By now everybody has noticed the parallels between Hashirama/Madara & Naruto/Sasuke, Jiraiya/Orochimaru, & Kakashi/Obito, however, after the most recent chapter the dynamics between Hashirama/Madara have been established as very unique in an area that I have not seen discussed yet; their ideals & ambitions, Hashirama & Madara not only share the same ambitions of peace but also the idea of achieving it through alliances. This is unique as in every other pairing of rivals there is a fundamental difference of ideals, ambitions, & backgrounds that the pair is trying to overcome, yet in Hashirama & Madara there is none, both have suffered the pain of loss, both are prodigies, & both have the exact same goals, for these reasons I really enjoyed this chapter, furthermore I wonder what was so significant about Izuna's death compared to the death's of his other 3 brothers to make him change so drastically?
