Also, Kishimoto has refrained from doing base stats- there are none in this databook. Mainly since base stats are no longer relevant, most people are OP due to their powerups and it's too hard to cover that for all the shinobi.

Well I was going to try to respond to everything but you guys have been busy while I was away. _@: lol

All things considered, it seems Itachi had the greatest presence in the entire manga, if you look at how much he influenced others and how relevant he is, even now.

Now that I think about it, he had a ginormous influence on the main characters. He set Naruto on the right path, reminding him that he shouldn't shoulder everything alone. And he had the greatest influence on Sasuke's life and his ideals, for obvious reasons. Even his short time as an Edo made Sasuke do a completely 360 in terms of his goals.

Even beyond the main characters, he still has pull over others. Through his morals, he made Kabuto see the light and accept himself. He also influenced Kisame philosophically, as shown in his final moments.

Two words for you- COMPLETELY AGREE. I'm pretty sure that the only other 2 ninja that have had nearly as much influence are the So6P and Naruto, each in their own way of course.

I'm pretty sure that Itachi is in Heaven right now, looking down at Sasuke and Naruto with a smile. He's probably thinking that trusting Naruto was one of the better decisions he's made in a long time.

Studio Pierrot ruined it because they made all chakra blue prior to this info being released.
This reminds me of the time they ruined the canon colors of the Uchiha bros's Susano'os.
Itachi's (see, I actually did mention him in this post, so this is relevant to the FC to a degree ) is supposed to be gold in canon, not red like it is in the anime.
Sasuke's is supposed to be blue in canon, not purple like it is in the anime.

Still relevant. I personally like Itachi's Susano'o being red. I don't know why but it just seemed to suit him for me. Naruto's Rasengan being yellow matches him better than the blue did though. I wonder if the color was changed to help contrast with outfits and/or environment backgrounds...?

btw .. reading some pages ago, I couldn't agree more about the fact that Itachi is undoubtedly one of the most important and central character of all the manga. And I'm glad that he had his deserved importance until the end ;w;
And ... did you hear about that rumor of Itachi coming back as puppet in the new movie? I know that it's just a fake rumor but even if it would be real ... as much as I love him ... I don't know if i would be happy to see him again playing the role of the puppet and then ... dying one more time ... DX ... I think my heart couldn't keep the pain T_T"
Also ... I think he would deserve a better role. In Edo Tensei he actually saved the Shinobi world so, even if it was painful to see come back to life and then dying again, I loved that part so much because it made him even greater and amazing (and his words to Sasuke ... ç_ç ) ... so I wouldn't like to see him in a minor role ...

Reality and True Intention

The past when the two brothers got along happily was long gone. Itachi sees (his) existence as Sasuke’s protection. He keeps him away from the harsh reality.
However, now the older brother acknowledges his younger brother’s growth into adulthood and being a shinobi, and tells Sasuke everything, all the fake cover up stories that he had told, the truth, together with Love.

Hiding the Past , Picturing the Present, With His Eyes He Entrusts the Future and His Hope.

For the sake of the village, for Sasuke’s sake, he shut his words and received shame. He sensed the Uchiha plan to overthrow the village government, and from that moment on he became a spy, with great suffering, joining the village’s side to save his little brother.
He understood and truly wanted to save both parties, the village and the clan, but he could not and, all alone, killed his own clan, being a criminal for the village, with the condition that his beloved brother wouldn't know the truth.


Redeeming the past

In exchange for love Itachi received hate, turning upon himself his brother’s feelings of revenge.
He concealed the past and distorted the truth as long as the result was avoiding a great ninja war.

Itachi confronts Kabuto who obtained Orochimaru’s power.
To erase Kabuto’s Edo Tensei is Itachi’s last mission.

Losing to Itachi's Izanami, Kabuto must accept his fate. This acceptance of himself via Izanami is a good thing for Kabuto.

Chasing Hachibi
After Itachi’s death Sasuke learnt about the hidden truth of the village and he decided a mission to destroy Konoha.
Partnering with Akatsuki, with their support, Sasuke attacks Hachibi.
But as a result of Sasuke's act, the 4th great ninja war is caused.
Despite Madara’s purpose being vague he supports him in order to fullfill his own goal.

