Chapter 1
Sarada: I will like to know everything about the uchiha clan, my uncle uchiha itachi and their connection to the village and my dad.
Boruto: Why are you eager to know what happened sarada. (Himawari looks worried for her and takes her hand)
Himawari: What happened, Sarada onee-san?
Sarada takes a deep sigh and tells them her dream. There is a flashback, of sarada as a little girl playing in the woods. Just then, wolves come lurking from the bushes, sarada spots them and starts to run quickly, she screams for her father and mother but there is no answer, the wolves give her a hot pursuit. Sarada runs till she comes to the waterfall at the valley of the end. She sees that there is no way she can jump into the rushing waterfall. She turns her back and sees the hungry wolves slowly approaching her with a killing intent. She shouts for her parents again, but there is no response. She takes stones and throws at the wolves to scare them away but they still keep approaching her. They jump to attack her. Just when all seems over for her, she feels a gigantic hand that covered her. She looks back and sees itachi protecting her with his susano'o. The wolves look angrily at itachi and decide to attack him. Itachi jumps into the air and throws shuriken accurately at each of them. The wolves, yelp in pain as they back off. He then, uses a fireball jutsu to burn most of them. Those that survived run back to the forest for their lives. Sarada looks relieved and wants to thank itachi, although she doesn't know who he is
Sarada: Thank you for saving me. (Itachi approaches her with a smile and places his hand on her head as he kneels and says her name. Sarada, feels that family warmness from him but looks puzzled and asked him how her knows her name. Itachi smiling as he stands up and gradually walks away. She sees the uchiha crest on the back of itachi's dress and tries to call him, but there is a bright flash of light that comes and separates her from him as she tries to find him.
Chapter 2
The flashback ends as she ends her narration of the dream. Boruto and Himawari look in awe as they heard her story.
Boruto: That uchiha might have been very strong that my dad or yours.
Himawari: He is a hero
Sarada; Indeed he is, which is why I want to understand why I have been having that dream many times and I want to know the connection to me and the village. ( They look at the computer and sarada ask her request again).
Computer: Very well, I will show you everything about the uchiha from the beginning of the ninja history till the present day. ( The computer explains and shows them the pictures and videos of hagaromo and his brother and kaguya, then the story of Indra and Ashura, the uchiha and Senju, Madara and Hashirama, the hidden leaf village, then gradually, the uchiha massacre by itachi, the village elders, Danzo and Hiruzen, the akatsuki, Sasuke and danzo's battle, the fourth ninja war, Madara and kaguya's battle with Sasuke, Naruto and the whole ninja alliance and finally all the battles between sasuke and Naruto.
As the computer is about to end the narration, the kids are surprised with what they saw but not as much as sarada who saw the death of her grandparents and all that her dad went through. She clenches her fist.
Sarada: So, that was what my dad was hiding from me and Asuri. I never knew my dad went rouge because all that happened to him. (She becomes angry). What was wrong with the ninja world. (Himawari and boruto look sadly at her understanding the pain she is feels, even as they are disappointed with their father for also lying about history of kurama )
Sarada: (speaking tearfully) was power so important in the ninja world that they had to kill those who were innocent to get it. I can't believe my own dad hid this.
Boruto; I am angry myself with the village with they way they treated my dad as a reject when he was a kid. As if he had no feelings at all. ( As they are fuming with anger and himawari was sobbing over the death of neji. The computer addresses them)
Computer: Miss sarada, there is one thing left that was left for you and boruto. It is a memory of sasuke-sama along with a video message. (The computer shows sarada, the final parting between itachi and sasuke at kabuto's hideout, then Naruto with kushina and minato. Two videos come with naruto message to boruto and himawari later with sasuke's message
Sasuke: My dear daughter sarada. If you are seeing this video then it means my time has come as you have grown up to be adults. I have made my mistakes as a young ninja, which nearly tore my relationship with everyone including your mother. I can only ask that you will forgive me for causing you and your brother a lot of pain as I also hid the truth of the clan for you all. I know I can't decide your response after seeing this. But I want you to know that I am always proud of you and your brother. Your mother and you all have become the family that has replaced all I lost. I can only say that cherish your friendship that you have with all your friends in the village and never be proud to ask them for help. I don't want you and your brother to follow my path. I want you all to create your own path. A path of good that will make you a better and honourable ninja than me. I know you two will surpass me one day and I can entrust the uchiha clan name's and the hidden leaf village to you all to protect. Protect those I love. I know you all will make the right decisions. I always will be watching over you.
