spinning whilst slashing at the creatures around and below him as he fell, his body no more than a violet blur. Each strike carried immense force due to the nature of Prana, which allowed him to mow through the cluster closest to him without losing momentum or sight of the end goal. He told himself he would be the one to seal whatever gaping wound spawned the Void creatures; why else did he get that desperate message all those moons ago?

One of the Void hounds latched onto the armor around his leg as soon as he stopped spinning and began thrashing about as it to tear it off. Arjuna shuddered to imagine what it would have done to his exposed leg. He would jerk his foot upward whilst driving the pommel of one of his swords into the hound's skull, ending the creature instantly. But this only emboldened the rest, and soon Arjuna found himself overrun by the horde, each creature gnawing at some perceived weakness on his body like his hands and face. One of them even ripped a tulwar from the grip of one of his extra hands. As they latched on to the Prana armor in their numbers Arjuna would spike his chakra yet again, causing a multitude of sword spikes to erupt from all over and skewer the Void hounds. He would then use this as his chance to start moving again, darting towards the end of the tunnel whilst slashing and spinning at the hounds around him. Throughout his barrage he noticed one of the hounds, in its dying act, bite at the joint where the extra arm emerged from the armor, causing it to disperse. Cursing to himself whilst also praying for more of Shiva's grace, Arjuna tossed that hand's tulwar into the previously disarmed one and struck the insolent beast down. Though it was pointless: there were so many of them that even one dying in exchange for one of his arms was a concession he was not happy about, for it tipped the scales massively in their favor. Down to three hands and three swords he quickly counted the hounds left: roughly fifty or so remaining, be wouldn't allow himself to see this as an advantage. They were legion, endless. He was only one man.

And like all mortal men, Arjuna began to tire. His swords were sharp, as was his mind, but they were just too many. He became slow... worried. No, not when he'd only started this journey, surely not so soon. Arjuna mustered all that he had, gripping his three swords and began hacking at the endless wave around him, abandoning all signs of form or cadence. For once he sought freedom from rationality. These creatures didn't deserve proper deaths--they were barely even proper lifeforms. He yells at the god-forsaken walls of Irkalla and begins clearing his way deeper into the tunnel. With his strikes becoming more lethal he spent more strength from the little he had, all the while regressing to savagery. No thinking, just killing. The simplicity in purpose.

Soon each blade was dispatching one Void hound per swing, and with three swings occurring every second, the horde thinned and thinned, until only stragglers remained. The cowards who'd hoped to get a piece of the kill without doing the work. Now they scurried on all their misshapen limbs toward the same place Arjuna went: the end of the tunnel--further into the Underworld. But at his current state the Berserker would neglect this as important news and instead make his way to each of them and finish what they'd started. When he was done he tossed the battered swords onto the ground which caused them to disperse. Not long after his arms dispersed as well, and then the armor. Arjuna retrieved the glowing shard from his sleeve and gripped in his palm, allowing its light to guide him the rest of the way. Slowly he would regain reason, but until the creeping dread of the tunnels were behind him he would remain the brute he needed to be...

(Serafimu no Kyōgi-kai) Council of The Seraphim
Type: Supplementary/Defensive/Offensive
Rank: C-S (A) (S)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra cost: 15-40 (-10 per turn) (30) (40)
Damage: 30-80 (60) (80)
Description: The most basic technique of the special element. By focusing Seraphic Water chakra throughout the body and/or surrounding earth/water bodies, the user is able to create constructs of flowing Seraphic Water. These can range from simple waves, domes, walls, and pillars while the element can even be made dense enough to form traditional weaponry like kunai and swords, as well as other complex shapes. They can be formed from water sources as well as the ground within mid ranged of the user. The size of these creations are directly proportional to the amount of chakra expended with S ranked variants ranging as big as the canon 'Water Bullet Technique'. As per the properties of Seraphic Water, whenever the element comes in contact with any of if its strong to elements, namely organic matter like people or insects, the brine can suck away the moisture present within these things, leaving behind empty husks. With the seal of confrontation the user can manipulate/maintain control of said constructs up to long ranged of his person.
Note (s):
- S ranked version can only be used 3× per match and requires the Ram hand seal to perform.
- No A-Rank or above Seraphic Water techniques on the next turn (if the S-Rank version is used)
- A rank usage requires the ram handseal