Uchiha restoration
Sasuke lost everything because he is an Uchiha, his actions aim to bring on his clan’s restoration. His family was destroyed because it was superior and deemed a threat, becoming a sacrifice for people who he views having foolish blood.
Their deaths are nonsensical to him and had been forced, and it is irrational in his view that it was done in the name of an emblem.
While he was turned away from his feelings of love for his older brother and his relatives Sasuke’s darkness deepened, and he decided to have his revenge.

With the mind set on destroying his enemy the darkness deepens and the shadows swallow him

5 kage meeting
Itachi’s suffering… the Uchiha’s downfall had been caused by the village higher ups. Once he understood this, Sasuke decides that his biggest enemy is the Hokage and his target becomes the village and its shinobi.
When the long sought after defeat of Itachi is ended Sasuke attacks his former village’s Kage during the meeting.

A battle fought with eyes
The one who forced Itachi to carry on the Uchiha massacre, the one who stole sharingans, Danzo!
This man personally spilled the clan’s blood and spat infamy on them, he dirtied Itachi’s hands and because of him Sasuke believed his lies.
Dealing with him as with a sharingan user, Sasuke’s rage reaches its limit when he creates Itachi’s ninja arts and face for his enemy.
Sasuke attained his ultimate revenge against Danzo’s and his misuse of the sharingan.

Common front with his older brother
Because of Edo Tensei, the predestined chance meeting with Itachi and Sasuke arrives. Together they win against Kabuto.
During this time Sasuke for the first time is acknowledged as an equal by his brother and he is told the truth.
Knowing the love of his brother and parents, his heart covered by hate and darkness is a little clearer.


Those who know everything
What is a clan? What is a village? What is a shinobi? Itachi’s wishes, various questions trouble Sasuke. He knows too little to continue on his path. To have a clue Sasuke summons the past Hokages.

Decision
The dream of Konoha’s revived Hashirama, handed over to the Second Hokage and his sense of duty, then the Third’s regret for the Uchiha’s downfall. Hokage’s wishes, many layers on top of another form a single image inside Sasuke.
All by himself joining the past his heart shines and he makes his decision!

The reason for having Itachi’s eyes transpanted was to defeat Naruto, he told Madara.

His older brother’s sharingan gave Sasuke the eternal light.

In order to prevent a conflict over his eye, Shisui entrusted his eye to his friend. Believing that the strength of Uchiha will be the light that guide the village, he chose the gloryless death.

Magatama

Releasing a war deity, one of the three treasures is thrown and will travel thousands of miles (figure of speech, just means it will travel over great distances) to pierce the enemy.

The Jutsu that is Itachi's most powerful long distance attack.

During the recent great ninja war Susano'o activation was shown

Magatama looks like a giant sharingan pattern (Basically), and is thrown like a Shuriken.

It was used against Nagato's Chibaku Tensei, it was used at the same time as Naruto's FuutonRasenshuriken and B's TBB, to hit and erase Chibkau Tensei.

Izanami

Izanami a unique Kinjutsu, Genjutsu, to invoke it results in the loss of an eye

One scene of the opponents own action is stored by the users Dojutsu, than an identical scene for a moment must be recreated. The opponent is imprisoned infinitely in the time rip world (?) between the first and second scene that were stored. To escape the Genjutsu one must accept their original fate/destiny, reforming someones conduct will allow them to escape.

The text near the crow says that the Edo Tensei's comands can be overwritten with a powerful Genjutsu. Than the text near Itachi's speech bubble, just says the Edo-Tensei commands can be subverted with new commands. I've decided that I'm going to write a fanfic on how Itachi obtained the Totsuka Blade and the Yata Mirror.

I'll be working on it as soon as I'm on break (early December), but I already have the general plot outlined. I don't want to say too much, but it will involve Shisui, and take a slightly more psychological (and probably darker) approach to things

I've never written an FF before, so any tips/pointers would be highly appreciated

Also, if anyone knows offhand how long Itachi was in Akatsuki for before getting Kisame as a partner, that would be awesome.
