What was the relationship with the brothers and their father y does the teacher dont like his father nor trust him and y the drug addict brother is like whatever to his sad and y the brothers mad at each other?

watch the movie again...actually listen to when people are talkin then maybe you will understand...dont just watch it for the fight scenes....

they didnt like there father when they where younger because he was an alcoholic and treated them and there mother badly.... the teacher doesnt like the father because he never believed in him his father only cared about tommy (drug addict brother) and the brothers dont like each other because the teacher brother wasnt around when there mother died and that hurt his younger brother because big bro bailed on him

Tommy had the one friend who was killed by friendly fire, which made him sad and caused him to leave and go awol. While he was running out of Iraq, he saw that one soldier's unit trapped in a sinking tank and he ripped the door off of it and saved them, but he left before they could get out and thank him, which is why the guy was freaking out when he found out who he was.

the part that made me really sad was when the father was drunk and just cried and tom just hold him like he was sorry for the things that he said to him at the casino he hold his father tight that made me wonder if tom forgave his father
