This doesn't have much to do with Itachi. Not all, however...
Character Descriptions for "The Last" movie characters (released yesterday):
I didn't know until now that the canon color for Naruto's chakra and rasengan was yellow.
Studio Pierrot ruined it because they made all chakra blue prior to this info being released.
This reminds me of the time they ruined the canon colors of the Uchiha bros's Susano'os.
Itachi's (see, I actually did mention him in this post, so this is relevant to the FC to a degree
) is supposed to be gold in canon, not red like it is in the anime.
Sasuke's is supposed to be blue in canon, not purple like it is in the anime.
The size of the box denotes how much screentime each character will get in the movie:

hello everybody i want to join too to the FC of my fav chara ever ;w; 
btw .. reading some pages ago, I couldn't agree more about the fact that Itachi is undoubtedly one of the most important and central character of all the manga. And I'm glad that he had his deserved importance until the end ;w;
And ... did you hear about that rumor of Itachi coming back as puppet in the new movie? I know that it's just a fake rumor but even if it would be real ... as much as I love him ... I don't know if i would be happy to see him again playing the role of the puppet and then ... dying one more time ... DX ... I think my heart couldn't keep the pain T_T"
Also ... I think he would deserve a better role. In Edo Tensei he actually saved the Shinobi world so, even if it was painful to see come back to life and then dying again, I loved that part so much because it made him even greater and amazing (and his words to Sasuke ... ç_ç ) ... so I wouldn't like to see him in a minor role ...

I think Rasengan would be so much cooler in yellow rather than blue. >.< I remember the whole Susano'o situation as well. I still love the idea of Itachi's Susano'o being gold. <3 With Sasuke's, I guess we got a blue Susano'o with Madara, but still. It's not that hard, Studio Pierrot. xD Huh, interesting. It seems that almost everyone has about equal screen time, except Naruto, Hinata, Sakura, and Toneri. That makes sense, I guess.
I love Hinata's outfit. It's just so cute on her! :yayy: I think the length of Ino's skirt would be far from practical in a fight, but whatever. xD Everyone else looks pretty good though, except Sasuke still kind of looks like a hobo.

Yeah, I don't like that rumor either.

Hinata looks beautiful and everyone looks okay in my opinion... excluding Gaara. I'm sorry, he looks creepy imo and kind of ugly.
And, Sasuke would look better without the poncho. With it, he looks kind of cheap. Then again, he doesn't ever go back the Konoha, he just maintains his friendship with Naruto and it looks like he agrees to protect Kakashi while Naruto is away. Sasuke remains a wanderer, he just keeps his bond with Naruto and comes to help anytime they urgently need him. What I mean is that his look suits him considering he's a nomad. xD

I'm indifferent towards Sai and Kakashi, but it looks a little like Kishimoto doesn't care for their characters anymore.
Without sharingan, Kakashi doesn't even make the top 40 strongest ninja and is below Zabuza level. He got the Hokage position since there was no one else. Though, this isn't a problem since he has strong people to guard him (Naruto). Tsunade was like this as well, Naruto protected the village during the Pein attack for her. Also, the Hokage position is nearly never fighting and they send other shinobi on missions. The every day task for a Hokage is paper work. Lol
Sai is just as irrelevant as ever. (His description shows his character isn't any different.) Though, he never held a major role in the first place.

