Lmfao, I was there when 'Adobo' first posted that. It had generally positive reactions, if I remember correctly, but I doubt that would be the case these days. Was planning on posting this today. The intro should grab some attention don't you think? Lol**** all that Kaguya, Rikudo, Indra/Ashura, and pairing bullshit. Were here to discuss Itachi. A real ass ninja. I don't think people fully realize how respectively overpowered and broken Itachi's genjutsu capabilities really are... Namely one technique in particular; The Dusk Crow Genjutu.

Were discussing a genjutsu that requires absolutely no eye contact, no point of a finger, seemingly, nothing. Itachi can quite simply place anyone under this genjutsu, with no indication of even performing the jutsu, and perfectly replicate reality so that the victim wouldn't even know they were put in a genjutsu. And as you may or may not know, the very first step in even attempting to break out of a genjutsu is realizing you're in one; which would be nearly impossible in this scenario. Aside from a very few [Experienced Dōjutsu users, Perfect Jinchūriki, and elite level Sensors] no one is safe from this. If prompted, Itachi could simply utilize this near undetectable genjutsu and then swiftly finish his lifeless opponent with any means necessary.
A truly broken technique, well, shinobi altogether. Kishimoto had no choice but to make Itachi a pacifist and hold him back in every fight.
Misconceptions:
Many people believe that Itachi placed Naruto in his genjutsuYou must be registered for see links. This couldn't possibly be the case, as Naruto wouldn't of been able to command his clones from within a genjutsu; and neither would they have appeared within Itachi's genjutsu world either [You must be registered for see links]. This wasn't an illusion, it was reality. Furthermore, Naruto even knew not to make eye contact with Itachi's eye or finger.
People also chose to believe that Naruto was cought in Itachi's genjutsu via the sharingan implanted within the crow [You must be registered for see links]-[You must be registered for see links]. Also not the case because, when Itachi utilizes his crows in reality or genjutsu, the birds always leave feathers [You must be registered for see links] as they didYou must be registered for see linkswhen Naruto was already caught within the genjutsu. The important thing to note with this is, when Naruto was released from the genjutsu, there wasn't any feathers on the floor [You must be registered for see links] meaning Naruto was caught in the genjutsu prior to Itachi releasing his flock of crows, else feathers would of been present within reality.

A thread we all work on sounds great actually.
A collaboration, huh. I'm down, we'd probably create something pretty amazing.