(Oto-Seraphumizuton: Eikō no Koe no Sandarufon) - Sound/Seraphic Water Release: Sandolphon's Voice of Glory
Type: Supplementary
Rank: B
Range: N/A
Chakra cost: (+20 to technique)
Damage: N/A
Description: Using Seraphic Water's unique relationship with Sound, Voice of Glory is meant to supplement the element through a passive infusion. When performing a Seraphic Water technique the user may infuse a trace amount of their Sound chakra by paying extra chakra (+20) and have acoustic vibrations propagate throughout the affected jutsu. These are high energy, Destructive Sound Waves that are absorbed by the Seraphic Water and converted into heat energy. This allows the technique being performed up to A-ranked to gain a rank boost and +20 for S-ranked techniques. Vouce of Glory is incompatible with Forbidden ranked Seraphic Water techniques. The first perk that the affected jutsu gains with this infusion is an almost total lack of sound, similar to (Seraphumizuton: Bōsei no Hasmed; Shizuka Shōkyo)- Seraphic Water: Tyranny of Hasmed; Silent Erasure. This is because the sound waves are being absorbed and converted as quickly as they're produced, which leads to the second minor perk which is heat. Voice of Glory allows the affected Seraphic Water technique to be many times over the boiling point of regular water, thanks to its heat capacity of over a thousand degrees, able to burn and dessiccate opponents at the same time. The user will be unable to perform any other Sound techniques above A-ranked during the turn Voice of Glory is actiavted. Can be performed four times with a turn cool down in between uses.

(Kanki: Kigen no Kamigami) – Surge of Evocation: Era of Gods
Type: Offensive/Defensive/Supplementary
Rank: D-S (A)
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 10-40 (30)
Damage Points: N/A
Description: This technique encompasses the basic applications of the Surge of Evocation. The Surge of Evocation is the usage of Prana in its raw and unrefined form; whatever this Prana touches is transformed into ethereal energy and transported to the Throne. Prana will neutralize and be neutralized by techniques that possess the same amount of chakra. Similarly it will be useless against attacks of greater chakra and will not be weakened by techniques of lower chakra. However when used on living targets this ambient energy will feel extremely frigid to the touch and induce cold burns on contact or even freeze a target solid for higher ranked applications. D to B-Rank uses will inflict cold burns as well as all of the effects of frostbite. A-Rank uses will cause necrosis of the afflicted parts of the body, making them appear dark purple and bruised to signify the death of cells. Affected appendages and organs will cease to function, becoming completely immobile in the case of limbs. S rank uses will freeze the struck targets solid. In the case of Surgebinders, who are immune to all of the above effects, they will be transported to the Throne when struck by the prana of another member of their clan. Era of Gods can be split into three separate applications, all based on the same principle: constructs, armors, and familiars made of prana energy.

Pride of Gilgamesh – Gates of Babylon
The Pride of Gilgamesh allows the user to produce Prana either from the user’s body or on the battlefield. The Prana can only be manifested within short-range of the opponent if the user is also within that range, in which it must be created a minimum of one meter away. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body, rather than manifest it away from themselves. The energy can be released from the body via various hand signs depending on the user's rank in the clan. This can be done to generate constructs bound only by the rank of technique used and one’s imagination; alternatively the user can simplify the application by creating streams, waves, and constructs of Prana. Manifested Prana is capable of taking solid form, granting tangibility at the user’s volition. Non-projectile uses of this technique are capable of levitating and can be governed through mental commands and a sustained chakra cost. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. Created constructs will last three turns per usage unless they are prematurely cancelled. S-Rank applications can only be used once every three turns and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Embrace of Ishtar – Armory of Akkadia
This variant allows the user to manifest armors, auras, and coatings of Prana around their body. This can be used to enshroud a single or multiple body parts in a layer of colored energy. These defenses can be made to fit the body like conventional armors or enveloping it in a formless manner. The first type can be created with additional limbs and appendages such as wings which enable flight. The user can also constantly reshape it and create small-scale weapons from the body of the armor, though at the cost of one of the user's three moves. It should be noted that these constructs remain attached to the main body of the armor and so act as an extension of it. The second type generates a “flowing aura” that appears to flicker like an open flame. This aura is often made as an upwards column that is streamed into the sky with its base remaining around the user. It should be noted that its power is not split or divided as all of the Prana energy is part of one whole. The armors can exhibit tangibility, although this does not hinder the user’s techniques and their passing which can freely move in and out of the armor per the user’s will. B-Rank and below applications require being sustained with 5 chakra per turn while A and S Ranks require 10 chakra per turn. This technique can last a maximum of three turns. S-Rank applications can be used twice per battle. After an S-Rank application expires the user is unable to utilize Prana single turn.

