I just had a derpstorm, what if instead of the Mugen Tsukoyomi being cast, a Mugen Rinne Tensei is cast, reviving all the characters who died since the start of the series: Minato, Kushina, Hiruzen. Asuma, Oro's parents, Itachi, the Uchiha Clan,Jiraiya, Neji, Gaara's mom, Rin, etc. BUT the tremendous amount of chakra needed would entail the collective Bijuus to sacrifice themselves to perform the Jutsu, Kurama and Naruto bid goodbye to each other, the Bijuus/Juubi vanishes, Naruto is given a second happier life to be with his parents, he becomes the Savior of the World and is given the title of Hokage, and they lived happily ever after, what do you guys think? Is that an awesome ending or a very cliche or cheesy ending?

Ive had a biting suspicion that we will see another rinne tensei jutsu as well but i never thought of it utilizing the power of bijuus. That would of course be a terribly cliche ending.

That would make me want to locate Kishi and let him talk to my baseball bat.

Well since the juubi which is the collective bijuu is the battery source of mugen tsukoyomi, they/it could also be the energy source of Mugen Rinne Tensei

Just like the invasion of pain arc ending? :D
Yeah pretty much exactly like that. Like Obito becomes jinchuriki of the Juubi and is about to perform infinite tsukuyomi but talk no jutsu strikes again from Naruto and he uses rinne tensei instead.

I actually think it would be amazing and quite nice if pulled off the right way.

But Obito will first need to get stronger to be able to cast such a jutsu, so he will first have to train with Urahara to get bankai and then learn the art of using Haki from Rayleigh. Porunga the dragon of Namek will be needed to grant him some more energy, so Obito will use his s/t jutsu to visit Namek and gather some dragon balls (oh you pervs...).

I personally think dead characters should stay dead imo. It would be rather cliche to have deaths that have meaning (Neji's) lose their meaning in an instant.

Well, since we're seeing the initial signs of Oro turning good, maybe the revival of his parents would be a good gift to him eh? xd

"Saccharine bittersweet"? You're essentially saying "sweet bittersweet". That's redundant, sir. The quality of sweetness is already described in the term "bittersweet".

Oh, should've read the OP. I thought it would only revive characters that died in the War.

Yes!! and then Kishi will come flying on his flying Pig, wielding his magical pencil and declare to the world how this fairy tail has come to a happy ending. And then he'll draw a huge dildo on Sasuke's face.
