The Long Road

[Yugure]

An assessment from my English Course, can anyone guess what it is about?

Walking, I have to keep in walking
on the long road ahead.
Pushing, Running, Crouching forward
without looking back.
Travelling trough unknown countries
facing snow, ice and rain.
Walking on painful feet
I know what that is, Pain.
I have seen so many things
on my journey for being alive.
Waterlogged, blistered and frostbite
it's worth it when I arrive.
Here we are, the final destination
Paris, la ville de l'amour.

Thanks, it is about kids and teenagers who run away from their villages in (mainly Africa) after people try to recruit them. Most of them go to Paris, since there is a care centre for them...
