Pain..he went into the leave village without giving a f***..left kakashi in the brink of death n then destroyed the village..n then took on naruto n 6 tails naruto up to 8 he made oro's fight with the 4 tails look like child's play.

Yea that was gangsta charging in and messing the village up! But he was ordered to, and they were puppets so that takes some of the cred away.

i think kisame os one of the most BA shinobis. his style was great and alongside samehada were awsome, even more than bee. he was huge, great amount of chakra, considered the strongest of the 7 swordsman, and he quickly figured out that yagura wasn't the real mizukage when he met tobi, not to mension his last fight with guy where he bit his tongue so he couldn't give information away.

There are so many bada** shinobi in the narutoverse, yet i think and always will believe that Jiraiya is the most bada** shinobi, thought we didn't see much from him. Itachi fled with Kisame after something kinda like a staredown (multiple reasons), Jiraiya has a bada** attitude in battle yet he is super perverted and cool. Also he took on Pein with no knowledge of his abilities or how many bodies he had, yet he took him on like a BOSS and killed 3 bodies, and 1 body twice... No matter what you say, i will always think that is epicly bada**

yea that was cool and brave and quiet an acomplishment but it wasn't gangsta enough. Compared to the others I listed like zabuza and hanzou it's nothing!

Now I look at this poll again, why didn't Pain get his special slot?

The dude wiped out an ENTIRE VILLAGE with just one technique. The guy easily PWNED Kakashi for f*ck's sake. Regardless of what happened before or afterwards, I'd say that's pretty badass, and that move alone lands him a spot in my top 3.

The only reason Naruto won that fight was because of shitty plot no jutsu.

Minato Namikaze goes down as the most impressive shinobi within the entire series, in my opinion. He was just so incredibly unstoppable that it's beyond comprehension. And unlike most of the other ninjas:

1. He didn't possess a powerful kekkai genkai.
(i.e. Sharingan, Shikotsumyaku)
2. He wasn't a host of a powerful tailed beast.
(i.e. Nine-Tailed Fox, Shukaku)
3. He in no way resorted to pills, medication or special drugs to increase his strength.
(i.e. Sasuke, Chouji, Orochimaru)

He was just truly a genius of his generation, more so than Itachi and Orochimaru; he attained strength and power through nothing more than hard work and perseverance alone. I mean, c'mon, during one of the Great Shinobi wars, enemies were Ordered to flee from battle should they ever encounter him on the battlefield. Enemie(s), as in, multiple platoons - his power was that amazing.

It covers some the reasons why Minato is soo 'badass', as you call it. And surely by 'Gangsta' or 'Badass' I assume you're implying that the particular character has great skill, power, etc. Unless that meaning has changed already - And I did read your thread.
