A nodachi is longer than a katana, though that actually has not much relevance to this considering it has never been said that all 3 Kitetsu swords are exactly the same. In fact considering that the younger the generation, the lower the quality class it's placed in, it's more logical to assume they are not identical, thus don't look entirely the same and if you look at the size of Mihawk's sword which belongs in the highest class...What's the difference between the two?

it's pretty obvious by now that they're all quite familiar with the art of fighting hence their scars + one of them was holding a sword; similar to Zoro's old sword, if I'm correct.
since one of them doesn't look as old as the others; I'm gonna assume all of them used to be admirals > fleet admirals > chief commander = Gorrosei.

if they created the government then they super old. not even closer to white beard. Over 100 if not more, think about it. white beard was young during Rogers era, but the government had already existed waaay before that, so their age far surpasses whitebeards.
