Okay this this thread has three parts.
First: did the rikudo get the rinnegan from being the shinju Jinchuriki or Did he inherit from his mother after she ate the fruit of shinju as a kekkei genkai?
Second: does the juubi have the rinnegan abilities? I understand that that chakra came from shinju and that it had an eye similar to the rinnegan and sharingan, but eye personally dont think that it really possess the rinnegan or sharingan abilities, I mean sure it is the originator of all jutsu but the only jutsu it seems to possess seem pretty basic for although destructive. I believe that certain jutsu such as the one that the rinnegan and sharingan does needs a level of intelligence that shinju doesn't have, I I mean can u imagine it using the six paths or ameterasu or susanoo or even genjutsu, if it could use ameterasu it would have used it to cancel out sasuke's. So basically im kinda answering my first question in saying saying that the the rinnegan and sharingan eye was a mutation that occurred after rikudo's mom ate the fruit and the sage inherited it and then his son the elder elder inherited a watered down version of it and then his descendants inherited an even more watered down down version of it the sharingan. I d not think that being the the juubi Jinchuriki gives u th rinnegan eye either since when obito became became Jinchuriki his sharingan eye didnt become a rinnegan. The rinnegan only occurs when both parts of the sages dna are combined not when one simply becomes Its Jinchuriki.
Third: would u rather be the juubi Jinchuriki and have, tenpenchi, ten tails malleable chakra along with all tge other abilities the juubi portrayed, or have ems, rinnegan, and mokuton kekkei genkai along with cursed seal of heaven.
I would like to further clarify the second part of this thread by saying that I say the sages dna results in the rinnegan and sharingan abilities susanoo, six paths, genjutsu, ameterasu along with his his powerful life energy, insteadof becoming the juubi Jinchuriki because im pretty sure that that when rikudo's mom consumed the fruit it mixed with his dna and had some mutating effects that gave him unique abilities aside of the the shinju's.
