**** all that Kaguya, Rikudo, Indra/Ashura, and pairing bullshit. Were here to discuss Itachi. A real ass ninja. I don't think people fully realize how respectively overpowered and broken Itachi's genjutsu capabilities really are... Namely one technique in particular; The Dusk Crow Genjutu.​

The Nightmare Realm

Description:​

Were discussing a genjutsu that requires absolutely no eye contact, no point of a finger, seemingly, nothing. Itachi can quite simply place anyone under this genjutsu, with no indication of even performing the jutsu, and perfectly replicate reality so that the victim wouldn't even know they were put in a genjutsu. And as you may or may not know, the very first step in even attempting to break out of a genjutsu is realizing you're in one; which would be nearly impossible in this scenario. Aside from a very few [Experienced Dōjutsu users, Perfect Jinchūriki, and elite level Sensors] no one is safe from this. If prompted, Itachi could simply utilize this near undetectable genjutsu and then swiftly finish his lifeless opponent with any means necessary.

A truly broken technique, well, shinobi altogether. Kishimoto had no choice but to make Itachi a pacifist and hold him back in every fight.

. This couldn't possibly be the case, as Naruto wouldn't of been able to command his clones from within a genjutsu; and neither would they have appeared within Itachi's genjutsu world either [

Lmfao, I was there when 'Adobo' first posted that. It had generally positive reactions, if I remember correctly, but I doubt that would be the case these days.

Yeah, I remember your post. The thread had only one member arguing against it, but Adobo had him shut down in the second page. I read it over and personally didn't see any issues with it so I'll give it a shot. If it turns into something ugly, I'll close it, report some people and maybe delete the thread. Lol

I agree, we could come up with something pretty cool I think. Now to just think up some topics we could possibly cover. I think power has been done to death with his character, as a group we should do something else but that's my opinion.​

I completely agree, we should definitely do something aside from power. That's like a one-way ticket to a flamewar these days.
I'll try and think of a few ideas with enough substance for 4+ people to contribute to. Which will probably be quite difficult.
So if anyone has any kind of ideas, even if you think they're silly, please share them U_U

I think I can confirm that this hasn't been done before, at least as far back as 2011 (when little Magatsu first set foot on NB). So right away, we're undertaking something fresh and ambitious: which has been lacking in NB these days. It's a lot of rinse/repeat in terms of content.

And considering we all have different strengths and styles in terms of "thread making", if we put it all together, we can create something on a level that hasn't been achieved before.

I'm pumped now

Done. I called it "Project Kyōyū Tsubasa".

Since Itachi's main symbol amongst his fans is a crow, I decided to name it around that. If we are "crows", then our individual talents and strengths are our "wings". If we work together, by "sharing" (kyōyū) our "wings" (tsubasa), then we can create something amazing
