Ok this time, I PROMISE I will do my best to move faster lol. Even though only like 3 people read it XD. Pretty short chapter btw. Enjoy, and comments are accepted, appreciated, and listened to for future reference ^^. Crap, I forgot to put what chapter it was >.<.
Raikage: Well... will you get up or not?
Riku quickly stood up, and as he did, millions of questions shot through his mind like lightning.
Riku: But... what are you doing here?
The Raikage raised an eyebrow.
Raikage: Hardly the proper way to ask a Kage a question but I suppose that you’ve been isolated from many other people for quite a while, due to Shinru’s overprotection of you. Before you ask, yes, I do know your teacher, quite well in fact. He apparently slipped a small ice bird to me before he was captured by Akatsuki, he said that he knew it would come to pass, the note was made nearly a week before the event occurred. So I’ve been coming out here each day since I got the letter, checking for a boy with short, white hair. Wearing a white cloak and carries a strange sword. I presume that he was speaking of you?
As he finished the last few words, the Lightning Shadow looked at Riku’s sword, as was expected from anyone who saw the blade for the first time.
Riku: I see... but... how do I really know you’re the Raikage? This story seems all to coincidental.
Raikage: I understand... well, if you can’t trust me, then I see no reason for you to follow me. Good luck finding your way to my village. But of course, once you do, what can you do if you don’t trust the Raikage?
The man started to walk away, more than slightly offended at the boy’s accusations.
Riku: Wait, no! It’s just... kind of a weird story is all.
He halted, considering the logic in the assumption of him being a poser.
Raikage: Very well, I suppose that I should show you myself. We camp out tonight, and leave for the Hidden Cloud Village tomorrow. I shall let you marvel at their respect for me, and from there, the decision to believe me is yours.
Riku, feeling that he had no other option, agreed to the terms with only slight hesitation. He would find out if this man was truly the Raikage tomorrow.

A peaceful night was something that Riku had come to cherish for the past week. He had realized that for so long he always thrived for eternal excitement, but now, he saw through the eyes of a different person. It was simply inspiring. Inspiring in the sense that he knew that he wanted to do what he could to keep it this way, inspiring in the sense that he would follow the Legendary Sannin Jiriya’s every wish of peace.
His dream that, in truth, was only a clutter of meaningful thoughts, was abruptly interrupted by the Raikage who had been trying to wake him up. Riku blinked several times before finally seeing a clear image of the man. As Riku was still blinking, the man was already talking and walking.
Raikage: Get up.
He paused and turned his head towards Riku who was still sitting.
Raikage: Well?
Riku quickly hopped up, pulling his sword and pack with him, and finally proceeded to run and catch up to a certain impatiently waiting Raikage.
Riku: So where to?
The man eyed Riku curiously.
Raikage: Where do you think? The Cloud Village.
Riku: Right... Right...
The rest of the journey went forth similarly, Riku continued with questions that were only
meant to bring conversation, and the Raikage shut every one of them with straightforward and sometimes obnoxious answer.

Upon arrival to the Hidden Cloud Village, Riku noted the way that the guards jumped up
into a proper standing position after seeing the Raikage. One of the guards signaled upward for the gates to be open. The Raikage started to walk, and finally halted noticing the two shady figures walking towards the village. Curious of what they wanted, he turned around.
Raikage: May we help you two?
Shady Person: Yes, you’re the Raikage if I am correct. You caused us a lot of trouble in the past.
Raikage: Is that so? I can’t seem to remember why, but you two DO seem familiar
now.
He added a small smirk at the last few words.
2nd Shady Person: Well get interested!
Raikage: Well I don’t remember saying I wasn’t interested, but I suppose there’s nothing wrong with imitating Sasuke Uchiha in your spare time is there?
Both of the two figures grew infuriated and charged at him, and each drawing a weapon while doing so. One drew a massive cleaver as the other took out a katana. Each of the guards near the gate stepped up, but the Raikage put up a silencing hand signaling them to stand down. He was intent on showing the ignorant boy next to him his power. Each of his hands rose up, palms open, and each one facing a separate person.
Raikage: Lightning Style: False Darkness!
The duo was halted by two powerful lightning blasts to the chest, the electricity ran through them and they were suddenly pushed back. After he was sure they were both finished, the Raikage turned towards Riku showing a smirk as he did so.
Raikage: Now tell me boy. Who am I really?
The Raikage:
Riku looked at the tall, cloaked man in front of him. He wore a moon-shaped hat with the lightning countries symbol on the tip of it. Riku’s eyes lifted to looking him directly in the eye, noticing the small goatee and what seemed to be parts of a mustache near each top corner of his lips. Raikage: Well... will you get up or not?
Riku quickly stood up, and as he did, millions of questions shot through his mind like lightning.