That rumor is completely fake, it's not happening.
I don't want to see Itachi back (even though I love him) either. The guy had two impactful, heart-wrenching exits anyway. There's no way any writer, no matter how good they are, can top that. I'm surprised that Kishimoto could make the second exit emotional like the first was. Usually, that's impossible. But he somehow made it work. Kishimoto gets an A+ from me in regards to Itachi's character.
We might hear Itachi get mentioned more in the future (via flashbacks). The truth won't ever be revealed, but that's what Itachi wanted so the clan can still look good. We might still hear his ideals, actions, etc mentioned by characters who know (ie: Sasuke).
It was cool since in RTN, it was an alternate universe and Kishimoto brought up the Akatsuki. Itachi was the leader in that. Lol This has alot to do with popularity, too. The most popular Akatsuki members overall are Itachi, followed by Deidara. Deidara has the second most screentime in RTN.
However, this is a movie that falls in place with the storyline, so seeing the Akatsuki is a no. Sasuke is literally the only chance for Itachi to be mentioned in "The Last"- like if he reflects on his life for a few seconds as he protects Kakashi. Lol
Whether or not Itachi is mentioned in the movie, I don't care. He already has a fantastic run... or runs since he left the series twice. xD
Don't worry about rambling. We do that all the time and love it.
Itachi and Sasuke are my brotp. I just really admire Itachi's love for Sasuke and their overall dynamic. I don't view it in a romantic fashion since it's just bromance and a pure form of love. Plus, Itachi was confirmed to be straight in a 2012 interview with Kishi for the RTN movie. Lol

I'm digging Sasuke and Kakashi's outfits, Naruto looks absolutley horrendous, it looks like he cut his own hair with a blindfold. Choji looks so bad, they ruined Gaara as well and the villain is ok in the trailer. & you should watch GoT, it's the greatest show on television.
Tyrion, one of the only Lannisters I actually like. I respect Tywin and I'm starting to like Jaime. House Lannister is falling though, don't wanna spoil you in case you aren't caught up lml.

That picture looks great.
And, some people are speculating that chapter 699 will show the release of IT (so current time), while chapter 700 is years into the future. People think "The Last" will take place during the time period between 699 and 700.
However, this has not yet been confirmed by AnimeNewsNetwork or SaiyanIsland. Until then, it remains a rumour.

I mean, being the big fan of Naruto that I am, I’m so used to seeing him with a blue Rasengan that I think it fits him. I kind of like that idea because I know that Konoha must not be the same for Sasuke ever since he left, learned the truth about Itachi, etc. Even though Naruto’s always wanted him to come back, Sasuke wouldn’t do it, imo. Indeed, Kishi definitely threw a lot of characters aside the closer this manga got to the end. :/ I hope he cares at least a little about Kakashi, since Kakashi is Hokage now and all.

I totally agree. =D I don’t like Tywin, but I admit that his character is quite well done. And I have this sort of love/hate relationship with Jaime. I like him most of the time though. Lol I see. Yeah, I’m not caught up, yet there are definitely signs that they won’t last much longer. ;_;
Like Chie said, I haven’t seen that confirmed yet, so I think it’s just a rumor for now. Although I think “The Last” taking place between chapters 699 and 700 would be interesting. Although I’m wondering if the movie would be spoiled for us then because chapter 700 comes out first. O_O

If this is true, I just lost all interest in Databook 4. xD
It will still be good for some people, but if nothing is added to Itachi/Jiraiya/MostOfAkatsuki in general's profiles then it isn't as exciting to me. Especially since those characters won't even be in it if what this person said was true.
The databook just creates base stats. It'll be nice to know how strong the Hokages and Kages, as well as K11, Madara, Obito, etc are strong in their base. (Base= no sharingan, no SM, no FTG, etc.)
And it's good for knowing how Kishimoto views his own characters, since he provides profile descriptions. However, we already know from the manga. It isn't really needed, since there aren't any mysterious characters alive anymore (cough* Itachi *cough).
The only ones who would have a very informative profile (one that gives info not in the manga mostly) would be Kaguya/Hamura/Hagoromo/Indra/Ashura, since little was revealed about them. Other than that, I can't think of anyone.
Fun Fact= According to some spoilers from the 4th Databook, Kaguya's clan is composed of moon people, they aren't from planet earth.
The Uchiha, Hyuuga, and Senju descended from aliens. Lol At least the line is so far diluted though, that it no longer matters and the majority of their composition is human.

That's true. They have to include the techs he showed as an Edo. And yes, hopefully we do get some raw translations soon.
Note: In the latest movie trailer for "The Last" movie, the narrator says that it takes place during the "Blank Period". So, it seems as though the movie will indeed be the time that is spent between chapter 699 (end of IT) and 700 (possibly Naruto Hokage in the future).
