Overall? Shikaku without a doubt


Unfortunately kakashi himself said that he's as smart as shikimaru...

Itachi, minato etc, it's all debatable whether they are smarter than kakashi or the same in terms of intelligence..

So we have

Shikaku > Itachi=Minato=Kakashi>= Shikimaru

I'd work along with this.

I've seen some people putting Shino on their list and not even Oro. What the **** seriously?
Oro is by far the smartest character in NV, he's the most brillant scientist and his knowledge surpass anyone's mind.

yeah yeah itachi was so intelligent that he was so certain of what he is talking about that madara was alive lol
itachi love his brother too much that he choose sasuke over the village. even saying that its up to sasuke what he gonna do or what decision hell make he still loves him. lol what kind of logic is that. itachi disappointed me

Shikaku>Shikamaru>Itachi in raw intelligence.

This is pretty accurate, however i still give itachi the edge simply because he doesn't need a prep time meditation to come up with a plan. even in the heat of the moment, almost 100% defeat itachi was able to not only have a pep talk with naruto with CT gravity, he was able to easily explain how to counter it as if it were no big deal. where as shika has been in moments where he had no idea wtf to do until he had a brief time to himself.

It should be Hagoromo. He's been watching everything since his death. And considering it was thousands of years ago I'd expect him to be the most intelligent being in Narutoverse.
