maybe juubi accumulates all of the nature energy first and after that it developes and awakens his personality/mind.maybe kurama was just reffering to these early stages of juubi....the final stage juubi definitely has its own mind i think
men, what i great theory, never thought of it this way, it's cool:bouncy:
im glad Derp explained that which i could not
Yea I can agree to this, though I also agree with claims presented by others here that the Juubi's evil/foul chakra could be a reflection of society: projecting a menacing chakra, simply because it is a product of its environment.
Still, Kishi seems to have a penchant for revealing to the reader different aspects of any given character. Nagato, Danzo, Kurama, along with others, are examples of characters thought to be clearly defined (evil, manipulative villains) in the series, yet later are given extra layers of complexity by Kishi in order to perhaps deepen their motives (or hell, he just wanted to add an extra flavor into the mix).
So in summation, I agree it is possible, for the Juubi -thought to be a mindless creature of pure evil- to have a emotions that were influenced to a certain degree by humans, simply because it is consistent with Kishi's development of characters as being something more than they were thought to be.
Well done!

The information you bring is claiming that the entity has emotions, as its essence is said to be foul according to several translations. However, in the official translation no such words are used to represent the entity in an emotional or personalistic way. [You must be registered for see links]
That said, the object in question [the Datara], is by the official translation a “natural creature” that denies awareness—lacking the quality of sentience. It is not in possession of any form of subjectivity of perceptional events that guide its behavior.
Therefore, by the official wording, the Datara does not have 'foul' or 'evil' chakra; only the composition of 'natural' chakra.
The error with such a claim is that you “suspect” a reason. There does not “need” to be a purpose for the entity to attack another creature or species, it simply performs—and by the present wordings of the official translations this is the case.
