In all sincerity, I started disliking the character when Tobi was revealed to be Obito. I was really hoping for Tobi to be another character, not madara nor Obito. But, as a character, he wasn't that bad, really. I just dislike him because he ruined the possibility of a new character being introduced.

i didnt bother watching any ''reviewers'' this week bc i knew they would have their shit understanding of obitos character. each one is a spazz with annoying habits. also many dont see the many parallels with obito and many other things such as the zabuza arc. theyre everywhere.

you can see here some people think he went crazy JUST bc rin died. he meant that dreams hopes and wishes are usually broken and they dont matter.
in the end he undid those thoughts as nobody and believed again. he was able to sincerely thank naruto, something he couldnt do since madara saved him. madara had other ideas in mind with that thanks tho.

Oh, I wished for Izuna so bad! He would have been a perfect match, and the Obito story wouldn't have been modified. I believe the Kakashi gaiden message was too good as it was, so I wanted it to be left untouched.

His reasoning for starting war was stupid, he killed tons of people because his childhood crush died. Mind you, I wouldn't be all that focused on said reasoning, IF there wasn't Rin flashbacks in every other chapter he's in. It was ONE person, he needed to move on, but he decided to pout and dwell on the fact life wasn't fair, which should be obvious in it's own right. All in all, he was good in the beginning, but horrible at the end.

I also didn't like the fact that he was made out to be this big "final boss"-type character despite being incredibly underdeveloped and having basically no role in the story at all beforehand - the Kakashi Gaiden was obviously written only to introduce him and lead up to him being revealed as Tobi, and to me it was really forced and not interesting.

In the end bro Obito is like any ordinary person, he has his dreams, chases after them and hits speed bumps on the way to his goal throughout life being used and mislead by others for their own purposes so I don't see why either.... at first I didn't like him but I gained atleast a little respect for him after he died .. check this out I go into detail about why he is cool
