I would prefer Teuchi to be the mystery man than Kabuto.
His "death recipe" is supposed to give vitality without any pound of fat.
But,
Teuchi would go without his little sandals?
The 2 horns you are talking about are not horns but chakra flames like the mystery guy's chakra silhouette have on his arm and his shoulders.

Who says that the sage's horns aren't horns of chakra? Similar to how jutsu are often chakra in solid form.
