1 . you again keep saying that susanoo is chakra and it has not been proved that susano is chakra (susanoo is like a donton nature being and it has chakra instead of being chakra).

2 juuken did not destroy the gold armour the impact that juken caused did.
3 even if you inject chakra it's futile if it can't go through.
4 it's substance like a donton and if you did not know, different than a hyuuga , uchihas can create phisical objects from nothing.

I just thought about something. Even if a hyuuga felt the pressure building in an Uchiha's eye, that wouldn't necessarily mean that they would know it to be amaterasu that is coming. For all they know, it could be the long range kamui that is coming. If you are just spinning in place when a kamui user tries to warp you (even if you are covered by chakara) you are done for. Therefore a smart Hyuuga would not just start spinning at the moment they felt the pressure. Since the amaterasu is basically instant and the Hyuuga did not start instantly spinning, the Hyuuga would get hit and burnt. The end. As for Obito and Nagato being able to sense the pressure, they were already very familiar with Sasuke and Itachi's MS abilities and which eyes they used to cast particular jutsus. That is how they were able to know that the pressure that they were feeling was amaterasu.

I just thought about something. Even if a hyuuga felt the pressure building in an Uchiha's eye, that wouldn't necessarily mean that they would know it to be amaterasu that is coming. For all they know, it could be the long range kamui that is coming. If you are just spinning in place when a kamui user tries to warp you (even if you are covered by chakara) you are done for. Therefore a smart Hyuuga would not just start spinning at the moment they felt the pressure. Since the amaterasu is basically instant and the Hyuuga did not start instantly spinning, the Hyuuga would get hit and burnt. The end. As for Obito and Nagato being able to sense the pressure, they were already very familiar with Sasuke and Itachi's MS abilities and which eyes they used to cast particular jutsus. That is how they were able to know that the pressure that they were feeling was amaterasu.

It is entirely true that sensing the pressure doesn't mean it automatically means a block, but that purely factors into an individual basis.


Sasuke and Itachi are different people who fire Amaterasu at different rates. Hinata, Neji, and Hiashi are all different levels in viewing things.

However, the Byakugan sees the flow of chakra far better than a Sharingan and Rinnegan. Meaning it can see a movement to build up in an eye before the pressure would be sensed. Additionally, we also know that Amaterasu only operates in the right eye as I recall. More importantly, only Amaterasu has been noted to give off a pressure when being prepared... why?!

Because Amaterasu is a projectile designed to move at god-like speeds. Unlike something like Tsukiyomi which isn't made to fire as fast, but is automatically effective if eye contact is made.


The situation you've described is purely hypothetical. We have no idea how anyone would react to anything. No one would react the same. The OP has stated Jyuuken cannot counter Susanoo and Amaterasu; however, based only on analyzing how the abilities work they can be countered.

Playing hypothetically, when the pressure is building, why doesn't the Hyuga just use air palm since it can more readily counter Amaterasu. If it isn't amaterasu the attack either lands or phases through... if it is amaterasu the Uchiha gets some black flames in their face. See... purely hypothetical.

Also, how much time did Nagato and Itachi spend together. Obviously not a lot considering they weren't partners, it was noted at the end of part I they hadn't gathered in years, gatherings weren't fight oriented so they never fought together. 1. Jyuuken can destroy chakra. It's quite simple. Neji was able to grapple the thread and channel his chakra where Kidomaru's was. Thus, it destroys chakra.

2. Air palm and air wall palm are blasts of chakra. They also have destructive ability. If Amaterasu makes contact it burns the chakra not the Hyuga.

3. The Byakugan sees the movement and build up of chakra. The Byakugan is the msny insightful Dojutsu. Nagato could read Amaterasu far before it's use. A Hyuga could do the same but better. Thus, they have ample time to prepare air palm or Kaiten.

Since Amaterasu burns the chakra and not the person, since YOU YOURSELF claim it burns chakra, they block Amaterasu. Amaterasu is also noted to burn anything it touches not so much as burns through everything instantly. It's noted to burn slowly. Or else Karin would be dead.




4. Susanoo is a entity made from chakra. Jyuuken can destroy anything made from chakra as said in the manga.

5. Susanoo requires constant chakra to maintain. Thus, chakra has to be placed into the structure constantly else it would not exist. Why do you think Itachi died: ran out of chakra plus Ninja aids.

6. It can be destroyed by physical force: Tsunade and Horudora had no problem rag dolling it. Jinton destroyed it. Hiashi's Air Wall palm is the single most devastating Taijutsu move to be used so far. It blocked and pushed back the Juubi tail. Even more notable as Air palm is an equivalent of extended Jyuuken... Which oh yeah destroys things made from chakra.

7. Jyuuken could destroy the Water Prison which had no obvious source of chakra flowing through it.


Susanoo can be destroyed by Jyuuken.

Highly pressurized water, extremely hot/boiling water, or high pressurized boiling water can break through ice.


But guess what: it all depends on factors.

1. Heat of water.

2. Composition of ice: dry ice vs regular ice vs synthesized ice

4. Amount of pressure: high, low?

By explaining your analogy far better, it's actually more obvious it does have the ability to deflect Amaterasu or defeat Susanoo. It is a combination of the following.

1. The Hyuga in action.

2. The Uchiha in action.

3. The scale in which air palm and rotation are used.

4. The scale in which Susanoo is used


It's all about factors. From what we've seen: Hiashi Hyuga has the scale to break any Susanoo without legs. Most likely one with legs like Hashirama's Mokuton clones. Perfect Susanoo is unlikely. If anything he can move it around/trip it so to speak.


