Blackmail, nude pics, it really helps if your a girl :p
Actually not really xD the best way is to ask once every month or so( multiple sensei ) this is very effective as you are not nagging but you end up checking for spots frequently.

Find their training thread, subscribe to it, and wait for them to post openings.

If you're looking for something specific then it'll take time.

Example, I was looking for a kenjutsu sensei, but can't find one. However I started looking wider, any of the elements. with that I found one.

Patience is a virtue ;)

You must understand that we also have a life outside of NB. We cannot train everyone at once. You just need to be patient and try again after some time. Eventually you will be trained.

The way I obtain training is being patient and stalk the training thread to see if Sensai/Sempai post up applications. Its quite rare due to the amount of people who needs training.Just look around on Sensai profiles and see if they are taking students. It took me 2 months to find a Sensai but I was patient and found one then I just did the same thing till you get accepted.Im currently trying to find a Kenjutsu teacher but still ain't had no luck =\ but I won't give up so you shouldnt give up as well so take time and goodluck fellow role player.

Well said ^_^ Leaf was my first sempai :T_T:

And as a student I always felt like my teachers were slow only replying once or twice a day. Now as a sempai I realize how hard it is. I train once a day if Im lucky being extremely busy with school ~_~

I suggest enjoy looking for training since it is one of the funnest parts of RP ^_^ Especially training.
Talk to sempais and senseis since they are also real people and once they will be being accepting students youll most likely know. :p This does not mean befriend sempais/senseis for training. Just means be polite and become known across the base. The more active you are the better your odds are O_O

Sending nude pics seems to work. The more revealing the better.
Or, be patient and always keep an eye out for training applications and newly passed senseis.

I'll tell you how to get a sensei or sempai to start teaching you. It's pretty simple and has been told before to many people asking for help on the same issue.

Step 1: Patience

Remember that people are still people and not robots that can do the same thing all the time and at any time. If you wish to understand this then you'll have to grow up to experience it through life. This needs to be the first step to learn so you can get a master to teach you.

You say you have been waiting since january, but multiple people that are great fighters or jutsu collectors/makers have waited much longer than that. I for one waited a great half a year for kaito's training in the art of taijutsu since he is the best and I wished to be his student.

The more popular the master/teacher the longer the wait. Remember that if you wish to learn quickly it won't matter if the quality is bad. All sensei and sempai have their form of training weather it be super detailed to video type. You need to understand who could teach you the best and in ways that will make you learn and become stronger. Explore many options and don't set your goals on just one person unless that is truly the person that can teach you the best.

Step 2: Respect

Contrary to popular low ranked belief, spamming the vm box and pm box of fellow sensei and sempai will not get you training any faster. This actually lowers your chance of being picked first and even ignored due to your lack of respect towards the busy schedule of the sensei or sempai in question. This not only gets you in bad terms with sensei or sempai, but perhaps even other masters or teachers since they all talk to each other and know one another.

You may think this is their job, and in a way it is, but they did it by choice and by testing. They choose to be someone you can look up to and ask for guidence, not a computer screen with tutorials that are on 24/7.

Step 3: Priorities

Remember that you don't need to master 1 element all the way before you can learn the others. This is actually slowing down your training and you will possible lose interest. Training is hard work, even if it is just text in a small game. You respect the training, understand it's difficulty, and learn accordingly at your own speed and at the master's discretion.

Step 4: Friendship

As much as you want training, this is a way to build a friendship with another member of the forums. Regardless of their status you can always try to be friendly and this will help you to become friends. Last time I checked that friends are also priorities towards help and assistance towards multiple goals.

Now there is a difference between sucking up and being a friendly neighbor. You need to know that everyone is a person and if you try too hard to just get on their good side, they will notice. Be subtle, be gentle, and try to no over do it. You're trying to become friends with the person, not making it a one-night stand.

This isn't true with some people though. People that are sensei or sempai might not want friendships with people they teach or perhaps just don't like you that way. This might be a reason why they won't teach you or might ignore you. This isn't against the rules at all, a sensei can teach who they want if they are asked to by anyone. They are there to help, but a person that they don't like will not receive help and even if they do it won't be quality help. One way to fix this is to apologize for what you have done in the best, or if you did nothing wrong perhaps prove to them that you are worthy for a friendship or at least training. Respect goes both ways from student to sensei and sensei to student. You must earn it and if earned you are also given the same respect.

Good luck with training. Hope for the best.

Or you can send a picture of your sister to someone, as I've seen that done on this site before.

There's no real advice aside from being patient, once you get your first training session it becomes easier and easier
