Okay so its coming out December 13th and I'm so hyped about it!
Part 1 of "The Hobbit" was so awesome and I can't wait for parts 2 and 3. x)
I think we may get to see the White Council destroy Dol Guldur and Drive the Necromancer out with Galadriel's ring Nenya, although that wasn't really shown in the book x_x.
I read "The Hobbit" 2 times already and its action packed. Tolkien is a god U_U
I'm sure all the Tolkien aficionados already saw the new trailer xD

This is the first trailer that came out for "The Desolation of Smaug" I believe:

I might be the greatest Tolkien fan up here I read LoTR over 10 times, watched the movies dozens of times (yes I am weird, I know) I read The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, Unfinished Tales, ... a few times

but sorry, the first part of The Hobbit just did NOT live up to it, I was actually quite disappointed after waiting for it for a year and a half and following it for that same time for it's time of shooting

It just doesn't fit to the LoTR trilogy and is nowhere as well made as the 3 LoTR movies but than again The Hobbit isa much more childish read than LoTR, but at least the books fit one another

and last but not least TOO MUCH CG!!!!!!

that being said, it's not a bad movie, it's like Iron man or Avengers, nice to watch but just not up there with the best

I thought this would be a new trailer T.T

....but yeah I'm excited, something else to look forward too. The hobbit book was never as good as the LOTR trilogy but I still enjoy both.

They're my favorite books and I don't think anything surpasses them U_U
I'm excited ^^ I loved the first part of The Hobbit. Great adventurous movie
Indeed it is :)
the hobbit is my favorite book, the movie is so different then the book but i still really enjoyed the first one (i watched it like 2 days ago)
I'm gonna watch part one tonight xD
Might see it since I liked the book.

but you know what they say, the book is always better than the movie u_u
The book is indeed better, but I think this movie will show scenes of The Necromancer's defeat at Dol Guldur, because they already introduced the white council and Radagast, which were only mentioned in the Hobbit once. I'm a big gandalf fan so i'll be looking forward to that x)

Yeah I wanna see how they're gonna introduce her and Legolas and Tauriel, both were not introduced in the book, but Peter Jackson said "He's Thranduil's son, and Thranduil is one of the characters in The Hobbit, and because elves are immortal it makes sense Legolas would be part of the sequence in the Woodland Realm."

Been waiting for this to come out for so long.
I'll definitely be going to watch it when it releases.
Cheers ^^
