But you know what, it's okay. Itachi wouldn't allow Gai to get to the point of 8 gates and take him out beforehand. Madara only let him get that far because he loves to fight and was bored at the time.

I like thinking that certain things are canon when Kishi gives his blessing, and this is a good example. Because seriously, these two had to have fought at least once. xD I also think that way about this Kakashi ANBU arc going on in the anime right now, since all of these events were happening around canon ones.That awkward moment when Kisame thinks he's won, but in the end the entire fight was a genjutsu by Itachi. XD That Itachi.

Did you know? Even though this never occurred in the manga, this is still canon in a way and how a fight between the two would turn out, because Kishimoto has to give his approval for the storyboards in these games.

But then again, I don't think that there is a point at which one can watch these and get tired of them. Itachi moments are just awesome.

I think that their fight would have gone this way and it was approved by Kishimoto, so it's "real" in my book. And yes, I'm considering the events in the Kakashi Anbu arc as canon too, even though I don't think Kishimoto had to give his approval for it and there have been a few errors (Itachi was 10 when he joined Anbu in the manga-not 11. People in the village suspected the Uchiha because they were not found in the village...but then in the episode they know where they were. Just small things like that.) I'll consider most things mentioned from the manga canon, but other things not-like the Mist ninja episodes. Yes, I am completely caught up with the manga. I've been reading it since 2007 and continue to read the chapter that comes out every week. Lol

I will too. =D I agree completely. Yeah, you're right, there have definitely been a few inconsistencies and errors. But, the fact that this arc is showing some potential "off-panel" moments that very well could have happened is awesome, and for that, it's canon to me. ^^ Yup, me too, and yeah haha. There are a few exceptions.I'm going to consider this fight canon.

But this current filler is the best, because it actually contains canon info which occured off-panel in the manga, interesting plot, and great animation.
Yeah. I thought it was cute the way that his students thanked him even after he failed them. Then he blushed, and it was so cute. (I don't usually use words like "cute" or "adorable" to describe Kakashi either, lol.)
Well, I'd like to see Naruto and his new powers as soon as possible. I also want to see how Obito and Sakura end up, too. I'm pretty indifferent towards Sasuke, so even though he's been showing impressive techs in the latest chapters, I just haven't been that interested, even when I try to be.
How do you feel about Sasuke? Also, how do you feel about the two other main Uchihas, Obito and Madara? I feel indifferent towards Obito too, but I think I like him slightly more than I like Sasuke. (I liked Kid Obito the best though, he was the Uchiha version of Naruto. XD )I'm glad that he's redeeming himself and that he saved Naruto-even though he basically is the one who caused the war in the first place. XD And as for Maddy, I like him as a villain, his backstory, and his comedic moments with Hashirama. I like him better than both Obito and Sasuke, but his arrogance gets annoying. Sasuke's arrogance gets annoying too imo, and it's even worse in his case (even though Madara is arrogant to a higher degree), because usually he cannot back it up and he doesn't ever pay a compliment when it's due (at least Madara compliments his opponents, even if it is in a mocking-way at times. What is your take on them.

Definitely! :x3: Yeah, that’s very true. I get the feeling that Obito is probably going to die. Well, he’s dying right now, but I mean more in a sacrificial way by stopping Madara. I’m indifferent toward Sasuke, too. xD It’s not very interesting to me either. :/

XD I miss part 1 Sasuke so much! :T_T: I guess it’s because he was still good and starting to descend into the whole avenger thing, but now, he’s just a straight out avenger and a ****. xD He was much more interesting during part 1, and he actually had good character development. I did like his reunion with Itachi though; it was good that he learned the truth, and when he did, he actually showed some humanity. It’s just not the same though. :/
I like Obito the best, but I agree with you, I like kid Obito the most (for the same reasons, since you’re right, he was practically an Uchiha Naruto). xD Yeah, I’m glad too, but it’s so true!

That's the way I feel about the 4 main Uchiha too.
Yeah, sometimes I just wish that Maddy would shut it. His arrogance bothers me as well, but not as much as Sasuke's. I could show panels comparing what both Sasuke and Madara say to their opponents and you'd see the difference. In fact, I think I will post them on this thread later.
That's the way I'd rank them as well as far as likeability goes.
For Sasuke, I liked him in pt1. However, he's never really been a fav, though. I actually liked him during his Hebi Sasuke days, mainly because I hadn't seen the character for so long and wanted to see what he was up to. (He came in after 40 chapters for Shippuden). I liked the way that he brought Team Taka together and wanted to see his fight with Itachi (I actually wanted to see Itachi more than I wanted to see Sasuke, lol).
But then he got his MS, and I really didn't like him. Mainly for the reasons this Op stated in his thread:
I realize why Sasuke felt that way, but I just didn't like his personality.
Now, after his talk with Itachi, he's a little better but I still don't really enjoy seeing his character. I try to like him and get excited when he completes a feat...but I just cannot. When he's on the panel of a chapter, I literally feel nothing. When he got stabbed by Maddy, I didn't feel happy or sad. I was just like "Oh, what's this? Sasuke is dying? Ok, then." and then when he revealed his new feats in the latest chapter, I still don't really care. I just want to see Naruto's feat now, Lol.
And I know that I sound really harsh towards his character, but I just stopped caring for it a long time ago. However, I will admit that he is well-written and has good development. Kishimoto also did a good job with the character, considering that for the majority of Shippuden, he is the main antagonist (other than Obito, who is the real one) and they are meant to be disliked most often times. How often do you see an antagonist this popular, though? Sasuke is the second most popular character in the series, right after Naruto. His character is a success for Kishimoto. xD

Lol, look someone even made a thread about why people don't like Sasuke today, Most people just stated his personality. This was my response:
"Most don't hate him anymore. They just hated him during his MS days because back then he proclaimed that he wanted to kill everyone in Konoha and crush their dreams, including innocent people.
Why people don't like him now?
-He doesn't care about the consequences of what he does. Some people are annoyed by this...others like that he doesn't give a f***.
-He's rude
-He treats people like tools, if you're not useful in his eyes, he will not interact with you
-He's arrogant
-He cannot admit his flaws...but this isn't a problem because nearly no one else in this series can do that either for some reason. :/
-He acts like he's the only one that's suffered in life and believes that he has suffered more than everyone, when he has not. (Though, he has suffered quite alot.)
As for my opinion, I don't really hate him or care for him. I'm just indifferent towards him at the moment. I think he was his best during his Hebi Sasuke days, back then I was a fan. "
I know it sounds harsh, and I didn't have to type all of that, but that' just the way I feel. The guy's personality is a complete turn-off. U_U
