She wipes a tear from her eye. Clearing her mind, she returns her focus to the ocean. Searching for dangers.
"And hey we have a couple of friends here already, they might like to join us." Sharrkan says with some optimism, maybe if we find the right people with the right contacts, we could find ourselves checking stuff off of our list."Aaaah, you're right. My first mate's already keeping me right."
"Well, we're going to get them now." George did a sweet move to get back on his feet and started walking, looking for the girl that still hasn't told him her name."And hey we have a couple of friends here already, they might like to join us." Sharrkan says with some optimism, maybe if we find the right people with the right contacts, we could find ourselves checking stuff off of our list.
George sees her running toward them in the distance so he just stands still and let her run, prolonging her resolved feeling. He then cheerily calls out to her. "Hey, where ya headed?"A girl screams, and she raises her fingers... But she does not click. Instead, she pauses.
"Do it." The voice in her head demands.
But she does not. Instead, she pushes herself from the chair and sprints to the water, throwing herself in head first and kicking powerfully in the direction of the girl. She reaches her in no time and wraps the youngsters arm around her shoulder before beginning to swim on her back, aiming to return to shore. It was a simple act... And one that had her heart pounding beyond what she had felt before. Adrenaline... True adrenaline. And it felt great. She never wanted it to end, and the smile returned as she looked back at the sky whilst she swam.
As her back hit sand, she realised... The journey was over. But it didn't have to be. No one could convince her of that now... There was more to life than normality, more to it than this place. She had saved the girl... Truly saved her... Yet the people around her stared, there eyes scanning her and labelling her with disapproval. But she didn't care, nothing could hurt her mood especially when she looked down at the girl.
"Thank you." The child said, with a smile.
That was it. The final straw. She stood up and ran toward the men.
Sharrkan whispers into his ear, "I think she's heading towards us."George sees her running toward them in the distance so he just stands still and let her run, prolonging her resolved feeling. He then cheerily calls out to her. "Hey, where ya headed?"
She reaches them, literally bouncing.George sees her running toward them in the distance so he just stands still and let her run, prolonging her resolved feeling. He then cheerily calls out to her. "Hey, where ya headed?"

He looks on, impressed by what he sees. Definitely looks like she had an epiphany , George thought. "We're definitely leaving today, just need a boat. Now, Sharky... How the hell are we gettin' one of those?" George asked his rotating friend. She reaches them, literally bouncing.
"I don't care. Anywhere but here! Just get me out this place!!"
She grabs his hands, looking into his eyes and smiling. She then does the same with Sharky, before bouncing with him, forcing him to jump in circles with her.
She laughs. He looks on, impressed by what he sees. Definitely looks like she had an epiphany , George thought. "We're definitely leaving today, just need a boat. Now, Sharky... How the hell are we gettin' one of those?" George asked his rotating friend.
As he is jumping in the air with the other two, rather silly looking to people who were watching, he had a serious face that was completely contrasting with their actions. He clicks his fingers,He looks on, impressed by what he sees. Definitely looks like she had an epiphany , George thought. "We're definitely leaving today, just need a boat. Now, Sharky... "The animals? It's a good idea, but a good sturdy sleeping quarters, with storage is required if we are to venture the seas."She laughs.
"We don't need a boat! I can sort that!"
She mimics snapping her fingers, but doesn't actually snap... She doesn't want to bother the animals for no reason.
"Yes, yes, but remember. Pirates always need a boat. It's a whole thing" He registered what she said, but just wanted to get his main point across. She stops bouncing and changes her expression... Rather expertly actually.
"Oh... We need to keep it quiet. I don't know what it is, but no one leaves this place... It's like we can't... I don't know... It's just weird."
She says.
"Think of the plan, and pick me up later. I need to get back to work before they realise I'm gone."
She begins walking backwards, before turning and jogging back to her chair.
He watches the girl leave and turns back to George, "Still never got her name, and I never noticed that before how they don't let their villagers leave. It's gonna be harder than I thought.""Yes, yes, but remember. Pirates always need a boat. It's a whole thing" He registered what she said, but just wanted to get his main point across.
"They don't let the villagers leave!" George was completely astounded. "That's really f**ked up. It's like North... wait... never mind."He watches the girl leave and turns back to George, "Still never got her name, and I never noticed that before how they don't let their villagers leave. It's gonna be harder than I thought."
"Yeah it is horrible, but there isn't much we can do about it. I should have asked her if we could use her house as Storage, since the one I was staying at is owned by one of the villagers - Bah, I guess she wouldn't mind us doing so.""They don't let the villagers leave!" George was completely astounded. "That's really f**ked up. It's like North... wait... never mind."
After a short journey the two heroes find themselves breaking into her house by lock picking the door "Before you ask, yes, I always carry a bobby pin around with me. Specifically for something like this." They get into her house with a bit of effort and George immediately finds the couch."Yeah it is horrible, but there isn't much we can do about it. I should have asked her if we could use her house as Storage, since the one I was staying at is owned by one of the villagers - Bah, I guess she wouldn't mind us doing so."