Chapter 3
The video ends with them pondering over what their fathers said. Sarada's anger subsides, as she hears the words of her father. She realises that her father did it so that when the time is right, she will know the truth and how much faith her father has in her and her brother. Boruto and Himawari look smile weakly knowing the same time.
Boruto; I guess, our dads do trust us after all. We just misunderstood their intentions.
Sarada: You are right. If I am going to be hokage and lead the new uchiha clan then I must let go of the past and forge my own path.
As they are about to leave they hear a familiar voice that seems angry with them. They turn and find sasuke looking displeased at them. Boruto runs and hides behind sarada and himawari.
Sasuke: What are you kids doing here. You might have had us worried
Himawari; How did you know that we were here, uncle sasuke.
Sasuke: I came to sarada's room to make sure that she was asleep. But when I saw the empty bed I tracked your chakra's here.
Boruto: It wasn't my idea. I was just following them to see what was going on. I didn't....( Sarada walks towards her father. Everyone looks at her)
Sarada: Dad, I have learnt the whole truth of what you had been through and that you did this for our safety. There is nothing to be ashamed of. I am actually happy that you broke out the chain of hatred and I am proud of you and proud being an uchiha. I will forge my own path and become hokage and i won't let you down.Sasuke is surprised at what is daughter has said but he is pleased with her response.
Sasuke; I know you will surpass me and be a better ninja than me. It is ok that you learnt the truth but you won't remember it till the near future when you are ready. Sharin-rinnengan: Limbo forest jutsu. ( Sasuke cast a genjutsu on the kids, they are sturck by it and fall asleep.
Chapter 4
Sasuke takes boruto and himawari to their house. He explains to Naruto and hinata what happened. Naruto is not pleased that sasuke used a genjutsu on the kids
Naruto; Sasuke!!, You promised that you will not use genjutsu on the kids. You know how you genjutsu can affect them badly. Hinata looking worried
Hinata: Will they be ok?.
Sasuke: Relax, I only used my genjutsu to erase the memories on what they saw this night. They won't remember a thing of that incident when they wake up in the morning.
Naruto still not happy with sasuke using the genjutsu on the kids but hinata calms him down and convinces him that it was the right thing to do. Sasuke takes his leave and goes home
At the uchiha mansion. Sasuke pats sarada and Asuri's heads as they are sleeping. Sakura, comes in and meets him at the balcony.
Sakura: Sasuke-kun, you are letting your fears prevent you from trusting the children to make the right decisions. They are growing and soon we won't be around to decide for them. You need to trust them
Sasuke tries to ignore what his wife is saying. But deep down he knows that sakura has a point. It was time he trusted his children and took responsibility as a father and be there for them. Something that he never had when he was a kid. Sakura hugs him from behind as sasuke sighs knowing that it is time, to train them since he and the guys are aware of orochimaru's potential attack at the main battle.
Chapter 5
At the crack of dawn, sarada wakes up and finds her father sitting besides her. She smiles at him.
Sarada: Good morning papa.
Sasuke: Good morning. (He gets up). Get dressed sarada. I am going to train you in preparation for the main battle of the chuunin exams. Sarada becomes happy upon hearing this and then prepares herself.
Sasuke and sarada leave the house for the mountains to train. Sakura and Asuri come and wave goodbye at them.
Sakura and Asuri: Be safe and do your best. Sarada waves back at them, Sasuke smirks at sarada's enthusiasm knowing that he is about to spend time with his daughter.
At the mountains before training, sasuke kneels before sarada and pats her head.
Sasuke: Sarada,I want you to know that I am always proud of you and I love as your father. I believe you can surpass me and that you will make me and your mother proud. I want you to forge your own path and become the hokage that you want to be. Always cherish your friends, family and the village. They will be the source of your strength and power (Sarada smiles as she listens. Sasuke then gets up). But don't expect me to pull any punches, this training will be hard.
Sarada: (She smirks at her father). I won't let you down papa.
They take a fighting stance and get ready to train. To be continue: The training between father and daughter begins.
