With just a few casting moves, the potential Suicide Squad being set up at Warner Bros. is starting to sound just as enticing – if not a little more intriguing – than the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice production that’s supposed to expand on the nascent DC Cinematic Universe. David Ayer is supposed to direct. Jared Leto might play The Joker. And Margot Robbie, of The Wolf of Wall Street, could have her sights set on playing the Joker’s maniacal soul mate, Harley Quinn.
This, according to Collider, which quotes sources to report that Margot Robbie "will play Harley Quinn" in the villain ensemble thriller. The Joker’s main squeeze has been an integral part of all of our pre-production plans for Suicide Squad, which is supposed to take a gaggle of bad guys and send them off on missions sponsored by our government (in exchange for reducing their prison sentences). Harley Quinn has been a key member of multiple iterations of the Suicide Squad teams in the comic books, so introducing her on screen would seem like a no brainer.

Well, according to Meet The Movie Press co-host Jeff Sneider of The Wrap, Jared Leto is said to be circling a role in the film, that sources close to the project say could possibly be The Joker. Other casting rumors for the project include Will Smith, Margot Robbie and Tom Hardy, and if they turn out to be true, I’ve got to say, this will be one hell of a cast. There have also been rumblings that actress Cara Delevingne is being courted to play Harley Quinn in the film (via Latino Review), and let’s face it, wherever Harley Quinn goes, The Joker isn’t far behind. While The Joker wasn’t featured in Justin Marks’ original screenplay, rumor has it that David Ayers will be rewriting the draft to include Batman’s arch nemesis.
Well, Imo....we have to move on from Heath's Joker and cast a new one and I wanted Jared for DR Strange but seeing how he really goes deep into his roles I believe we could actually make a great Joker and for DC's sake, anyone who plays him in the end can't disappoint, not debatable. Jared Leto is just a rumor.
As for Harley who has been confirm to be play by this actress, I'm excited about the news because I've been waiting years for someone to bring Quinn into the big screen, I always thought Nolan was gonna do it :/.......don't know much about her, but I hoping she does an awesome job.
