the hunger games sucked

i went with my friends yesterday to see the hunger games and we werent very impressed it was absolutely terrible but that's just my opinion

It wasn't that bad in my opinion. I love the books and the movie missed some parts and screwed up some parts but it wasn't terrible. It would have been a good movie if I hadn't read the books. But jennifer lawrence and josh hucherson killed it though. Great acting.

The books are great, no clue on the movie as I haven't watched it yet, but my girlfriend went to see it with her sister and said it was alright. Although if you're a big reader you'll know that movies do not compare to books, so it's understandable it sucked if you had high expectations.

I found the movie to be something new and fresh. I thought it was overall a good movie. I went into it expecting something to push for the second movie. I am working on reading the books now but just like the lord of the rings I am sure the books and movies will be different.

I thought The Hunger Games was disappointing too. I never read the books, but I expected it to be good because of all the hype about it. It wasn't a very good movie in my opinion.

Never read the books though I will probably get them soon. I was actually really wanting to go to The Hunger Games because well supposedly the Breaking Dawn Part 2 Trailer would be on before it.. yet it wasn't and well the movie was okay but I felt like it wasn't really... something I would remember years to come.

In all opinion, I would take this advice now, read the books first and read reviews of the movie second.