Divinity of Merlin – Garden of Avalon
The Divinity of Merlin allows the user to produce Prana in the same way as the Pride of Gilgamesh and can be shaped in the same way, limited by rank and imagination. However, unlike the Pride of Gilgamesh which creates static constructs the Divinity of Merlin creates constructs imbued with a limited form of sentience – familiars. These familiars can be created anywhere on the battlefield, with the exception of short-range of the opponent unless the user is also within that range; in this case the familiar cannot be created within two meters of the opponent. This restriction does not apply if the user chooses to release the Prana from their body. Familiars are capable of taking numerous shapes, not simply limited to animals. These familiars are also capable of taking solid form at the user’s volition. Familiars are capable of remaining on the battlefield for four turns. B-Ranks and below are sustained through 5 chakra per turn, A-Ranks and above require 10 chakra per turn. S-Rank applications can only be used twice times per battle and no Prana in the user’s next turn.

Note: The upper echelon of the clan (Servants and above) are capable of using this technique without hand signs for B-rank and below. A-rank will require two hand signs and S-rank requires three.
Note: The lower tier clan members (Phantasms to Guardians) will require 5 to 3 hand seals for all ranks, decreasing as they they ascend in rank.

Explore the Necropolis (B-Rank)

Mission Start

Lio felt like he had entered somewhere he should not be. The air had a twisted feeling to it that cause his gut to stir uncomfortably. He couldn't quite place what made him feel this way, was it an energy, or maybe it was the eerie absence of sound. It was the smell. This place smelled like death, an aroma he was all to familiar with. He was unsure if he should continue his way further into the hellscape when something caught in his periphery. The crystal. it was....glowing? Wait was it? Almost immediately as he had put his full attention onto the crystal, it had the glow ceased.

"The crystal is somehow involved with a place like this?!"

Completely shocked by this development, he stood quietly for a moment, taking in this new piece of information. Nothing else had appeared to change, so what was it about this place that would cause such a reaction. And if the reaction was happening here, why would the crystals have formed on the Moon Isle? Too many questions and not enough answers. He would need to go further to continue discovering new information. Taking a breath in and exhaling, he resolved himself and pressed forward.

Several minutes pass by...

Lio was amazed by this place. Wherever this place was, it was incredible. The natural formations that sprung from the floor and the ceiling, the small crevices in the wall that almost looked like they shed a faint purple light from within, but as Lio went to inspect them, no light could be found. As he walked, something else started to catch his eye. Signs of combat. Scorch marks along the wall and ground, slashes along some rock outcrops, blood splatter. Kneeling down closer to the ground, he gently ran his fingers along the splatter, it was dry. But he could see that it fell when someone was standing in place, maybe they had been pierced while in close quarters.

This was beginning to feel ominous. The blood was dry, so it had been awhile since this had occurred. But the fact that there was no corpse would mean, both parties involved got away, or finished the fight somewhere else. It also dawned on him, that something could have taken the corpse away. Giving the aesthetic of the environment, it would not be unheard of that there would be some form of creature, or monstrosities within the cavernous maze. Lio would have to start being more careful from this point onward, and try his best not to draw any undue attention.

"Byakugan."

He whispered to himself as he activated the first stage to his doujutsu, if he found trouble he would go further into his Tenseigan, but for now what he needed was the range of vision the Byakugan bestowed upon him. Almost immediately, Lio had to clutched his head in pain. The sheer extent of the caves was overwhelming, and all that information was trying to process all at the same time in he head. His nose started to drip blood as he quickly shifted into his Tenseigan, (move used) decreasing his vision range exponentially and also decreasing the overload of info in his head to bearable tolerance.

