[APPLICATIONS] The Grand Ninja Games
Hello all. Well first things first, I was a participant in Pervy's Chuunin exams. They didn't end quite as I'd hoped though the core concept was something I really enjoyed. So with that in mind I would like to propose a tournament, or rather a series of games, since not everything will be about straight up fighting. Now normally I would go around the staff, pestering them to allow me to host something with official RP rewards. I'd probably get shot down and give up, but really I noticed something in Pervy's tournament, I'm sure others did too. The rewards given by the system, in this case a bio permission and some training. Nobody really wanted. What people primarily wanted is what they always seem to want. Customs.
So with that in mind I'd like to propose a different format than what we currently use. This event as I'm going to now refer to it. Will take place in the ninja world and it will be official, every entrant in to the event will if possible put a custom of their own in to the prize pool. This can be anything from CFS to CJ to CE if they feel like it. Now I'm sure some people out there would enter such a thing gladly but why stake our customs right? When the odds are some vainglorious OP oldie will just join and kick our asses and get all our customs? Well let me just say this won't be a event like any before on NB. This won't be down to minute criticism of timeframe, nor praying for that last minute to pass so you can call time limit. No this event will be about RPing first and foremost. It will be about embodying your character your ideals and your goals and bringing them in to the ninja world forum.
Which brings me on swiftly to my next point, we will need staff. For a multitude of reasons, though primarily it will be to aid in writing plot points, and maintaining an evolving storyline based on your actions. This isn't a scripted event, the people who are part of it will make the story as they progress through a series of moves and power moves in the event. This will be explained in more detail once the event is underway and suffice it to say I won't be revealing too much lest I ruin all the fun. So, to keep this next bit short and sweet. Signups will be below, for the various positions. Note that being a "Narrator" as we call it will also come with rewards, but only a select number of narrators will be chosen and it will be based solely on their experience as a RPer and their knowledge.
P.S I know it's terrible there ain't any graphics or pretty headers. But to be fair this is just an idea, if it pans out I'm sure I'll bother to make it pretty in the future.
