The flaw in Madara's meteor

Some people fail to realize that if Madara used a meteor to kill someone, it would kill him too.
Especially in all of the Madara vs Tobi threads. Tobi would easily slip through the meteor, while it would kill Madara. And I still doubt Madara is stupid enough to use the meteor when he knows It'll kill him too.

Read those two pages. Muu/Kabuto asks whether Madara will crush them along with it, and he says yes, but they'll be regenerated soon enough.

And then here, they can clearly be seen regenerating.



So basically, if non-edo Madara tried using the meteor, he would die along with it. And assuming we're talking about non-edo Madara, the meteor would actually be weaker, seeing Kabuto revived him "beyond his prime." So the meteor wouldn't even be as strong as we can see in the manga, and therefore not as devastating. And still, Tobi would slip through it.

No it wouldnt. People need to realise that one of the rennigans ability is to fly as deva path has already shown us. If madara was to fly out of range and use the meteor he is safe

Ahhh, you made a good point. I have nothing to say to this. So I guess he still has an extremely heavy advantage with it. But, referring to the threads where non-edo Madara is a restriction, then the meteor would be significantly(?) weaker, so I doubt he'd need to fly away.

So Madara can fly now because he definitely has the same powers as Nagato did with his 6 paths. Madara strikes me as a showman and an elitist since he immediately revealed he had the rinnegan and called down the meteor right after that. why not float up in the sky and really show everyone how beneath him he thinks they are??
