Hmm, I'd say Naruto vs Pain.

Though I wouldn't call it cunning, but Naruto did use a lot of intelligence then. Must have gave him a headache afterwards xD

He cunningly planned a way to counter Tobi in secs not from outside help... Minato thought it up all on his own.

bee vs sasuke... we get to see bee totally annihilate the sharingan by himself. they say when faced with a sharingan one 1 you should always run but bee make sasuke his b i t c h with his swords.

Naruto vs Pain. It's the same idea and same techniques as we saw in Naruto vs Neji, but taken to a much higher level with much more forethought. In the Neji fight we saw that Naruto had a brain. In the Pain fight, we saw what we could do with it.

The Shikamaru vs Hidan fight is a close second. That plan doesn't make sense to me, because they must have planned to get some of Kakuzu's blood first, and there's no way they could have known that they would have been able to do that. Kakashi got lucky getting that blood the first time, and if that hadn't happened they would have been in trouble. Plus, Shikamaru needed to be really good at dodging and planting the stolen blood, and there's no guarantee he would be able to do that convincingly. The Shikamaru vs Hidan fight involved some planning and cunning, but also a lot of luck and plot no jutsu.

hmm...i think the most cunning plan was when sasuke fought danzo...sasuke knew abt danzo's technique izanagi n he fooled danzo by his genjutsu....

Oh and people forget Naruto vs Edo RAikage, i mean the way he planned to hit him with Rasenshuriken, knowing he would be fast he already had 3 moves in advance to hit him... and don't forget how he ended the battle with a classic ransengan at the right time, and at the right spot...
Naruto vs Pain, and Mainato vs Tobi also very great... Top 3 in no specific order for me...
