Yeeaahh, his is definitely up there for me, too. :NO: But, on the positive side of it, he was plagued with disease and chose to die facing Sasuke. Sasuke didn't kill him. I point and laugh at Sasuke fans who think that he actually did. XD

Itachi and Sasuke's dynamic? I really like it to be quite honest.

But if Itachi was upfront with Sasuke from the start, I think Sasuke would have sided with his dad. His father was an ideal that Sasuke was aiming to please. He was less of a father and more of a figure. Itachi was the benchmark, and it terms of psychology I see it as being more plausible that Sasuke would forsake the benchmark for the ideal. So yeah, same circumstance, although I feel Sasuke might have been a casualty himself.

It's a tough question, really. All answers make sense when you dissect it right. Good question Kaya!

Great responses everyone! :scorps: Of them all, I think I agree with Cosman's the most. Sasuke was trying so hard to please his father and to overcome his brother's shadow that I think he would have sided with the rest of the clan. It would have lead to a darker dynamic in my opinion. And I've always thought the fact that Itachi felt he should have trusted Sasuke in the beginning was unfair to Itachi's character in the end. It made him feel/seem like he had failed in his dreams and goals.

@ Beep- That was just cruel of Banana! lol As for Itachi's death, it was definitely in my top 2. Minato and Kushina's death has to be my #1 saddest one though. That's mainly because I couldn't imagine being an orphan from the time I was born. Plus, they had all these hopes and dreams of living a happy life and we just never got to see that. *grumbles about Obito*
