You forget Nagato is a sensor, and on top of that he also has shared vision. It is nearly impossible to defeat Nagatos SO6P Squad without intel on how they work. Even with intel it is highly difficult to defeat him. Kabuto made a mistake leaving Nagato and Itachi out of the battle field. He was probably saving them, but they would have destroyed a significant amount of the Alliances army. Kimimaro and Chiyo held their own till they go recalled, Just think of the power difference between those two group.
