Yeah the Izanagi without eyes part may be a bit too much, but Izanagi itself must have something to do with the eyes being stitched open as if it were stopping it from closing or so.

Most likely, seeing as Shin is using Shunshin excessively and masking his movements with leaves and such.

Well that's just one of the reasons as to why his eye is looking all red and weird, the other reason was due to it remaining open for such a long time. These are just small points I'm trying to put out there, I can't exactly explain how though. Sorry.

Maybe he's Kagami. He seems really old. Kagami was Danzo,and Hiruzen's age.