Wiping the blood that had drip down from his nose, Lio sat back against a small rock cluster, taking deep breaths. He was recalling small portions of the cave system, segments at a time to be able to process the sheer amount of information. The thing that stood out to him was something that was directly up ahead. A large cavernous open dome like 'room', for a lack of a better word. It seemed quite large, but it almost looked like it had buildings within it, crude and rough makeshift structures. Was there....civilisation in this place? Were they friendly, or perhaps.....they were the ones who did this. Looking around him at remnants of the fight that took place. Either way, he still needed to be careful. One wrong move here would most likely cost him his life.

Slowly getting to his feet, Lio leaned against the outcrop to support himself as his head begun to spin. Taking a moment to calm himself, he moved forward. He had come this far, he wasn't going to back down now. Especially since one of his questions could be answered as soon as he reaches that cavern.

It wasn't long before he reached his destination. Instead of heading straight into the cavern, he remembered there was a small outcrop of rocks near the entrance. He would hide behind there and examine the surrounding area, check to see if it were safe enough for him. He didn't want to be ambushed by someone...or something. Leaning up against the outcrop, he tossed up the idea of using his Byakugan again, but the memory of what happened just before still strong enough to effect his judgement, he refrained from that decision. Turning to peak over the edge of the rocks he stopped. Sweat beginning to drip across his brow. In his periphery, there was... something. Staring at him.

"Awww sh*t."

Jutsu Used

Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 15 (+5 per turn to keep active)
Damage: N/A
Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.

To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.

Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon one month having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.

Type: Supplementary
Rank: S
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: N/A ( -10 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: The Tenseigan (転生眼, Literally meaning: Reincarnation Eye) is a powerful dōjutsu utilized by the Ōtsutsuki clan. The combination of the Byakugan and the chakra of an Ōtsutsuki clan member can evolve the Byakugan into the Tenseigan, resulting in the loss of the Byakugan's quasi-omnidirectional and distanced vision. The Tenseigan allows the user to control both attractive and repulsive forces, similar to the Rinnegan's Deva Path. The user's eyes are on the same level as the Mangekyou Sharingan in terms of tracking and chakra perception. Additionally, it also grants the wielder the ability to use Tenseigan Chakra Mode; gaining additional increases in speed, agility and power.
Note: Requires activation (spending move) for Otsutsuki bios but remains active indefinitely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having a complete Otsutsuki bio with Tenseigan for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. User needs to have activated Byakugan before and had it active for 1 full turn.
Note: Toneri is unable to deactivate his upon it's activation, becoming his default eye state.
Note: When active, the user loses all access to Byakugan related abilities and instead gains Tenseigan effects.

Defend yourself from a creature of the Void (A-Rank)

Mission Start

"Awww sh*t."

It was spoken out of pure habit and reflex. He hadn't even realised the words had left his mouth until he saw the creature before him smile with a wicked grin, sharp teeth showing and drool dripping from his exposed tongue. It lunged. Lio sprung himself backwards down towards the exit, barely avoiding the sharp, almost serrated claw that had been aimed for his head. What the hell was this speed?! Even with his Tenseigan active, he was barely able to see its movements!

He had little time to think as a follow up attack had already begun by the creature. It pounced upwards and in an arc came down to were Lio was squatting, slashing its claw upon its descent. Purely on reflex, he arced his body back with his arms outstretched, pushing off the ground into a back handspring as the claw came slashing down to his previous location, his legs delayed slight as to deliver a swift kick to the chin of the creature mid manoeuvre. As soon as his feet planted themselves firmly on the ground he gathered his chakra into his left hand, and held it outreached toward the creature as it began to pounce again.

"Liquid Fire Release: Flowing Fire Spear!"

Within the palm of his hand, three small tendrils made of green-ish, purple-ish liquid fire begun to squirm and wiggle before they expanded and shot out towards the creature at what would seem faster then Lio anticipated. 1 tendril would impale the creature while the other two would wrap around its upper and lower body in an attempt to restrain in. Lio noticed that the tendril that was aimed to pierce its flesh had made no significant dent against its skin. What was this thing made out of?!

Fine, if it didn't like penetration, he would just have to sear it to a crisp and smash it to a pulp. Using the creatures forward momentum, Lio used the tendrils like a lasso and begun to swing the creature over his head, in a make shift judo throw technique, slamming it into the ground. That was his plan at least. As the creature was over his head, it managed to break itself free from its restraints and aim another monster claw attack at his head. Whilst maintaining the momentum of his throw, Lio would continue into a forward roll, narrowly avoiding the claw as it came down. Dust and debris sprayed across his face, distracting him long enough for the creature to land a swift kick to his side, sending him flying across the floor into the opposing wall.