It can.

1. Byakugan's ability to register chakra movement exceeds its other Dojutsu partners.

2. It's insight is better: meaning it can detect the pressure Nagato could.

3 Kaiten can have its scale increased and decreased.

A) Part I Neji had it slightly larger than himself.

B) Part II Neji could make it large enough to where it was sizeable on the Juubi's palm which is notably larger than Susanoo.

4. Amaterasu burns what it touches: here it would be chakra.

5. A Hyuga can cut that chakra link by canceling the chakra dispersion.


Conclusions:

1. Amaterasu burns the chakra, not the Hyuga using it.

2. Amaterasu is not just some entity that burns nothing and suddenly falls on people, it will burn the chakra it hit until it is gone. Thus, it will quickly burn outs it burns the faint remains of chakra.

3. Kaiten has the opposite effect in terms of drawing fire. While it would create a flaming storm around it, the release of chakra would repel air nearby Neji creating s vacuum. Fire cannot burn without air, and thus during the vacuum state, Amaterasu can't GET to a Hyuga.

@ KGB there are some things I disagree with your statements here. First the title of the thread implies Hyuugas vs Susanoo or Amaterasu. So if my argumentation sounds a bit to broad I apologize.

Regarding air palm vs Amaterasu I have a few reasons why I feel like your reasoning for it stopping amaterasu is invalid.

Amaterasu doesn't travel it ignites where the user focuses his eye sight at.You seem very knowledable, so if you were unaware of this fact(never directed it) I understand if not I would like to see a counterargument. Not only that a sharigan user can see the build up of chakra as well and can also foreshadow movement. Hypothetically a Uchiha with amaterasu can just hold in the build up and attack when it's better suited for them.

Now for a more direct situation 1v1 enton vs air palm. (amaterasu vs air palm simply won't work imo).

If a Hyuuga uses airpalm and causes an Uchiha to direct his attack towards the airpalm I don't believe it could stop it because it's composed of chakra. Is this a contradiction on your part? If Amaterasu/Enton can destroy things composed of chakra like Juken it should be able to destroy air palm because it's also composed of chakra.

However the difference between Enton and Juken/Air palm is that it uses chakra to dismantle things composed of chakra while Amaterasu burns through it. So in essence if the chakra is burned from Juken/Air palm the attack won't sustain.

The same logic applies to Kaiten however the attacks are different. I read your other post, I disagree Kaiten has no vaccum properties. Kaiten is just a release of the users chakra. Again if Amaterasu burns through chakra it burns through Kaiten/Rotation.



I read your counterargument regarding Susanoo I agreed with most of it except for Onnoki statement. I believe he was referring to Susanoo. The word "Enormous" makes it in regards to Susanoo however there is nothing much other than that to disagree with you.

I want to say good job to the OP, aside from the slanders he does make some valid points I never thought of such as Susanoo being a physical being made from chakra. Amaterasu successfully burning chakra.

@ KGB there are some things I disagree with your statements here. First the title of the thread implies Hyuugas vs Susanoo or Amaterasu. So if my argumentation sounds a bit to broad I apologize.

Regarding air palm vs Amaterasu I have a few reasons why I feel like your reasoning for it stopping amaterasu is invalid.

Amaterasu doesn't travel it ignites where the user focuses his eye sight at.You seem very knowledable, so if you were unaware of this fact(never directed it) I understand if not I would like to see a counterargument. Not only that a sharigan user can see the build up of chakra as well and can also foreshadow movement. Hypothetically a Uchiha with amaterasu can just hold in the build up and attack when it's better suited for them.

Now for a more direct situation 1v1 enton vs air palm. (amaterasu vs air palm simply won't work imo).

If a Hyuuga uses airpalm and causes an Uchiha to direct his attack towards the airpalm I don't believe it could stop it because it's composed of chakra. Is this a contradiction on your part? If Amaterasu/Enton can destroy things composed of chakra like Juken it should be able to destroy air palm because it's also composed of chakra.

However the difference between Enton and Juken/Air palm is that it uses chakra to dismantle things composed of chakra while Amaterasu burns through it. So in essence if the chakra is burned from Juken/Air palm the attack won't sustain.

The same logic applies to Kaiten however the attacks are different. I read your other post, I disagree Kaiten has no vaccum properties. Kaiten is just a release of the users chakra. Again if Amaterasu burns through chakra it burns through Kaiten/Rotation.

I believe i will step in for this one.

While an uchiha can see chakra buiidup as well, they only see it in a general sense compared to the byakugan, plus the hyuugas alwys have chakra in their palms, so to say they would really see a significant buildup in chakra necessary for an air palm is highly unlikely. Kaiten is different since its just an extremely quick expulsion of chakra from all points at once, meaning there doesnt have to be chakra buildup for it since their is always chakra present throughout their bodies to use that ability.

Now for the part about enton: this part isnt about completely stoping it in its tracks, this is about preventing it from reaching the user by giving it chakra and forcing it to dissipate on its own due to a lack of fuel to keep it burning. Both air palm and kaiten would be different ways to temporarily stop the flames for a moment so that when the chakra from the techniques dissipate, it will dissipate on its own. Also kaiten can be used to hold it off for a significantly longer time than air palm because the chakra is being constantly replenished by the user and its being constantly being rotated at high speeds, preventing any single point from being focused on and burmed straight through at any given moment. The fire will simply spread around the dome of chakra, and when the user has stopped spinning, the fire will dissipate along with the chakra.
