Naked from the feelings I once wore
I lost interest in things of this world.
Happiness, sadness, anger
all became the same
for I lost someone to relate.
Days came in days came out,
alone in a road I was watching the crowd.
With my blurred vision I could see nothing wrong
all I could hear was people laughing along.
And so I changed.
My indifference became rage
and so did I become enstranged.
My vision was lost forever in the darkness
but my hearing got improved, I could hear the ashes.
The voices in my head would never leave me in peace
and so I decided to find what I missed.
In doing so, I did a lot of crimes
which, in a strange way, fulfilled my desires.
But stealing wasn't always easy,
I had to find a way to live.
And in the toughest of days
I even tried to kill.
Pulling the trigger was not easy at first.
Even if I changed, I lacked the thirst.
But after a while
I turned white.
Not pure of course, such feelings are not for me.
Death is the reality I really want to see.
And so I went to an old woman's home
in which children were not in, she was all alone.
"What do you want?" she screamed in shock.
"To die, please, make it short".
"But what did you do to ask for that?".
"I killed some people, I killed a lot".
"But I don't want to play along!"
"I killed your child, I killed your husband
I killed your family to feed my hatred!"
Her expression changed, it became cold
all I whispered was "die afterall".
But.
She did not kill me, she did not pull the trigger
I begged her to do it, she begged to differ.
"I'm not a judge, I'm not a god,
You chose to kill, I choose not.
Your hatred is what drove you here
take your gun and disappear."
Her words felt like swords in my heart.
She wouldn't kill me despite all that.
"I hate you! I hate you with all my heart"
Tears start to fall and I cry hard.
"Because your kindness showed me a way
that I had forgotten in disarray!"
"I hate you!" I cried once more
"Your kindness is not what I wished for!"
with a faint smile: "But thank you for showing me a bit of love"
I pulled the trigger and I dropped.