Lio grunted as the impact knocked the breath out of him, his vision shaky as he quickly go to his feet, the creature staring at him with twisted delight. He finally got to have a second to clearly see what he was facing. The creature was about 6 and a half to 7 feet tall, 2 dark eyes that looked almost sunken into its face. It was bipedal but looked like it could go faster if it ran on all fours, sharp claws at least 30 cm or more long. Lio would be needing a lot of help of he were to be skewered by those things, the thought of it alone made him shudder. The creature seemed to also be sizing him up, while also adjusting its position slightly.

"Looks like it's getting ready to pounce..." he thought to himself as his frustration and his anger began to rise "COME ON! BRING IT YOU BASTARD!!! "

His intuition was correct, as soon as he finished his taunt, the creature crouched down low to the ground, and sprung like a spring towards Lio. Having anticipated this, Lio also had mentally prepared his next course of action. As the creature lunged forward, he jumped up and backwards, landing up on the wall, chakra flowing through his feet to keep him attached to the surface. He then launched himself up and over the incoming monster who, at that speed would find it difficult to change its trajectory. Landing a small distance away from the creature, he spun into a squat and begun to gather his chakra within his stomach.

The creature slammed into the wall with a great amount of force, but not enough to distract it from its prey, spinning around it instinctively leaped high into the air, arcing towards Lio. Exactly has he had hoped. Lio drew his chakra from his stomach and released it all together from his mouth into a large torrent of spiralling green-purple flames.

"Liquid Fire Release: Destruction Torrent!"

Upon making contact with the creature, it would be be forcibly pushed back by the extreme pressure of the torrent, slamming into the roof of the cavern and as it fell to the floor, would be enveloped by the persistent flames. Immediately after he had released the technique, Lio had dashed up the cavern path, using the walls to his advantage to avoid any of the remaining flames that burned along the floor. He could hear the screams of the creature as it fought to escape from its position, this next thing would have to be enough to finish it off, as he had already used a considerable amount of chakra more than he wish he had.

Gathering more chakra within himself, he would circulate it like crashing waves around his stomach before sending out a big jet of light blue-green water, directly at the burning being.

"Water Release: Water Horn!"

Lio braced himself for the incoming blast and the following shockwave. He should be far enough from the creature for it to effect him very little, but just in case he was also prepared to take some damage if it meant this thing would just die already. As the jet of water spiralled through the air towards its target, time almost felt like it was standing still. Probably a combination of anticipation and adrenaline pumping through his system, he could see the exact moment the water made contact.

The reaction was much brighter then he thought, also a lot bigger then he predicted. As soon as contact was made, a loud and resonating blast ruptured through the cavern, shaking and breaking parts of the walls and ceilings. The concussive shockwave hit Lio like a wall of pure air, blowing him out of his braced stance, lifting him up and flinging him like a common ragdoll down the path, landing hard on the ground once, continuing to roll at great speed until he slammed into a wall, completely knocking the wind out of him. His head was ringing and his vision was blurry, but he needed to know if it was finally over. His eyes slowly regaining their stability as he peered back towards where the explosion took place...no movement. No sound. Concentrating he searched using his visual prowess, sensing no sign of the monster.

It was over. Finally. Lio looked himself over as he caught his breath. He wasn't too damaged, but he definitely took more then he wished he had. His ribs ached now that he was slowing down and the adrenaline was leaving his system. He wasn't practiced in medical jutsu and he hadn't really broken any bones before, let alone any ribs. All he knew was that it ached, sometimes release a sharp pain if he moved a certain way.

"What even was that thing? And why would it be hanging around by itself...."

Whilst pondering this question, Lio could hear something faint somewhere off in the distance. It was hard to pinpoint because of the echoing sounds. Wait. Echoing sounds.....if he could hear things from that far away, or that close by.......what else in this cave system just heard the rumblings of a large explosion..

He would not have to ponder for long, as the sounds that echoed began to get louder, and it sounds like a lot of something was coming. The scream is what made him understand the severity of his situation now. The screams were the same as the creature he had just slain...

"F*ck..."
