The Mangekyou Sharingan

I been asking lately on:

"What if I fight with someone and kill him then can I get my Mangekyou Sharingan?"

As Narutopedia states:

To acquire the Mangekyō Sharingan, someone close to a Sharingan user must die and the emotion of the loss is responsible for its unlocking. To expedite this occurrence, most Uchiha throughout history have killed their closest friends or family members in order to meet this criteria, though, how Kakashi gained his Mangekyō Sharingan has yet to be explained. (It is interesting to note that in order to obtain the Mangekyō Sharingan, one must feel the emotion of losing a friend, the act of killing them or watching them die alone will not activate it. This is seen with Sasuke and his Mangekyō.)

So I'm asking you guys, especially the mods. Can we do this?
I know that if this will be approved, everybody would kill their closest here on NB and attain it. But in the other hand, would the victim let him/herself get killed?

Maybe we can settle this in a battle. One must choose a friend and must kill him in a battle. If the friend is killed, his/her bio is now good as nothing. And the killer will get his MS.

If this get's approved, we will go to the next process: The side effects of using MS.

This is not only unfair to some or most, but illogical. A person can just say that he or she is my best friend and then kill them easily. This is why there is a rank requirement, kage or sensei, and a battle test for this eye upgrade. Plus the current test doesn't mean you'll get MS automatically, but have a chance of getting it. In a way your process was already created in a fair and logical understanding of the limits of a forum.

Besides... Should this even be here? Shouldn't it be in the Q&S forum section?

That's why someone must kill a close friend. If I make the rules I would pm first a user and both of us must agree with a battle for the MS.

It's true what you say, but the thing is that people can just lie... Obviously this can't be proven to be correct or incorrect since there isn't a valid way to prove your "close-ness". Also this will not make many people happy because the victims of this method loses something without gaining anything. This is not equal exchange for both people. I know that it is for your benefit to get the MS, but for the sake of being fair the person should get something in return... It's shouldn't be a requirement to kill but a test of your battle and sharingan experience. That is why they made the test.

I do think there should be a new way to aqquire it other than being a sensei/mod (because everyone doesnt have the interest in becoming sensei and most dont have the skill to be sensei)

If you ask me, I believe the only people who has the Mangkeyou Sharingan are some of the sensei, like myself, Kaito, and Akiza. And a problem hasn't concurred yet as members have to go through quite a tough series of training to even reach the third tomoe (in fact I believe very few also has the third tomoes). So I think this situation should be hold on pause until a real actual problem has occur.

All i'm saying is that this is illogical since you can't prove your friendship easily. I do know getting through the sharingan training is hard, and even getting close to getting the MS is hard. There could be a different way of getting it, but now that Yagura said that he has some rules that he'd put up to give an idea. So we can't really say this is pointless without knowing the exact specifications and regulations needed for this method. I take back anything insulting to the thread starter or to the idea (if i did insult either) and I will cast my judgement/opinion to the full method and theory when the rules and specs are posted.

Well I made this thread because most of the Uchiha are still trying to get to sensei status because of this. I wanted to have a new rule that can give you the MS. I understand Musa's explanation.

Most of the people:

Make Uchiha bio and try to become sensei
Make a canon bio (Sasuke, Kakashi, Itachi, Madara)


Now I wanted to have a new rule in order to get the MS. I wanted some ideas and I'll share some too.

I thought you had to become a sensei or a kage to get MS. If that isn't the case then I would suggest that people should be able to be trained for MS at Kage rank or atleast Sage rank.

Mods would know cuz in the olds rules it said that u have to have a discussion in a thread 4 3 pages and conversation of 20 pages

Rei would be able to give a good reason, rulings, suggestion, ect... for this process. I still agree that it should be a bit more... Realistic for people to gain the power of the MS. Currently you need to become a Sensei which means passing 2 tests, battle and written, and passing the doujutsu test, the test for MS. Not to mention a test if you want a cannon character that's special, not sure . This is too much requirements to have this Doujutsu stage. I know you guys are trying to make it so it's hard to get the MS Doujutsu, but making it impossible for most people makes it unfair. People that is fit to be a MS user, but not wanting/can't teach will be left out.

I don't know about the test for MS, how hard it is, and the % of success; but people should be able to get it after being a kage. You should be able to take the test, have this test be a secret mission, or whatever like getting rain element or something. Anyways GL with this Yagura.
