I'd love for him to get out of Izanami but the only way that occurs is a giving up his dreams of adding more power to himself. If he does this then he can revert back to the soul he was intended to be and not the tool used by others or the person trying desperately to learn the truth of Jutsu by adding to himself. For him to trick his way out of Izanami would be a tragedy. Also, we got Kabuto's whole back story. You get that in Narutoverse you're done.

Lets try to piece together of what we know about this mysterious appearance.

1. We know that Tobirama does not know who the mystery man is, so its most unlikely that Hashirama knows him either.

2. Karin can't identify his chakra so it can't be anyone connected to Orochimaru.

3. If you noticed, the mystery man is completely barefooted and seems to have roughened up feet which means he has been in a fight or took part of the battle during the war.


4. It can't possibly be an Edo Tensei since Itachi took care of that (plus you would see cracks in his skin on his feet).

5. Judging by his feet and the posture of the figure shown when Karin was sensing his chakra, the mystery guy is someone who is still young.


So in other words, its got to be someone that isn't connected with Orochimaru or Hashirama/Tobirama, they most likely took part in the war or was in a fight, someone who is young and Karin says she has a bad feeling about the person which means it might be someone who might want to take Sasuke's eyes. Of course this is speculation so take my assumption with a grain of salt.
