The Former Ashura/Indra Incarnations.

Hey guys. Don't know if this was already posted here so I'm just going to share it.

I think the former Ashura incarnations were Jiraiya and Minato. I'm veeeerry tempted to say Hiruzen, but I'm iffy about him.

Former Indra incarnations were probably Obito and Orochimaru. His former hosts are harder to suspect, I don't know if he specifically stuck to Uchihas or not. Nagato is also a candidate, but eh.

But, I also don't think 2 of the same incarnations can be alive at the same time in which case it would have went from Hashirama, to Hiruzen/Jiraiya probably to Naruto then. But then... where would Minato fit in? Both Jiraiya and him were called the children of prophecy, right?

Who do you think were previous incarnations? Agree or disagree with mines? Share yours as well.

Sorry, Jiraiya, Minato, Obito and Orochimaru cannot be former of Ashura and Indra incarnations.
They were alive in same time.

jiriya and minato are not senju/uzumaki thus they are not decended from ashura.

orochimaru is not uchiha nor senju.

obito is truly a mystery.

I'm wondering if Tobirama was an ashura reincarnation and izuna an Indra reincarnatio or even what about itachi and shisui cause even though itachi seemed like a bad dude but he had no choice cause he had to be a double agent working for both the leaf and akatsuki but overall he was actually quite decent and cared about the leaf and his brother so i guess in a way it would be hard to tell if itachi was an indra incarnation or not cause itachi seemed to have inherited hashiramas will of fire and shishui also was decent for an uchiha so that is confusing.

EDIT: Actually I just looked up there age. Jiraiya was 54 at death, Hiruzen was 70. To serve under Hokage on his team using common sense and intuition you would probably have to be older than 16 for experience. So around that time of Tobirama dying Jiraya could've been born and Ashura passed on to him.

So basically Hiruzen is 16. Jiraiya is just being born. Tobirama died at the same time, Ashura transfers to Jiraiya... but then what about Minato.

And as far as Indra, it would have been-
Izuna>Madara>Shisui? he seems to lighthearted, his incarnations are generally evil>Sasuke upon his death.

That sounds about right.

You can basically look at who had Rivals and there POV about the world.

I forgot about that. But who knows the age Madara died? It was when Obito was a teen (since that was the last we heard of him), which was around the time Sasuke was born. So it went from Madara straight to Sasuke which would be pretty linear.

But the most confusing part is Minato.

Alright I should make a thread, I think the chakra doesn't necessarily have to exist in one body. It's chakra not a soul the use of reincarnation in this manga is definitely being used loosely. I have a not so accurate theory about this that's slightly backed up by the Manga.

I believe the chakra can rest in multiple people. For instance, how can Madara have both and if it didn't linger in him why didn't his rinnegan activate upon Hashirama's death. He prolonged his life with the cells, thus having had the chakra from the moment he put the cells in him self. Most likely had to cultivate then eventually effect both eye's, but that biological not chakra related. <Yeah, that's too deep huh?>

With the exception of Obito not having any of the Indra's chakra. It's apparent he had Ashura's. If he had both he would of awoken the rinnegan, but he didn't.

What I'm saying is it's possible for it to linger then become attracted too a certain individual. I also theorize we haven't seen Sasuke use his Indra chakra. Naruto barely used it. In forming the KM cloak. I don't believe Ashura was a Jinchuuriki. In the picture of Ashura's chakra connected to Naruto, you can see it's not in him. Just connected.

of course it can. ;p. It finds a new body, that it find worthy. And seeing that besides Naruto.. Hashirama is the only worthy one for Ashura.. and besides Sasuke, Madara is the only worthy one for Indra.


Minato/Tobirama/Hiruzen/Jiraiya all these people come and go, and come in all shapes and sizes. However, people like Naruto/Hashirama/Sasuke/Madara.....only come once in a while.

Yeah the Sage stopped at Madara and Hashirama. If you're trying to fill in the gap between those guys and Naruto and Sasuke, I don't know if it's really necessary for them to always be inside someone. It might be that there could be a period of time where their chakra goes looking for the right person for their reincarnation.

The thought of it is still fun though. And I don't think that a chakra entity or however they described it can just 'wander' or exist around on earth for like 40 years without a host.

The closest example I can think of is the tailed beasts. When they die, they're gone for a period of time before they appear again somewhere. The manga never mentions how long it takes.

Well Hiruzen did have Danzo, but then Sasuke was alive at the same time.

But if we go by UchihaElders explanation it would make sense that he could exist in both of them. And if one of those hosts die then his chakra becomes inherited by another host where he becomes more powerful.

I'm just throwing out ideas here but that actually seems possible, Sasuke skyrocketed after that battle.
